There’s a small theory that the voices in one of the totk trailers are saying things like “poor hyrule, link has found the body” or “link is gone”. Just thought that was kinda cool
The Depths. This massive piece of evidence of the great flood and the seperation of old Hyrule of Skyward era and new Hyrule where the Zonai return from skies. LOL Even in Zelda some history repeats itself.

Can we all agree how strong this Ganondorf is in tears being able to produce multiple phantom ganon's at one time and pretty much destroy Hyrule pretty much instantly
Yeah, for a long time I thought the ancient sages were fairly weak given how easily he handled all of them together but given the powers he demonstrates in the final battle it actually makes sense
@@AnthonyDGreen like forreal I feel like this is almost on par with demise level power but we also have to remember he gotten a hold of a god tier relic and corrupted it beyond belief but even still being able to corrupt it if you really think about it I wish we knew more about ganondorf then what we do know but lore is so scarce
@@UltimateDrDoom Skyward Link earned the entire Triforce and slayed a being that mortally wounded the goddess Hylia. I love OoT Link but he's not the strongest Link, imo. In some branches of the timeline he outright dies
So re: the water supply in Gerudo Town...I assumed that it was the site of another sacred spring, and this is no doubt why they formed a civilization there out in the desert. The fact that a lightroot is directly below could hint at it being an important location perhaps for that reason. My guess is that, like the dekku trees, Hyrule used to have many more sacred sites and entities that we just have remnants of by the time we're in the Wilds Era.
36:26 My speculation is that everything we knew from BOTW as Zonai ruins were inventions of the Hylians post imprisoning; in some cases, like Thyphlo, they were made from scratch but in other cases they covered over the original Zonai structures as can be seen with most of the Faron structures some of the pristine stonework of the Zonai pokes out from underneath

The best part of both games, (in my opinion of course) is when you are finally strong enough to go after calamity Ganon and you mount your assault on the castle through the guardian filled Hyrule field, the ruins of Castle Town. It feels so epic
i love the idea of Zelda, as the light dragon, causing direct changes to the landscape over the years, slowly changing it into the Hyrule she knows. I was always of the mind that she broke the dueling peaks, but why not push the headcanon further lol
I can't help thinking that the water dungeon was a deliberate subversion. Long time Zelda fans would be approaching it, knowing that they were about to hit a Water Temple, with so much dread and anxiety only for it to be one of the easiest dungeons in the game, and it definitely got a "wait... what?! There could be some kind of pump mechanisms they just aren't showing. But then again, if Vah Ruta can create endless water, who's to say that technology isn't also found elsewhere in this world? Also: I do still believe Satori Mountain is in part a tribute to Satoru Iwata, but it really should be mentioned that the word satori (verb satoru) is also the Japanese term for enlightenment in Buddhism. 1:16:11 There is a strong resemblance to the Chamber of Sages from Ocarina of Time, which has to be intentional given that the heroes are called sages this time too.
