Oh my so when I pulled it this time and looked into the whole the shaft to the pump was totally crucked so now I gota do what you just did!! Your video was the only one that listed and named it with the title!! just what I need to know my friend I was gonna have a heart Attack !! You made my day!! I'd send ya. $20.00 tip, but I done spent the money!! LOL!!
I am attempting to relocate my TFI in the fender well behind the battery, I bought a newer plug because I thought mine was about like yours was that came off but it wasn't bad at all and the new one had smaller gauge wire so I'm using my original plug and wires. My question is how to tie those three wires into my car, do I go from the plug to the pip and just forget about the wires that'd be left cut on the original harness? Or do I need to splice them in to maintain signal to the ecu? I got a different style TFI that doesn't have the three prongs sticking out. I'm hoping it will work. Thanks in advance! Love the car love the channel! My car is an 86 SVO.
I Like the video. I’m having a oil pump issue also. I was having trouble getting distributer loose to take out. Everything seemed to go wrong. I ended up dropping it back down, hooking every thing back up. Starting it up just to recheck everything. Only problem is I have 85 oil PSI instead of the usual 45 . Going to ask around. I’m sure someone knows what’s wrong.
I pulled my distributor out of my 1996 f150 inline 6 cylinder and the oil pump shaft came out stuck to the distributor shaft. I'm replacing the distributor but I can't seem too remove the oil pump shaft from the old distributor shaft how does it come off
Wow that sucks. Sounds like you need some heat to remove. Also make sure there’s no set screw. I can’t speak to your specific engine but that’s what I’d try first.
@@mrautomotif8996 Thanks for your advice. I got it just gave it a good yank it popped out. It came out with the distributor so I put it on my new distributor and it slipped right in on the first try.1996 f150 straight 6 and that didn't fix my problem
