Congrats and it is a nice/direct video. If you are able to test drive the Cat A version, can you do a comparison with yours? Interested to see if the milder acceleration increase the actual range.
I have the exact same model (only I didn't opt for the white seats). We have only had it for a month but we did 5,000 km in it already. I agree with everything except that autopilot is good. In my experience autopilot is rubbish and completely useless here in Europe. Even dangerous. It will do a lot of emergency braking where there is no emergency in sight for example. My worst scare was on the German Autobahn when I was going quite fast and it read a 50 km/h sign on an exit (that I wasn't going to take) and it suddenly slammed the brakes. Even when you disable autopilot and just use the more basic cruise control it still performs some of these random nuisances. So I have completely stopped using the autopilot and I only use cruise control on the motorway when there is no traffic or I'm in a slow moving queve (since in that particular situation it quite nicely follows the traffic automatically so that is at least useful). In more complex traffic or on any road with the possibility of oncoming traffic I have to drive fully manually in order to avoid random braking etc. which is really annoying. I actually really miss the "dumb" cruise control I have in my 2014 Model S. It's kind of sad that Tesla has spent billions developing fancy self driving capabilities and all I wish for is to be able to turn everything off. But that's the reality. I also wish they had kept the indicator stalk. You can get used to buttons but they are just less intuitive and less safe. Period. I sometimes still have trouble pressing the button when I'm exiting a roundabout and I have to find it while I'm turning the wheel at the same time (and we have many roundabouts in my country). But what I really like is the stereo, the interior, the ride comfort and the efficiency. The navigation and the cameras are also really good. So is a lot of the other software.
One question. I see articles of Tesla being very expensive (even illegal) to repair when it gets into an accident (even though it’s not your fault) due to its revolutionary giga-pressing method of production and insurance companies may not be willing to fork out that amount to cover it. What are your thoughts on this matter?
Thanks for the sharing Daren. I have two questions for you: (1) Are you getting any stain or coloring on your white interior? Is it prone to catching color from jeans etc? (2) Do you find the glass roof letting in too much heat in SG/MY weather? Ie would it be too hot? Are you considering any accessories or film to solve it?
1. No stains on our white seats so far, and very easy to wipe off stains with a baby wipe. Don't wear jeans as I hear there could be color transfer over time. 2. The heat is okay for me, and have 10/30% tint on the side windows
The refreshed Model 3 is a noticable improvement in comfort and noise reduction. Am excited to experience the refreshed Model Y when it releases in 2025!

Hey Bryan. Have made 9 road trips to Malaysia so far and has been ok for us without any additional sunshade/tint. Can give it a try for yourself first for 1-2 road trips, then decide if you want it later. All the best with your upcoming Model Y purchase! We will likely see a refresh coming in early-2025 if you can wait.
Tesla’s autopilot feature is included, but not the FSD (full self-driving) functionality, which currently costs USD$8000 and I believe is only offered in the US.
As you know, the 2024 Model 3 cars get 98% UV protection glass all the way around the car from the factory. All the glass, standard. The 3M film should not be sold as UV protection for a car that already has 98% protection built-in. What the 3M film DOES provide is a reduction in sunlight heat transfer through the glass and light. That’s why people would buy the 3M film tint. If they’re doing it for UV protection, they’re wasting their money.
Hi sir. Placed my order 2 weeks ago for a white coloured and white interior, here in KL. How's the experience with the white interior and seats so far? Is it easy to maintain? Have you done the ceramic coating for the interior as well? Thanks in advance.
@@mewev White seats? I love them. They look so much nicer compared to the black ones, in my opinion. But last weekend, I spent about 30 minutes cleaning the seat because my 2-year-old decided to create some art with a red marker on the back. It’s a decent option for $10-15k savings vs the Cat B version, and the only downside is the reduction of 0-100km/h acceleration from 6.1s to 8.2s (which isn’t an issue for owners only driving in Singapore).
