Keep Alan coming back he has some good stories. That's the cool thing about these types of events. Your always going to have the big dogs who spend obscene amounts of money and time to be at the very top and the you'll always have room in there somewhere where more normal people can have fun and compete at reasonable prices. Its not all about speed it's about having a good time while doing it. I bet all your motorcycles combined don't equal the amount of money that went into the 700mph car. That's perfectly fine because having fun is more important than going bankrupt.

It’s so cool to hear great enthusiast stories that are relatable to the “average joe” we can’t all afford Ferrari or Mclaren etc... but we COULD afford an oil pan, some zip ties, a sheet of plywood and a pit bike:) thanks to you VIN WIKI, my racing dreams aren’t over👍

In my high school we had a motorcycle that we built. We 3D printed the body and I helped build it. We took it to the bonneville salt flats and broke land speed records with it. I’ve been in his shoes

@@Johnny-tq9no I love mine I bought it new in 04 it has 32000 miles on it. They have their quirks but I wouldn't hesitate to ride mine anywhere.

@@Johnny-tq9no no it's been great. I replaced belt and cam sensor on it and everything else has been changed for aesthetics or performance. I'm also a cert. Buell tech

Back in the early 90's, I was going about 100 across Nebraska. When I got passed by a older mack. So I decided I would not let that happen😡
At 118 he was still pulling away. He told me if i cant do 128 ill never pass him. We settled in at 115 or so for about 45 minutes. Every time I drove across I-80. I wonder if they would let 80,000 lbs vehicle race
