I'm highly considering upgrading to the the oztent jet bunker. Ive got the oztrail one used probably 20 times or more, still in excellent condition. Bags tight fit but it goes in and I've had worse. Rain isn't a big issue if you peg it out properly. The biggest gripe is the condensation and you have to use a mattress in winter which is fine by me but just something to be aware of. Overall much prefer it to swags now dont have worry about the ground you chose being 100% not having to worry about water soaking the bottom as your off the ground and you can put your boots under it to keep them dry.
Would the canvas material one withstand the condensation issue? I have a dune stretcher tent with polyester material and condensation is the issue and im returning it and consider the oztent.
I have the canvas jet bunker, I gave my swag away after using it and can recommend it to anyone, I do a lot of fishing and hunting camps in far north qld and have added self inflating mattress and sleep great
We have the one on the far left. Even a small amount of rain causes a pool on the top and water seeps through. They need to alter the design and add an extra loop pole to the middle to stop it. Given the rain problem of ours, I would get a heavier duty fabric.
Purchased one great in theory hard to fold up and fit back into bag which is too small. You have to turn stretch up side down to fold up ... might be ok on grass not great in outback. Also mesh tore within a few days of use pretty expensive for 8 nights use!
Sorry to hear this Judy, the feedback we have had on these has otherwise been really positive. Please get in touch if you would like to talk about the problems you're having with one of our team, you should expect a longer life than just 8 days out of your stretcher tent. You can reach us on 1300 914 007. ~ Ben
This was just a quick rundown, Scott. They have actually all been updated since this video, we have plans to shoot new videos in the not too distant future. ~ Ben
Seems I've heard a few reports of the mesh not being very durable. A shame for the cost and while you don't want something real heavy, this isn't a hiker's tent so durable is more important than weight.
more durable mesh isn't as fine, so the smaller bugs like midgies will be able to get through, they call it "no-see-um mesh" because in some parts of the world, midgies are called "no-see-um bugs"

Do you sell in the US?
We don't sorry, David, but Oztent is distributed in the US, so I'm pretty sure you'd be able to find the Bunkers over there. ~ Ben
From a 20 year sales perspective, you should know more fabs between those products, especially the first two.

Any of them waterproof at all?
When pitched correctly, they are all designed to be waterproof, Harry. ~ Ben

Afraid a animal might chew on my butt or a spider!
I wouldn't be too concerned SuperDeut4, just make sure you keep your butt inside the shelter and the doors zipped up overnight! ~ Ben
