Exploring Brussels: A Drive Through the Heart of Europe | 4K HDR

- Our driving exploration of Brussels began from Bruxelles Midi (Brussels South Station) through bustling streets all the way to the city’s iconic Atomium. Along the way, we took a few detours and drove by the Belgium’s corporate and business district called the Northern Quarter. The detour also took us to some of Belgium’s key attractions, such as the giant Ferris wheel known as The View, Mont des Arts, Place Royale, etc. Brussels is one of Europe’s most captivating cities, and the capital of Belgium. Almost everywhere you turn in this city screams of “tourism”. From its blend of historical and modern architectures to its tunnels and great network of roads, some paved with stones. The roads are thoughtfully designed. Motorists enjoy a larger share of the road network. However, there are dedicated lanes for buses and cyclists in and around the city. Pedestrians equally benefit from Brussels’ complex road network. The city places high priority on pedestrians and the safety of foot traffic. It is easy to drive around Brussels, but that notwithstanding, public transportation appears efficient. For example, trams abound not only in the inner city, but as well in the suburbs it appears.
Brussels is incredibly diverse and impressive. Worth mentioning, is how multicultural the city is. Though the city attracts lots of tourists annually, you can tell the tourists from the locals. When you do, Belgium multiculturism is unmistakable. Another aspect of Belgium diversity is its multipurpose-use communities. A good number of the communities comprise of residential dwellings intertwined with commercial enterprises, convenience stores, cafés, pubs, barber shops, corner store pharmacy, etc. The result is a distinct aura of warmth and communal living. This video captures all of these, and we hope you enjoy our exploration of Brussels.

Did you run the red light on purpose or on accident at 2:02?
I saw that it's hidden behind the stop sign until 1:56, but since you stopped, you should've been able to see it.
I don't know, whether it's the same in Belgium or other EU countries, but here in Germany there are always signs next to the traffic lights. They are only important, if the traffic lights don't work for whatever reason. I guess that's also the reason, why you could hear someone honk at 2:05

@@brentisone That's probably because the clip I was talking about isn't there anymore. The video just cuts away now at 1:50 where you can still see the stop sign and the traffic light in the background, behind the silver car.
Road network of the city of Brussels are way much better than that of London's crooked and narrows like an alley.

0:53 you can see the map, and the journey doesn’t really go through the very centre of Brussels but the city does have PLENTY of crooked narrow roads, just like London. I think the two cities are actually a bit similar, with London being quite bigger of course.

Great video, but Brussels has the worst drivers in Belgium. And from what I'm seeing, I may even include you, the video uploader, in that statistic :p
