Thank you very much for your video. I have an old Folex with this movement, that I have had for many years, and I'm now in the process of giving a service, and i had a spring jump out while removing it, and I didn't see where it came from and I came across your video. It really helped at lot and now I know where the spring is supposed to be :)
i am quite sure that most watch tutors here are talents, they at least got steady hands, sharp eye sight and great endurance . Tiny parts like screws always jumping here and there, servicing work stops at once when i lost one of them~~~luckily it's my hobby only
Thank you so much for your great and clear tutorial. Original Mingchu 2813 though cheap but runs well, yet there are cheaper copies exist (less than $10), so be aware
Thanks for watching my video 🙂... What fascinates me, even though these calibers are cheap and has no finish, but after service they run pretty well...
I bought 2 cheap 2813 movements for some really crap old fake watches to play about with that were given to me when I gave my dad another watch for his birthday and he offloaded these to me ( it was cheaper to try new movements I thought, than trying to get hairsprings that probably didnt even match to a 30 yr old chinese movement "sbizz") This is where my problems just got worse :D The stems a different size to orignal watch so no chance of just refit and I seem to be forgoing the spring action in the original stem. The face locating feet where in opposite where I really needed them. Had to remove them, and couldn't really find any easy way to refit but did see a video about this which would require new dial feet anyway. One of the assemblies was crap date doesnt properly circulate. Both movements I made rookie errors and on removing stem it was out of position so need to be reset so it can use all 3 positions. So neither able to be used though 1 faulty and too late to return though. Tried to take one apart to see thinking it would be like other videos just removing auto movement but I didn't watch this one first to realise that actually the whole movement comes apart here :D Although this is the one with the bad date wheel anyway faulty so perhaps at least thats a thing. At least I managed to work out refitting the calendar/wind/time set position back but no concillation but perhaps using this video can manage to put the movement back together :D Amateur fun at least it hasn't really cost me much, 20 + post/fees from alixp
GREAT, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ( TIME CONSUMING ALING THE LID ' TOP' EVEN MOVE THE WHEEL TRAIN WITHOUT THE STEM !!!. I CALL THE 2813 THE HEADACHE !!! REPLACE FOR 8215... THE BEST.
Hello sir i bought fake rolex submariner date few days back and i started noticing that its not keeping the time after few hours after manual winding, even after i wear it continuously. I also now able hear some rattling noise inside it. Could you please give me any solution or your review on it? Thanks
i need your help friend, i just bought this same movement in a replica from dhgate and right from the box it doesnt work. i wind by hand and by shaking it and the seconds hand moves for a few seconds and then stops ? i wind over 40 times and it runs for about 30 seconds and then stops again..it wants to run but then just stops out of nowhere...any ideas friend?? thanks
@@watchwizard gues what friend!? i got bored and recently bought some oilers and some mobius, ive heard these chinese movements come with no oil...so i tediously took apart the movement best i could and oiled as much as possible, as soon as i oiled the escapement wheel she started running and hasnt slowed or stopped since...yah for me. glad i didnt give up so easily. lol
@@watchwizard Impressive 😲 What do you think about miyota 8200 series??8203 etc. From my view based on your videos and others who deal with 8200 Is that they are very simple (monobridge) for example with less moving parts. So what can go wrong 🤔🤔 😊😊 Thanks for your time to answer the comments 😙😙

Ha! Even you cheated at putting the bridge back (10:00) by a cut in the film. You didn't show it. How long did it take you? 3 days? I have tried so many times and I cannot get the pivots to line up. Even placing the bridge causes them to jump out. At $15 each it's not worth my time to continue. Horrible design.
Hahaha😅 ,Yes I cheated, So while training the wheels, first try to get 'paul winding wheel and reduction wheel pinions' in their respective jewels.. Once they are in, put one screw of their side and keep it little loose, so you can train escape wheel... And use hands while training, because its quite difficult to put bridge back in this movement. Hope its help😁...
I worked on a couple of these as training. If you can get these assembled you can assemble anything 😄. I found it easier to get the escape train pivots in their jewels and put one screw loosely. Then help the winding gears in place. You need 3 hands because you need to push the click so they fall in place. Horrible design😵

Placing the bridge on 5 wheels at once with a spring in the middle is one of the hardest things I have attempted to do. Is there a trick to it?

Thank you so much. I have wanted to see that for a long time. Does it matter where you set the date wheel when reassemble?
Nope🙂
