I always find the mattress in any swag just not comfy enough for my 110kg body. I just bought a cheap self inflating mat that is only 25mm thick and slide it under the mattress. Gives that little bit extra cushioning

How would you fasten the swag to the stretcher if you had high winds?

I guess I'd try a guy rope from the ground attached to each corner of the stretcher, then with some small luggage type straps through the rings at each corner of the Crashpad and tie them to the stretcher. Could make for an interesting night in high winds......

Hi. Where did you buy that tarp shown at the end?

It's an Oztrail Hiker Fly. I got mine at Snowys Outdoors (Adelaide). Versatile bit of kit.

Did it get very hot as it was black?

Any tent or swag I've had - even white canvas - gets uncomfortable in much over 30 degrees in the sun. If you've got wind and ventilation it can be not too bad but if there's no wind.....

Hi mate, great video. Is this the single or double?

This one's the single although I do believe they make a double also.

    How much ?

Just under $400 AU. I ended up selling mine as I tend to use the Darche Frontier instead...although the Darche isn't free standing, there's a lot more room in it.

What was the other swag there mate?

It's a Darch Frontier 1200. A little more fiddly to setup and not freestanding but quite roomy with heaps of windows. I have a review of it as well. I sold the Crashpad but have kept the Frontier.

I wonder why homeless people dont use set ups like this more? Being off the ground mighty important in my mind.

@SPENCE and then theft, due to insecurity, would be a further guess of mine...

probably because theyre just not that great. you want a vestibule to put your shoes/backpack and be able to cook in

Probably cause they can't AFFORD this set-up?
