I live in the south of West-Flanders and whenever we go to Knokke-Heist to go to the sea, we take this motorway, it is very convenient and there isn't as much traffic as on the E40 for example. Before this road existed it was quite annoying to reach Knokke from Brugge.
Complete adequation between music, speed increasing and this particular road. More "hair rising" than the Outrun game. A pure moment of pleasure for "road geeks" like me.
I saw the start of the construction of this motorway and the same 2x1 lane layout and the passage of Bruges with its multiple traffic lights before the motorway standards; I was a truck driver until 2015.
An important difference with a highway is that there may be intersections and traffic lights on a expressway. So because of the lights for the bridge they make it an expressway for a short time

Wow - a recently built expressway with a drawbridge. Unbelievable!
Why was there a end motorway sign at 3:39 transition to expressway briefly before returning to motorway status?
