Yeah these look the goods Rob , I'm past sleeping on the ground as well, look perfect to put up quick even in the dark eh, great review ,thanks for sharing.
How far does that zipper at the head end up? Does it stop at the top or go all the way around so you can have no fly obstructing your view and re zip it before bed?
We have 4 of them sleep in rain, the tip is to use guide rope at foot end of bed to pull fly tight so water doesn't pool in the middle. If it pools up it will weep through.
@@robincoker225 Hi Did you find with the fly on the oztrail , it gave bad condensation. Because it does not breathe as well as the material on the oztent.?
It does condensate in cold weather as do all tents but as to compare to the bunker I can't say never slept in one. But the oztrail has a vent at the feet end which can be pegged out and the condensation will roll down and out and not on you.
@@nathangalia2028 like i mentioned just a thin mattress to stop cold coming up from underneath and if you have the right sleeping bag all good. slept in them zero degrees no probs.

@@robincoker225 YES off the ground, away from the ants!!! I had the worst night one time I put my swag down with the ants ahahaha
Haven't swagged until you sleep on a ants nest
Hey mate, have you tested this in a lot of rain? Do you still use one of these?

Great review, thanks!
Can put self inflating mattress in it
Sure can
These Oztrail stretcher tents are a lot cheaper than the Oztent bunker. Did you look at both and decide it was not worth the extra for the oztent????
The only real difference is the bunker fly material is a lot heavier but have been in rain with the oztrail all good and a third of the price.
