When it comes to both ordering, and getting replacement parts off of Timex, forget it, because you won't be able to order the parts, and have it sent to you, by mail post. I require a new crown, and stem for a Timex watch, which is easy to replace, by just about anyone, if they know how to do the job. It's really quite simple. I tried ordering the replacement parts (because mine broke off at the stem), and Timex told me bluntly, that they do not send out replacement parts. If you want any watch fixed, you have to send the watch to them to repair, or throw the watch away. I was quoted a repair price of $220 USD for the repair, and that's without currency exchange, from my currency, to US currency. The watch in question, can be bought new for around $78 USD, so why would I send the watch away at the repair price quoted me. Other than the crown and stem needing replacement, this watch works just fine, and keeps good time. I did however buy another new watch, which was the same as the one that is broken (because I do like the watch), but I made a pack this time round, that if this watch fails, and doesn't last for a lengthy amount of use time. I will never buy another Timex watch. If things like crowns break off often enough, they are not worth the money of buying them, specially at the repair prices they seek for the repair. Your on trial now Timex. either you take a licking, and keep on ticking properly, or you never get me to buy another watch from you.
Sorry sir for the trouble you faced with timex... But I don't work in timex, I have my own shop...And yes 200+$ for just replacing crown and stem is ridiculous... Anyway, have a great day 🙂....
Nice repair, it is quite complex movement for a quartz watch. I didn't know that there are Epson movements inside Timex watches (probably not all watches). AFAIK, Epson owns Citizen as a brand, isn't that true? They probably use Epson name on out-of-house movements.
Thanks for your valuable comment sir, I think Seiko is the one who owns Epson, and miyota is part of citizen🙂. It's been 3 years, I have been working on watches, and sometimes I have seen miyota 2035 in Timex too🙂
With the help of your video I could reassemble an Epson AL32A movement. I had it all messed up but with the help of this video it is OK again. Thanks!
You are welcome.

Thanks for watching my video 🙂
I don't think a 5$ QUARTZ movement needs to be serviced like that...
why don't u wash your expensive movement in a dishwasher rich-boy?
