I had recorded a stretch of A24 in Northern Portugal before, but this is the first video series focusing entirely on Portugal. I drove two-thirds of the Portuguese motorway system during this trip, over the course of two weeks.
It's literally an urban expressway, what did you expect? The only unusual thing here is the bridge at the begining given the local geography, but that's it.

the railroad deck was added later, it's not original to the bridge
That's correct, though the bridge was designed from the beginning for an additional rail deck to be built later.
I love it the road is so beautiful but the building looks a bit old

Eixo Norte-Sul (North-South Axis) in Lisbon
Urban-area rest stop and gas station on a major freeway. Don't see that in North America.
Also full of graffiti vandalism everywhere. You also don't see that in North America.
@@osasunaitor There was a lot of graffiti on roads around here in Seattle during Covid, but a lot of that seems to have been cleaned up.

Why are you watching this then? Seems quite more interesting than a standard road because of the bridge and the aqueduct.
Both bridge & aqueduct are not "standard" indeed...
