I noticed the title of this video says UX-15, but in the video it talks about the UX-6? What is the difference? I love this camera, and have 2 of them. Is there a new version now?
When this product first came out, it was known as the 2016 UX-6 Scout. The manufacturer's have made several design improvements to the original model , the most important being "Truspect Motion Detection". So the newest version is the 2021 UX-15 Scout. The older 2016 UX-6 only recorded continuously, and the 32gb internal memory was used up in 4 to 6 hours, at which point the camera would begin erasing older files to make room for newer ones. So at any given time if you checked the camera you would only have video going back 6 hours max. With the new UX-15 Motion Detection version, the camera only records when movement is present (when someone is actually in the field of view). So the new UX-15 Scout allows you to see video over the last several DAYS or even WEEKS, instead of just having the last few hours recorded. Also, the CCD and optics are improved to give more accurate color reproduction. If you do have the older UX-6 camera, I do recommend picking up the latest UX-15. We made something similar to this in the Work Space labs at my university. Only difference is that instead of recording video, it copies the files of the electronic that it is connected to.

anonymous Obviously you have never worked on electrical plugs. I'm a registered electrician. I have come into people's houses that have put thier own plugs in and have installed them upside down. Also in older outlets their was no polarity. You could plug things in any way you want. Ac does not need one negative and positive wire. That is Dc. Also many people will jam a plug into a socket any which way they want and wear out the polarity part of the plug. It is just a little a piece of plastic that keeps you from plugging things any which way. When this is worn out or broken any plug can go in. As I said in my earlier statement. Video can be reversed very easily also.

what's funny, is as you were standing in front of the bed with your bag I was thinking...this dude looks like a Pilot. And then you pull the headset out of the bag. priceless.
That couch is awesome. In addition to being fully powered with full recline capabilities (including electric headrest adjustment) You can fold the middle seat section down to reveal a nice wide cup-holder area complete with A/C power outlets and USB charging ports. You can't see it in the video, but the center top portion also folds up and has little rocker switches with nightlights, similar to what you would find in the roof of a car, so you can turn those on at night to see what you are doing on the cup holder tray area. It also has large armrests at each side that fold up to reveal huge storage areas for magazines, remote controls, etc. Plus, the cup holders on each opposite side have blue LEDs that you can turn on to light up which not only look cool as heck, but allow you to easily plant that beer back in the right spot in the dark when you are watching a movie. The controls are touch controls, like a touchscreen. No mechanical switches. You just touch the backlit button to operate whatever it is you want. We got it at Rife's. Yes if someone puts it in upside down just flip the video right side up with a video editor.
