I had the privilege of fellowshipping David and of being an official witness at his baptism. As a former full time missionary he is what we would call a golden investigator though I have never met someone quite like him. It has given me a fresh appreciation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Watch this space.

I love David and his videos and I am reminded of Esther. He was born for a day such as this. The Lord saved him to come forward at this time for this purpose! He might not have been as effective had he found the church even 20 years ago! His testimony is powerful! He will be a Paul to the evangelicals for sure! Hallelujah! Hurrah for Israel!
I loved hearing David's story. I can't imagine searching for the church for so long and being basically led away from it by others. Welcome Brother Alexander! I respect your love for the Lord and your determination. So much ahead!
He is all the more converted because of the problems/challenges. He would have had to face them sooner or later, and it's better to resolve them before being baptised than drift away temporarily after making covenants.
I'm grateful for the Bible. It helped my ancestors, who loved the Bible and Jesus Christ, be able to seek for authority. When they met the missionaries in Denmark they knew right away it was true. They left all they had and trekked a strange land and helped establish southern Utah and never wavered from the gospel. The Bible helps us to see truth. Wow! This was absolutely wonderful! I'm so grateful to be a part of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ, and loved hearing this amazing man's testimony!
I am thankful for this new member. Having been Pentecostal before being baptized into the Church I relate to his testimony. Pentecostals are knowledgeable in the Bible, the worship by the spirit this brother reminds me of my experiences The scripture that hooked me was Ezekiel 37 about the stick of Judah and of Joseph. I asked what does it have to do with me? That changed my life.
I remember being taught and saying to the missionaries, “You mean there is a church that actually teaches this?” I was blown away that it was “The Mormons” that taught what was missing in my Christian experience.
Love it. I had about given up on churches. There being so many all teaching it differently. But the Lord apparently saw my worth and put me in contact with this Church. Joined when I was 25 and went on a mission a year later. Still have an awfully hard time convincing anyone of the truth. Thank you sir!
Bless you ! It’s hard to teach those who choose not to hear or believe! That’s when we rely on God and Holy Ghost that they might open their hearts, but still love them and still be friends in Christ.. sometimes those are hard things st times.. God bless you and your efforts!
Isn’t it!!! One man is actually searching for truth with a sincere, open heart. The other is just comparing from a logical, non-spiritual point of view. When you truly open your heart, the Holy Ghost can testify to you.
Amen on that. I’ve never felt that Pastor Jeff is sincere as he makes sure he preaches about his evangelical viewpoints to debunk our doctrine. He says it ever so subtle but I peeped how cunning he is. He’s a great person but my spirit tells me he is not genuine or sincere. He knows that we prefer not to be called “mormons” or “mormon church”, but he still does it and I can’t get past that as it is disrespectful. When he was doing commentary on our Come Follow Me Program he spent majority of his time preaching his evangelical beliefs and downgrading the lessons. He even refused to even refer to the KJV with our CFM program and overshadowed the Truth of our Gospel teaching s while emphasizing the evangelical talking points as the last word.
I can see your point of view but respectfully disagree that Pastor Jeff is in any way trying to be divisive. He’s touring the Saratoga Springs Temple soon and has never been disrespectful. I would say, the differences are a lot to take in and he’s doing an amazing job of engaging the church and being vulnerable yet showing his understanding as well. There are plenty of “members” who are less Christ like than he has shown. My hope is he gains a testimony and becomes a powerful voice to Christianity.
@@doxdog I’m not saying he’s divisive. I’m speaking from what he have presented. I just don’t feel like he presents the full truth of our teachings, doctrines and beliefs and it’s obvious to me he wants his evangelical viewpoint to have more weight to be the answers to salvation. He always counter what we teach and water it down. Don’t get me wrong…He is a great speaker. He’s a gentle soul and very subtle but I can’t help but feel he’s being disrespectful when he repeatedly doesn’t use the correct name of the church. When it’s obvious with common ground with shared beliefs, he glosses over it. The same emphasis is not given to our benefit. With all the exposure he’s had since from the beginning, he have not shown any acceptance of our doctrine. His evangelical roots are deep rooted and he gives a mountain of reasonings why. I call it throwing shade. 🙏🏽❤️ I wish the members he brings on his panel to have discussions are well versed in our doctrine. It would give him greater understanding and truths. Somehow his discussions are with the members that leaves me shaking my head and I get second hand embarrassment as they mistakenly misrepresent the Gospel teachings with their opinions.
I was baptized on 8/13/2023 into the Church of Christ of Latter day Saints. Like David, I am 68 years young, and former Church of Christ converted to Catholic when I married in 1973. I just discovered Cwic, and discovered David Alexander 2 weeks ago! Thank you for this podcast!
I also stumbled onto David’s channel just a bit before his baptism. What a great guy. I forwarded the link to his TH-cam page to Pastor Jeff from Hello, Saints - as I thought David might be a great mediator for Jeff between the Evangelical and LDS worlds, and how he was able to overcome some of those things Jeff sometimes gets hung up on. Glad you were able to connect with David too, Greg. Love your channel and your insights.
I think that's probably true. What is certainly true is that while Jeff wants to learn as much as he can about the LDS faith, he's no humble seeker. And it's naive of any LDS person to think that he is. Jeff is perfectly happy with who he is--a faithful Evangelical pointing out positives in LDS members and negatives in LDS beliefs. And he does it as meekly as he can.
Wow Dave 38:44, I am loving listening to your testimony. Your testimony alone will bring hundreds of the children of our Heavenly Father to light and fullness of the Gospel. I converted to the gospel 15 years ago. Now I called to be a Bishop and I being serving for 5 months now as Bishop. David I know the Lord need you in gathering of Israel and leading His Church😊❤❤❤
Really enjoyed his conversion and hearing about his life. He is going to be a very powerful missionary for Christ. Thanks Greg for your outreach to believers and nonbelievers and shining a light on what is going on in this crazy world. The great accuser is very busy and we need to be more vigilant with what is real truth.
I can't thank you enough Greg for your videos! I am an inactive member of the church due to some awful personal choice I've made and continue to make one being drinking alcohol. I feel completely unclean to go to church being around great spiritual people. So I get my spiritual fill through you and general conference which I'm excited for next week. Your videos and guest you bring on help slowly build my testimony again. I pray one day I will be spiritually clean enough to take the sacrament and ultimately return to the temple.
Really love you brother. Hang on and do not forget Christ loves you and suffered for my sins and for yours as well. All those in your ward are sinners. My guess is they will love you w/o judging.
@@rschow1747 I really appreciate that! My ward is great they always check up on me and I actually feel they truly care. I have the ward missionaries over for dinner every couple months. So blessed to have great member near me that care.
I hope you enjoyed conference today. I’m so pleased you have good people loving and supporting you. I support you and your efforts to reach your highest spiritual goals, especially returning to the temple. I never feel more of God’s love than I do in His sacred house. I know this great blessing is in your future. God wants to give us EVERYTHING including His power ( through Christ )! This is the generous God we worship. Praying for you right now. Keep going! Expect MIRACLES! ☀️
Outstanding!! I know this brother's sense of urgency and excitement. You literally want to "shout from your rooftop" and "shake everyone AWAKE"!!! That is what conversion does. I am so happy for him! Now it's about standing firm, growing and RETAINING the conversion. That goes for everyone as we should know. Yes, we tend to take so much for granted. "My Bible found his wife." Love it! So true!
WOW! I am snowed in my house today and am not able to make it to church. With next week being General Conference, Fast Sunday is today. Watching this on this snowy sabbath morning really filled my heart with his energetic, educated, enthusiastic and faithful testimony. I have many people I love who have been put in that fog. Power comes through authority, which is given by God. Man does not have the power to give himself authority to work in His name. This was the best articulation of this I have heard in a long time, as it comes to bridging a gap with our brothers and sisters in Christ. I hope missionaries use this video as a rebuttal in teaching situations. May God bless him and use him for His glory. ❤
I came across this guy a few days ago, and im just blown away how many things this guy knew that I didnt when I received the witness of The Book of Mormon. On the one hand not knowing and discovering the pattern gives knowledge of a pattern that is experiential. Spending more time then ive been alive on the Earth seeking out Truth, gives one cause to know it when they see it.
Thank you so much. You have enlightened me especially Joshua, Moses and our beloved prophet Russell M. Nelson, being 😊98, etc. what a great testimony, you are truly one of the elect gathered in the last days to prepare for the Lord’s return. Thank you so much and your testimony of our apostles and prophets. I was born and raised LDS. Thank you and God bless.💕💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼👍
David's story is much like my own. I read the Book of Mormon along with the Bible to learn where there was conflicts - but there were no conflicts! Reading the Book of Mormon was the greatest decision of my life!
Wow! Loved this❤ I love how his study of the gospel of John led him to the restored church. Both of you are correct in voicing that many Latter-Day Saints don’t understand the Bible as they should. I’m so grateful that the Church has the Come Follow Me program which teaches a four year curriculum from ALL of the standard works. An understanding of the Plan of Salvation is I found the answers I needed to accept the gospel in its fullness.
Amazing story and conversion. It’s not only unfortunate that he didn’t have the restored gospel for so long but it’s just as unfortunate we didn’t have him. God has a plan and we need hi David’s experience and testimony at this time more than ever.
I love this man have watched all his videos in 3 days. I want more. What a testimony wow, I'm so happy you're one of us now brother David. Thank you Gregg for such an amazing pod cast ❤
That was refreshing! I am also a convert who previous to joining would mock and ridicule the church. This was a wonderful reminder of how wonderful it is to find the truth
Watching this from the Philippines and I am a latter-day saint. Your conversion David just sealed the truthfulness of Jesus true Gospel. I can feel how happy, ecstatic he is after 47 years of being hungry..... Hungry for the truth. I am so happy that you opened your heart and let the Lord Jesus and the Holy Ghost enter. Your testimony is so great! Haha, funny when you said the bible found its wife😍 Thank you for this video truly eye opening to a lot of people even the members of how lucky we are to have the restored and true Gospel here on earth. The only true church here on earth. I am so Proud and grateful.
It's wonderful to see all of these pastors who are experienced in communicating and leading people in spiritual things, come to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ through the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. More and more of them are doing that. Exciting.
What a wonderful testimony. I'm actually excited for this good brother to get to the temple and enter into the fullness of the blessings of the priesthood. D&C 84:20
THIS GUYS IS AMAZING TO HAVE FIGURED THIS OUT ON HIS OWN. BEING A MEMBER ALL MY LIFE, I HAVE BEEN TAUGHT THE SCRIPTURES FROM THOSE IN THE CHURCH. IT IS FUN TO HEAR IT FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS ONLY BEEN A MEMBER FOR 6 DAYS! AMAZING! YOU HAVE STRENGTHENED MY TESTIMONY, THANK YOU BROTHER! I DID MEET A MAN ON MY MISSION YEARS AGO WHO HAD BEEN TUGHT BY THE SPIRIT OF WHAT CHRIST CHURCH WOULD LOOK LIKE AND WAS TOLD HE WOULD KNOW IT WHEN HE FOUND IT. THIS IS CHRIST CHURCH HERE APON THE EARTH. I LOVE MY WARD. AND I'M EXCITED TO HEAR FROM THE SPEAKERS AT GENERAL CONFERENCE NEXT WEEK.
This guys knowledge of the Bible helped him so much. I am so glad that I discovered his channel and like you I’ve been watching his videos and sharing them on my own Facebook page to help spread the message. He’s going to be a wonderful member.
I love his testimony! David Alexander testimony touch my heart so much! I’m a convert too but I didn’t live the gospel until much later and now trying my best to live the gospel and have been so blessed because of the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Yes it bother me so much that people don’t know much about LDS and try their best to trash this true religion on earth. If we are an a Cult then why am I feeling the spirit from the lord and have been guided by him many many times when I need help. If this is an a cult why the church is growing and growing all over the world and nothing can stop it. That is because it is the lord’s church and Satan can’t stop it. I have so much to say but am going to stop here for now. May the lord bless all of you that is sharing the gospel on this Chanel or others. ♥️🙏🙏♥️ Much love 💕
I've watched all his videos. I love this guy, too. I wish I was one of those Sister missionaries who taught him! I believe he's the "first" of many Evangelicals that will be coming to the church. President Nelson is preparing the way for them. God bless him.
My amazing daughter was part of the companionship that taught David! Hearing his story and progression from her every week (as well as hers as a brand new missionary) has been the biggest highlight of the last 4 months!
Thank you for sharing your testimony, David! It is wonderful to see the light in you. I am so happy you found the truth and answers you have been searching for. Welcome to the fold. 💜
I LOVE his enthusiasm!! I converted my last year in HS in 1975. I had to wait until I was 18 cuz my mother was really against me getting baptized. I had that same excitement and enthusiasm and it’s so refreshing to hear him and remember I was like that too. Although I know the Church is true I have lost that pure joy that he has.
You can get that "pure joy" back again. Do the basic things that bring it: read Scriptures, attend Church and accept calls to serve, pray sincerely for spiritual help from Above! Prepare to attend the Temple and serve your ancestors with Temple work for them. Have Hope!
I found him a week ago, and subscribed to his channel. He says a lot of things I've been thinking for years. I see his channel blowing up very soon. His scriptural knowledge is impressive, and he has a very positive and magnetic personality.
I just came upon his videos probably about the time he started posting them, but I didn't realize it was from the start. Love this guy and his enthusiasm for the gospel! His story is much like mine, but I found the truth much sooner. May God bless his efforts! And thank you, Greg, for having him on!

Loved the quote “My Bible finally has found his wife”. Wait until you can feel the presence of the lord found in the holy temple. And all nations will come to the mountain of the lord and learn of his ways. Sending you love from vernal Utah. Thank you for your testimony brother Alexander
I was incredibly touched. I rarely if ever comment on TH-cam but feel I should here. I just love this man’s enthusiasm with the brethren of the church. I hope we can absorb some of that as we get ready to listen to them in a week. Let’s also not forget the beautiful Sisters we have to lead us and teach us as well.
This is one of the most important interviews you have done Greg! You need to get Dr Lyn Ridenhour on your show. A Baptist minister with a firm testimony of the BOM.
Yes, we preach of Christ...the gospel, but how else could he define his past, but calling them evangelicals . In my language the word "gospel" is translated evankeliumi.
@@lafrancehannele6884 oh, I'm not arguing with him. Just an observation that is consistent with his new found respect. I think Joseph Smith actually defined "evangelist" quite differently than the common Christian usage. I believe he said an evangelist was a patriarch .
Amazing story- a great example of someone who is thirsting and hungering for truth! Thank you for sharing!!!!! I really love this guy and his intelligent conversion ❤
This man has incredible insights, and has been prepared by the hand of God to accept the gospel at this time in his life. How many thousands of other individuals like him or just waiting to grasp onto the iron rod?
How refreshing to listen to this testimony, it reminds me how I felt when I first joined the church. We are so blessed to continuing revelation and living prophets amongst us!
I found David last week too. Share his story with several friends. They love his perspective. Like some apostles wrote to the Jew and others the gentile. He writes to our evangelical friends. I love those folks. I love their zeal and devotion.
Like others who listened to this and are lifetime members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I found this man’s testimony and recital of life experiences so invigorating. I’m curious to know how he ended up in Australia.

Such a glaring difference between this man and pastor Jeff. You can feel his sincerity through all of his videos.
I’ve felt Pastor Jeff is very sincere. They can both be.
I wish the members he brings on his panel to have discussions are well versed in our doctrine.
Welcome!
Great ideas! I think Jeff is trying to talk LDS into evangelism!
@@briscocounty2810 True but I trust in his somewhat small humble look into the church and the scriptures because he's doing it the best way he can
@Brisco County you are 100% right. Took the words right out of my mouth
I’m so grateful you didn’t give up David. Your story swells my heart with joy. Thank you for sharing.
It’s so refreshing to see that he is so excited to have found a pearl of great price, he gave everything he had for it.
What a great testimony!
I think you will be.
Come as you are. We are all sinners. Coming as you as are is your first strp
You’re right Greg, I love this guy!
Great conversion!I salute you brother for your testimony.
Great, thank you for hosting David. He is a bright light bringing unto Christ those stuck in the mists of darkness. Thank you David!!!
I have no words to describe how powerful this new converter but in tears filling his new found restoration.
I DO love this guy! Thank you for introducing him.
Congratulations! That is fantastic.
I joined in 1973, and have served 3 church missions.
Love your story and testimony. Keep it up!!!
Congratulations, David. Many blessings of God upon you.
Amazing story and conversion. It’s not only unfortunate that he didn’t have the restored gospel for so long but it’s just as unfortunate we didn’t have him. God has a plan and we need hi David’s experience and testimony at this time more than ever.
"BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO FINDS THE TRUE CHURCH IN THIS LIFE"
These testimonies strengthen my own. ❤❤
I love this man have watched all his videos in 3 days. I want more. What a testimony wow, I'm so happy you're one of us now brother David. Thank you Gregg for such an amazing pod cast ❤
I love this! What an awesome conversion story! Keep the faith! Grow your testimony!
what a wonderful spirit. I am glad Davie kept searching until he found us!!!
That was refreshing! I am also a convert who previous to joining would mock and ridicule the church. This was a wonderful reminder of how wonderful it is to find the truth
This brother is a breath of fresh air. He reveals Evangelical Christianity for what it is.
Haha, funny when you said the bible found its wife😍
Thank you for this video truly eye opening to a lot of people even the members of how lucky we are to have the restored and true Gospel here on earth.
@@KB-nv4bl what's his channel pls
Much love 💕
Fantastic conversion story! Welcome to the old ship Zion, we are so glad you’re here! You should teach seminary and help the youth learn the Bible 😁
Of course, our Family refers to is as The Old Shipp Zion! (ha,ha)
@@jamiedevereaux2193 What a blessing to your daughter and companion and David's ward!
Thank you for sharing your testimony, David! It is wonderful to see the light in you. I am so happy you found the truth and answers you have been searching for. Welcome to the fold. 💜
Love this guy! Love his zeal!
Have Hope!
What a wonderful, faith-promoting story. I hope that I never take for granted that which some people starve for all their lives.
Agreed.
I found him a week ago, and subscribed to his channel. He says a lot of things I've been thinking for years. I see his channel blowing up very soon. His scriptural knowledge is impressive, and he has a very positive and magnetic personality.
An incredible testimony. Well informed, eloquent, and his discussion of authority is something so many in our church forget about.
Thank you so much for sharing your story!! I love hearing how people gain a testimony and join the church Of JC LDS. ❤
What a great pod cast. So refreshing to be reminded of what we have.
That is how I felt.
This is such an amazing story!! I joined the church when I was 17 and there is no day I don't thank God for bringing me to the truth!🥰
🥰 What year were you baptized?

I just came upon his videos probably about the time he started posting them, but I didn't realize it was from the start. Love this guy and his enthusiasm for the gospel! His story is much like mine, but I found the truth much sooner. May God bless his efforts! And thank you, Greg, for having him on!
You’re welcome.
I've been hoping you would have him on!!! I've binged everything he's done and I love him so much!!! Thanks so much for interviewing him!!! ❤️
What a great and uplifting story! I watched the entire video today and I am thankful for the blessing of hearing David’s story lifted my spirit and warmed my heart. Thanks 👍
Wow! Love this guy and his faith in looking for the truth! Most would have given up! So happy he finally found the truth!! I'm so excited to listen to these wonderful men he is talking about!!
I found David's videos about a week ago and have truly been blessed by his testimony and knowledge and life experiences. As a life long member he has made me realize how ungrateful I have been for what I have. I respect him so much and thank him for sharing. He has strengthend my testimony, for which I thank him and pray the Lord will continue to bless and use him.
This is one of the most I retesting testimonies I’ve ever heard. Well spoken and pure hearted. Sweet man, welcome to our family/church!
This was so awesome! I wish everyone could listen to this wonderful brother. I love these discussions, these conversion stories.
He is so right, I felt the spirit stronger than ever in the presence of Pres Thomas Monson when I was in the mtc
These are the most beautiful words and thank you for the inspiration! Thank you Brother David for sharing your words of Truth power and faith!
Loved the quote “My Bible finally has found his wife”. Wait until you can feel the presence of the lord found in the holy temple.
And all nations will come to the mountain of the lord and learn of his ways. Sending you love from vernal Utah. Thank you for your testimony brother Alexander
Enjoy this guy's life travel seeking for truth and at last found it; he's well versed in the scriptures which assisted in his search. Well done!
LDS are evangelical. Probably the most evangelical, meaning filled with the spirit of evangelism.
Yes, every member a missionary ,right?
@@franciegwina missionary and a witness.
@@lafrancehannele6884 yeah I looked it up. D&C Sec. 107:39-53.
Amazing story- a great example of someone who is thirsting and hungering for truth! Thank you for sharing!!!!! I really love this guy and his intelligent conversion ❤
I have been watching him and love his channel. He is a breath of fresh air in a world full of hate and envy. I so love his story of conversation.
Greg. Thank you for conducting this video and posting. We appreciate all you are doing!
David is one of the nicest and honest people around
This man has incredible insights, and has been prepared by the hand of God to accept the gospel at this time in his life. How many thousands of other individuals like him or just waiting to grasp onto the iron rod?
He is amazing, thank you for talking to him.
How refreshing to listen to this testimony, it reminds me how I felt when I first joined the church. We are so blessed to continuing revelation and living prophets amongst us!
I am so glad you had him on. He is for sure part of my studies. He is just the most beautiful human being ever!!!!
What a delightful laughter in the face of own heart openness
Hallelujah!!! A mirror of my conversion
This story is worth a movie.
I love David's enthusiasm and point of view!
