What happens with arena points? I've started saving for the legendary artifact now that I can hit silver. If I have 39000 pts saved at the end of the season and lose them all for no reward, I'm going to be miffed 😂
@aletheist2709 you lose them, yes. You have to get that within one season. Probably should have asked that early on. Tbf the game os very clear what currency stays and goes. It says it all in reset rules which you can see day 1

Yeah, I did read that too, but was hoping I was missing something. I think with something as important as arena points, there should be some compensation for the wipe of arena points, but that's just my opinion. It is a pretty significant part of the game, where people can play 30 matches a day. I'm at 26k points with 24+days left. I'll probably risk it for the biscuit (legendary trinket), haha, but man it's going to be close. Risking the points like that puts me out a lot of other resources.

Just started today and going through your videos, at first i dodnt like the idea of reset why i never played before. However i am also the kind of person to make new accounts again and again as i like starting over and improving with knowledge so i think im actually gonna love this, im competitive as well so bonus 😂😂
I agree after x amount time new servers should stop and you either wait for next season or play a season half way in to learn and get resources and prepare for the next season, It could make CC jobs hard if the gap is too long as you will be talking about season 2 and some watcher wont understand as they will still be ia couple of weeks into season 1. - Thanks for explaining i was wondering how it would work :)
You might want to get started on Fey right away, it's by far the hardest content in the game and will take time. I started on global launch and only 3 ppl on my server has finished it.
Nah they are called "attribute points" and as I show in the video, for S1 those did not reserve. So unless they change for this season, it's still not proper terms
yeah i would if you're about the same timeline as me; you'll get 10 from reset rewards (from the pure sandcore conversion) if you want to spend it there. but anything you can save to get those first 20 summons will mean 20 legendaries as long as you rank high enough to get those special tickets; really cool honestly to start the season like that!
Taking away essence from summons is so bad. People pay money to summon and that’s just a joke that they remove even 1% of that. These mobile games are the worst thing to happen to gaming.
Horizons are items that give you ability points darling, so ability points are alll the extras on your MC non-battle stats apart from those given due to race/class selection
They are not called "ability points", they are called "attribute points" - they said the same thing last season, that those would stay, but they reset. Unless they fixed that for this next reset.
I think the staggered server seasonal transition times killed it for me. Im 65 days away from season 2. All the CCs I watch will be on season 2. The reason I play these games is to escape into CC videos wich keeps me interested in these long grind games. I will not be starting a new account to keep up with the timeline. I invested into the account I have. Seasons should be a global time frame. If you start a few weeks before a season change you are inconvenienced once. If you are months behind and stuck in a previous season your vever up to date with any CCs there's no new content relevant to you. Nah, this is stupid.
I really don't understand how you can dislike it that much. I started the game 6 days ago and starting the game at the same time as the players in the server is really fun and motivating to compete with the others. In turn, competition makes the experience even more exciting as you get rewards for ranking high. Besides, except pvp, it's very achievable as a free to play thanks to the awesome rares and epics. On the contrary, if I had started against season 0 players, everything would have already been accomplished before I even arrived, and I wouldn't have the same feelings. I would have had that sense of disappointment as Ivy described. However, now that I discovered the game and started to grow, I would of course love to start season 2 at the same time as the others, but that would take the whole season 1 content away from me, which isn't worth it. I would rather enjoy all the content than just skip to the latest. It like watching a series, you don't skip the episodes if you want to enjoy the whole experience. Additionnally, it wouldn't be fair for season 0 players to make them wait my whole season to merge the servers, so I like it as it is now because there is no convincing solution.
@@srnght fair point indeed. Its a very unusual situation for a standard gotcha game but this isn't a standard gotcha game. I guess I'll have to adjust my expectations. I would have still rather take the hit on season 1 along with everyone else on my server to progress to season 2 early. We would have all shared the same experience and still been caught up on content from here on out. No one time rewards you may or may not get from a season are worth being 65 days behind on community events or CC content. It just seems like a way to instantly divide the progress and experience of the community. I may be missing something here but it seems odd to stager your servers throughout several seasonal time frames. Catch everyone up jan 1 with season 2 all at once and its done. Everyone's on the same page from then on. No more need for disruptions to time frames. Like I said, maybe I'm missing something. I can't think of anything worth being two months behind the community that brought me into the game. Keep in mind that you are not playing with season 0 players on your server. Nor am I. Nor can we keep up with Wales and krakens on the servers we are playing on. We would all be reset on our servers to season 2 day 1. Only those like me that spent money would have an advantage. Like I said, I don't understand how you can want to restart a whole season just after starting one. Moreover, waiting january would have the first players wait a whole month, and the last players skip a whole month of content. It would be a bad solution for both parties, and I am not fond of solving problems by creating other problems.
I'm starting on a server that is season one now, makes more sense now that it's 2 months later, as I would be ridiculously behind if I started and had to go into season 3 while everyone else had 2 resets behind them. I'd be bottom for like 2 seasons and have to spend to even close catch up, seems stupid in season 1 and 2 but they had to start it then for new players like me coming in 3 months later and needing to start fresh
One thing I like is at the start of season 2 for a limited amount of time you can use 10 heliote die to get a guaranteed legendary and those scrolls : me pls be Caspar pls be Caspar lol
yeah some of us have said it would be nice if they could give us like a Bag that transfers stuff to next season and we could fill with X pieces of gear to carry over
I was irritated at the concept of a reset for gear and everything else...but it's literally like getting a new game...and you get to bring in your old champs? That's a win.
I dunno there are some things that still don't make sense. Is it confirmed that the Alliance will be break and we will start again in a new one from Lv1 and loose all that progress? I mean if Alliance didn't break then we will then stay on the same servers, which would make sense since each server new season is different. Some server batches just got 1 or 2 servers. The thing is that Season 0 was a Beta and not a real season so I guess thats why we had to pick servers, make characters etc. Well we will see but it will be a bummer if each season we start on a different server, different allaince and we won't be playing with the same people :(
Every reset you have to pick a new server, I show that in the video. Alliances are server based. I talk about starting on same server with your friends for that reason. You'll need to start a new alliance
Great video but I really need to know is there any set backs to starting on a server that was already made? From what I can see it's artifacts which can be a spend cap is there anything I am missing?
if you don't start on a server that's new, you'll miss the 6-day reset event that allows to build and reset heroes as many times as you want. that alone I think is crazy to miss. you can use the time to build the baby teams to farm each thing needed to work on who you're going to stick with, and get some time to figure out who you actually like.

I was unsure with investing money or starting again and then invest, but it does not seem like I will miss much not starting again. I've done the reset period just seen people at like lvl 50 and I'm 25!
@@ampyourmind1505 you sure it's the server chat and not global? it defaults to show global. You can tell by looking at the rankings for things too or like... go to arena and see rankings there
@ivyleegaminggacha I've never played a game that has done this. So many games have seasons that do not take away everything you earned in the previous season. I admit that I didn't pay attention if they had been mentioning that this was going to happen, I would have quit if I had known. Playing for hours in the exp dungeon, hours on end farming shards all to be taken away? I also play call of duty mobile, and I can't even fathom having to level up all the guns I have maxed out AGAIN. Absolutely stupid and a waste of time.

If I start watching breaking bad on season five that doesn't make it season one for me, and beta content ist an official season, that's prerelease content. Everyone NEW will start on Season 2 if those servers are open. Apparently you aren't aware of much with S0, as it was called, as that was a full season of content and we are still using those same accounts, with the same story we went through, same bosses fought, same rewards for starting Season 1. It was a FULL season. I know.. I played it! The GAME always says Dice in a plural way; I used to say "die" for plural all season - I've always said it that way; English is my first language and all. More recently I've just said Dice even when plural because that's how the game puts it everywhere, again, even when plural and it felt weird purposefully saying "die" instead
I would disagree, myself. It sucks when you play a game and get so far, accomplish so much then have just about all your progress undone and not by your own choice…. Like playing FF7 original version (ps1 ) and getting both Vincent, Yuffie; all your toons to lvl100, grinding and got 2-3 five star Knights of the Round summons and maxed all the other materia you planned to use, made a save that night, planning to beat Setheroth the next day due to the time and-- Next morning your entire file was erased/ deleted… 😨😭 Starting over is something that should and is AlWAYS preferred by many as a *choice* NOT something forced upon you. I won’t complain about the eventual reset as, since I know, I can just remove the game and not play thus not having to worry about it- or as I have chosen to just keep playing and deal with it. *But I find it understandable that people WOULD take verbal issue with it!* I understand very well. And btw I am a strong believer in trying to look at things from another’s point of view! HOWEVER… Thinking people should just accept everything they’ve done and busted their buns to do basically being undone (all but a mere 20-30%) without any choice or say in the matter… That’s a way of thinking I can’t see; it’s in my opinion an unfair expectation…
The irony of this comment is that CoD & Battlefield have seasons, but they don't reset your guns at the start of a new season. I've been playing games for over 30 years and have never played a game that resets all of your progress intentionally. No, I have not played every single game that came out, but I have played quite a few and have never experienced it. A seasonal model should consist of new content each season, not reset the work from the previous season.
Make 10-15min videos, but more concise and organized. This could have been 4 videos of good info. Instead it is all lost in 40 mins of random points and stories.

Why do they reset auto battle tickets to 0. They don't give an advantage.

I went into a rage when I logged in and saw everything I had worked for gone or reset to level 1. I uninstalled and have no urge to even go back.
