That's a 100% uninstall for me. What a shame, there was real promise here. But grinding low level shit again and again and again? Nope. This is like going to school and at exams they start you in first grade again. You're smarter, and there will be other challenges, yeah... but I'm still goddamn going through first grade again! I can't skip. This is an insane choice.

Actually I feel bad about this...spending days to level up the chars only to have them reset and run the same dungeons for days to get to the same status...this does not sound fun or new content...
Nah that's bullshit. I can tolerate character levels resetting, but artifact levels have nothing to do with stamina. Those should be left untouched. Knowing this now, not sure I'll keep playing.

Isn't endgame just boredom into eventually quitting. Plus in this game,there are multiple endgame content anyways,you just get to do them using different strata since all synergies change every season
I want to like this game. I really do. But the seasonal reset is a big yikes.
Im not feeling the whole losing all your gear thing. I used a lot of stamina to get it and stamina is non existent in this game. Probably gonna be a deal breaker for me.
it is more than stamina, i spent my real life time grinding that stuff. I don’t mind a grind but it needs to produce permanent progress, especially when it is pay to win….
But we will still have to rerun xp dungeon and gems dungeons over and over on the measly amount of stamina. And end up leveling the same few niche characters. So it still looks repetitive just in different skin.
I played beta and with them adding over 70 heros and different quests/bosses im still having fun
So, every 90 days, we lose everything we have other than our champs, who still get nerfed back to factory default? Like playing video games before saving was invented. It's official. Games are now evolving backwards. 💀

The thing I am tripping on is this. It looks like it takes about a week to get a rank 5 max level. So basically, if you make a mistake after about a month you are stuck with that mistake the whole season. Resetting your characters should be a season-wide thing.
Also energy, I use to purchase energy with my red gems but I quit because there is no long term value in it. Therefore, we really do need other means to fill it and the refresh rate needs changed.
Just food for thought.
I think the first Goblin Lair is placed strategically so players from last season/s can run it down using units with higher skill levels for faster levelling
They better scrap the seasonal reset as far as resetting hero levels and clearing our gear goes, or this game is sunk already.
This might be a game ender for me. I'm not feeling keep leveling my heroes up just for them to reset to 1. So glad I didn't spend money on this game. I'm done with this game.

It's good game but I don't know if it is because of raid is so bad lately that we all taking in that HARD COPIUM. I understand that resetting could be interesting... but not in a mobile game... DIABLO can afford it bc the story part of it is quite impressive and there are many build vartions etc. Worth noting that even Diablo is failing with this season-based model) And this game is far from it ..
but the Biggest part is I don't know how we are not calling out :
Champs level gone , GEAR GONE = interesting gameplay? huh? So we think that playing EARLY to MID game FARMING the SAME GOBLIN and SAME dungeons FOR EARLY GEARs, SUFFERing with falling rounds ( in the game when they don't give you auto) over over again is interesting in the LONG RUN ? .. bc for most of time ..( depend on how much u can grind it or pay for it . Safe to stay that out of 3 months, you will be without LEGO gear for 30 -45 days ).. :D So you are pLAYING an early game of Raid over and over again.. you might get lucky with insane LEGOS and you can't even see their POTENTIAL ever.. you CANNOT be excited about a cool piece of gear cause it will be gone... You CANT try to make farming faster on different dungones bc it will be gone before you get there . so it is early TO MID game SIMULATOR.. Yes STORY and NEW MAP .. let's see: How many of us are out there roaming around the map and doing stuff that has nothing to do with gearing heroes OR how many of us are deep into the story ??? how many videos are out there on those things? NONE bc maybe 10% of players care.... even for CCs this wont be good cause dungeon tutorials .. will be the same .. over and over again :D I mean come on.... this game is far from combat and story to make it DIABLO format .. WHICH is FAILING like straight up.. D4 just shows that doing the same lvl over and over again.. is gameplay that ppl enjoyed 15 years ago but now ... just doesn't hit the same... so realistically do we believe that this game creatively has more in tank than D4 ? ( bc it is the same Concept)
The gear, the champs and bosses are amazingly designed here... to repeat their early stages instead of building on them is waste of potential .. does it get boring eventually ?? sure.. but this game could have years before that.. while doing EARLY game on the same champs or maybe swapping 1-2 out ... over and over again ?? ( BC you are not getting that much legos or epics... to always have new teams or u may get weaker ones that u don't want to build) MAYBE ( what do I know) if they would give back all materials, in new season so u can lvl people up faster and get to at least mid game earlier.. could help IF they want to keep this format.. but eventually doing the same early game stuff struggling with gear over and over again.. nothin being smooth before day 79 /90 :D is FAR form interesting content :D

This is the worst concept and game design I've seen to date next to DI, starving for stamina like a crack head because the company refuses to listen to it's player base, so much content you can't do because it's locked behind needing specific characters you might not even pull, it takes a solid weeks worth of stamina just to level 1 character from 90-100, so all the time you spend into leveling a team for the first 2+ months gets ripped away meaning you only enjoy a fully built team for 2 to 3 weeks tops and that's if you're a hardcore player that never skips anything. Its a terrible concept that will cost this game 75% of its player base before next season even starts, you'll never convince anyone with half a brain that taking away all the time invested into something and just erasing it is a great business model that's bound for success. I'm sure everyone is jumping up and down for joy to struggle with goblins and gear farming over and over and over again in an insane cycle that never ends 😂💀

@@epic7hatesmesez320 I keep logging in trying to find anything good about it, it just seems like a overnight cash grab, no casual mobile gamer will ever be ok with grinding for 2 or 3 months to lose everything and start over, it failed epically for eve echoes and won't survive long term here, I like the actual game but if they don't fix the major issues fast and rethink the concept of full wipes every 3 months this game is dead on arrival.

Why don’t they do what Torchlight Infinity apparently does? Torchlight has one server for season resets and another older server for those who want to KEEP their character exactly as is, but won’t have access to the new content the season reset server has.
I know the levels get reset, but do the rankings reset too, or do we get to keep them at whatever rank we got them to?

At the absolute least, they could allow us to keep our equipped gear. Resetting our levels *AND* deleting our equipment is a real dirty move.
MY SPICY TAKE:
I disagree cuz its like doing the same thing with a lot of extra steps and the game gates you hard with level restrictions and energy purchase limits with a 10min recharge per energy just to slow your pace down.
(it is like rsl but with open exploration, remove that and it is almost same, grind gear, grind xp, get leggo heroes whatever but this time your doing everything all over again)
I do get it it's for against the whales (maybe to a point) but with lots of micro-transactions you can see in the shop I am not so sure, this gating is cuz the game is unfinished and lack content. At least rsl gates you with difficulty curve on bosses rather than gates your progression with "YoU mUsT bE lEVeL (**) tO prOgReSS" they really should put an appropriate boss or mini-boss to block your progression to make you grind in the story imo.
BUT I do feel what you mean it is like a new game+ or ++, wanting to replay the game but with an advantage also like kinda rogue -like games with gained experience but instead of dying to do it over again, it's with seasons instead.
The game is beautiful and full of potential and I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT (also I am a dungeon master) but that does not mean it's flawless. I just wish they could at least compensate the gears, I just do not like my hard earned rng grinded equipment to be just gone.

This is a huge 👎 from me. Realy enjoying Dragon Heir so far coming from Raid shadow legends and spending alot of money on Raid to try compete, low spender on here is much more fun and can still do most content. But this is why i quit diablo feel like im grinding for no reason, just leave the character lvls as is and drop new content/champs for each season would attract alot more player base than the route there going down. Hopefully with some of you guys streamer feed back they may look to change on this.
I am hoping the refrain from resetting heroes. If that is gonna be done give us back the xp. All that time was wasted.
The people who whaled out or got lucky summoning legendary champions in the 0 season are dominating in arena and finishing dungeons faster. Some people summoned 3 legendary from the horn already and others haven't got crap.
I rolled that horn 100 times and havent even gotten 15+. Pretty sure its rigged.
Damn i just realize at the end what the point in farming/playing? u say not stuck in one repetitive cycle lol but in reality u stuck doing same thing over and over again but even worse u lose your precious time goblin again, venom again exct.. what a f gimmick. the diffrent from MMOrpg they have new gear lvl and new dungeon to prolong its life.
i just realize this, if u not competitive or not even spend anything no point in try hard. the f2p will never finish or even enjoy all the content. even now f2p frustated over stamina but need to lvl at least 15 champ not to mention farm gear and rune. this is same like mobile game that at certain stage if u stuck u can reset back to stage one but u get some material to increase your power so u can pass through more higher stage than before u reset but in this game u have 3 month. and the worst part if u already play 1 season and lose most all your hard work and time why u should play again next season and do the same again and lose again. if what the game can only offer is new map and new story with same feature and farm lol nice gimmick. heck i dont even read the story.

The only thing I dislike the most about this game is that it is so hard to get legendaries; that aspect is hard pay-to-win.
Very good thank you. Yeah was a shock at end of s0 into s1 to see what really happen. Cause never played a game like this. As time goes buy even the whales won't have advantage I feel cause we will all have 10, 20 and 30 legos. Not just 1 to 3. I played full s0 and got 1 lego. From the horn no less haha but this season I have maybe 10 from orbs. Like the event pulls. Is where I put them all. And LOVE the 99 cent pick a epic. Wow I got frurbath after pretty much everyone saying if don't have he a must. Next I'll get think is fire a rat looking 2 sword wielding. Or a posion guy I have run into in gladiator yesterday. I fought the team. Killed them all I could not MOVE this one hp bar. Hit that team maybe 4 times with different teams. Has to be broken but was a God. My main damage is sigrid and everyone stacks debuffs. She kills everyone in 30 seconds normally but this rat fink... I never saw the blue bar move.
So all your effort and time and investment is going down the drain !? then why charge for monthly sub and stamina ?? good to know early .. this crap is what killed wow and other reset games for me .. thanks for the heads up ... and fuck being positive and repetitive your effort is going down the drain end of story , that means you lost time from your life for nothing doing the same frustrating crap and mindless auto battle and the same dungeons and the same horrible RNG all over again to get to the same point again and then lose it again thats called a rat race with a deadly meaningless ending RIP .. i would understand if the game was cheap and cost effective but this might be the most expansive game on mobile ... fuck keeping the game fresh .

@@SkratchG but also summonings which will be transferred into dragon crystals for getting dupe are bought by money. And as far as I understood, the artifacts are also at least reduced in level. So buying summoning dice is actully quite senseless in regards of getting dupes with them. You get dupes which will be tranformed into dragon crystals which you can use to level up artifacts but the artifacts will be set to starting level at the beginning of a new season. So actually a total loss of your moneytary investment apart from a possible new hero...this looks like a non-existing motivation to spend money on this game
The only game I can think of, where a regular forced reset of the world state ever worked out well, would be the Legend of Zelda: The Majora's Mask.
Based on everything mentioned in this video, I do not have high hopes of Dragonheir surviving long-term. I hope I am proven wrong.
I wasn't sure about the reset upon first hearing it, but coming from Raid you don't realize how much easier it is in this game to actually get people leveled & geared. It sounds scary, but if you actually play the game it's not that big of a deal and does lessen the gap a bit between players. Just over 2 weeks into season after playing beta I am starting to be able to farm legendary gear & once you get legendary that is all you get (no BS rare drops for farming highest level dungeons). Not saying it's perfect, but it's not a big of a deal as people are making it out to be (who probably haven't even played the game and are just making assumptions).
So basically its how you use the game. If you're dropping money in then put it into champ roster (and dupes for relics) since it carries over long term. You can experience early - end game in one season, then skip a season if you want to play whatever new game comes out after the season ends then come back in another season if you feel like popping back. if you just rethink where the real investment goes into, its chill. Seems like its made for the gamers in between super casuals and no-lifers. In RAID, a new player has absolutely no chance against a 3 year vet with all that power creep. Btw, maybe have daily specific dice roll events on the map that reward energy refills would give your hero stats more value, one for each stat.

I just started the game a week ago and now I see this... So, if I understand, I'm doing goblin stuff to raise my champions levels again and again for nothing? I'll keep them at their level for around 90 days and then I'll have to do it again? Please tell me I'm wrong...
So when a new season comes, we will have new bosses, new map, new gear sets. Basically every season you collect new heroes and you want to rank higher in the Otherworld(opens the last month of the season) to collect tons of rewards and that will make you stronger in every season. I have a video on the endgame event if you want to check that out.
I know it's hard to wrap your head around the reset of levels thing, but is not that bad if you think about it honestly.
New fresh content will bring new metas and you might want to work on different heroes/team comps to experiment and stuff.
And as f2p you can make lots of champions to level 100 by the end of the season and get some of the best gear the game drops.
This reduces the gap in between spenders and the regular players

Absolutely not. We get nothing out of it, and it is just replay for everything again with different kind of elemental synergy. This is not about end game but to keep the game with new stuffs and not the same stuffs again. I still enjoy this game but when the reset came, I might consider myself to quit if there is no change.

Still inspirations big thing bro. If you make a full inspiration legendary so it's %40 extra def-hp-atk each. This is already massive advantage for whales but for making this they should spend really a lot of money so it's okay i think 😁
i do like the idea really, same as PoE and Diablo. Really interested in how its gonna play out. I find the game pretty good and refreshing and i plan to dump Raid finally if this one keeps going. And yes i do agree about the energy. We need a little bit more like double the cap or make it regen faster, or simply give us refills from the daily commission quests smth like that

I had mine reset from the beta but gave the materials for them back so you can insta level them up again
Thanks for the video explaining things the game really fails to. I am a very casual player devoting my time to gaming but also other things. To hear that all that time spent in dungeons will be nothing worth after a certain time is insane. After this season reset I would expect a falling out of players with bad reviews of the game. This is sad cause I´ve really enjoyed it so far. The concept of seasons feels fresh and interesting but not like this.

I like seasons for the sole reason that we don't need to have new content to increase the power level of our teams more and more and basically make current content obsolete.
To be honest I think DH is very smart of how this reset season is working. I am looking forward to see how it is to try new combos but not totally from scratch :)

They need to refund skill books, or at least give some at season reset otherwise we will still be locked with the teams we can build.

I'm kind of loving it. Sucks to waste progression...but it'll keep it from being stale like RAID. I quit RAID two weeks ago (level 98 with a year played) because after 3 months of grinding food, gear, etc...and dozens of pulls of all types of shards...I couldn't pull a champ worth building. Energy costs for progression was off the charts...and event champs were impossible without spending $100 every single new champ. I was over it. This doesn't seem like it will suffer from that.

It's easy to explain, a game that focus on releasing new servers every day and at the end wype it all only to repeat the same cycle again and again... it's a system designed to attract new players not keep old ones.
You might enjoy season 1 you might enjoy another ride of season 2... maybe if you really forced yourself you might still like season 3, but can you really keep doing the same campaign for the next 1 year, 2 year? There is only so much you can do to change your gameplay each season unless they have huge overhauls in mind for the future ( and from what i can tell going from season0 to 1 they don't)
I will stick around and see where it's going but in my opinion this is a game designed to milk new players by being overly stingy with resources and hoping as many new players as possibile buy the packs to play a little more since we are so starved with stamina and dices the game provides.

Run out of stamina too often to deal with losing all my gear at the season reset. Do you know how many stamina breads you've eaten in your life? I don't.
A new storyline? Do we not get the conclusion to the current storyline? If so, that's like reading half of The Hunger Games, then being forced to put it down and start reading Game of Thrones. You dont just stop reading a book halfway through, then start reading a different book.

Season reset is a game ender for me, spent a bit of money, support thr dev type deal but to have everything reset to 1st level, all Armour, bread, etc reset to 0 would be like buying a car, make 1 year of payments, the bank comes out, puts a sticker on your car and says look at that great new car and resets your payments back to square one. So I lost money and time for what? They say balanced game play but it's in no way balanced, your clan is disbanded so you can find new people to play with and those whales that spend hundreds would still be ahead. Had so much potential, but to me, devs got greedy.
its a motivation to bring new players every season and not get bored.....lets see how the balance will go....those who leave vs those who stay. I will stay as it is a game exactly as i would like it when it comes to mechanics . Maybe they will think again about items or give you something to at least build one team right after the reset. You have the artifacts though which is a plus even at 0 level.

You don't need a season reset. If a game company wants to make money and have longevity then they MUST create new content. World of Warcraft is a great example, the game has been around for 15+ years and still has 5+ million subscribers --- why? -- because of new content, meta, and mechanics.

Considering all reset rules... one more reason why F2P should use all their rubies to pull legendary dice. I'm 44 orange dice in, having only bought the season pass.
I might even be inclined to whale out for a season to get more champions/ artifacts. I like that it's my decision and not pushed onto me because they add harder and harder content.
Its pretty silly because you have to forcefully use whatever you have within the season even though we get shitty rng on rolls. You cant be patient to wait for better team builds (p2w can) because you will either get stuck trying to wait or have mediocre teams because you waste all your resources on first come first serve heroes. All leads to frustrating gameplay and suffering progression. All the positivity in this video is a content creator vibe as if you will just crush the devs greedy motives. Anytime you feel you are being rushed, the answer is to PAY. Season is a microtransaction mechanic to force impatience and push the dollars.

Мда. Если все заново фармить, то это конец игре. Мало того что билеты играют за тебя, а не проходят автоматом. Так их ещё и не купить. (Билеты добавили, теперь осталось их механику поменять)
Disrespectfull with player time. Gachas are made to collect characters and equipment! Getting rid of equipment and levels will kill the game.
I don't think is that bad, but we gotta wait and see how people will react. I like that idea of new bosses and stuff.

Actually I do not care much about the story...there is too much clicking on text-based passages already...there are too many boring dialogues...and now to repeat this every season? Beginning from the start and lose all gear, runes and experience? However much I enjoy the game at the moment...but this sounds like a hard break and stop to play this game...imagine you spend some money and got a lot of dupes transformed into dragon crystals to level up your artifacts...and now this will disappear at the start of a new season? This is just looking like plain theft...
it is theft 100% they are stealing your money / time and effort .. and masking it behind the nonsense of keeping the game fresh silly excuse from a greedy money hungry company .

The question is does the skills reset aswell? i mean i purchase some legendaries scrolls. and that aint cheap as we all know. @SkratchG
