Dudes probably rage baiting lol. This game is solid for the content you get, and the upcoming content is just gonna make it better. New enemies, new weapons, new maps, new chapters, more customization. All the different classes for different play styles to learn, there’s repetition but that’s what some people (including me) love.
Yeah. Game is very good. It's not game of the year. It's not something I'll sink 300+ hours into. But it delivers exactly what every fan of WH40k wanted it to. I'll probably get about 100 hours out of it. Maybe more if upcoming content is enough to keep me coming back
@@seth.topalian5538 true, I played 60 hours since launch and haven’t even touched PvP, been grinding out the coop missions a bunch. I feel like ima sink upwards of 40 hours into each class just to max them out
@@frogboyx1Gaming No one I know that is a gamer likes that trash game. Its barely even star wars, gears of war was actually inspired by the first space marines game.
I think the reason this game is so much fun is because the gaming community misses the masculine war games we had in the early 2000’s-2011 nowadays only cod looks like a war game and its kinda goofy with warzone Fortnite skins
Definitely 10/10 this guy clearly didn’t grow up in 2010 when micro transactions weren’t a thing. The game feels great feels like a 2012 game so great! Very nostalgic. Now we have sissy COD, when it used to be masculine. All these games are sissy games these days and this game brings back so many memories!
You are to woke for that game and you dont even know it. I notice that long time ago with that shitty game no one liked and you loved. I forgot its name but i ran like crap and had FSR Fg..
I havent watched much on this game or played it. But first thing i thought of after clicking on this vid was, it looks like a gears of war knock off lol. Even the people size and camera perspective are the same
I am going to try and answer your question of why people like this game. Ya know how you love racing games, you have all sorts of different wheels, you know how different cars feel and how different racing games play and feel? You have this wealth of knowledge about racing games specifically that someone like me has no clue about. It would take a lot of work for you to explain everything you know about racing games to me to where I have the same level of appreciation and understanding. Okay, now apply that same logic to games in general and this game specifically. You often talk about how you like graphics and that is great! We all like good looking video games. That said, there are people who enjoy the intricacies of particular game mechanics, be it how a gun fires, how a souls game feels as opposed to a hack & slash, some go so far as to get their timing down to single frames when learning to master a fight, some really enjoy the leveling process or developing different builds and trial & error, some like challenging puzzles. It takes a level of dedication and knowledge similar to what you have with racing. A lot of folks play a game like SM2 on the hardest difficulty since what they like about the experience is the learning to overcome the challenge, getting so familiar with a particular weapon for example that they know just how it feels and how/when to reload for example. Couple that with the general love for 40K lore that a lot of fans have and you can see why someone would be attracted to this game. Also, even if you don’t enjoy to get down to the fine details and nuances of a particular game a lot of folks come to games for more than the graphics. In my case I really enjoy good audio/sound design/music, this can make or break a game for me even more than graphics in some cases.
ive heard this game praised as a throwback to the 360 era. just straight to the point, basic, linear, unmonetized and fun in the way that gears of war is fun, non stop action. it seems average to you because it is. this is now the kind of game that resonates with indie developers, due to their lack of resources. its lack of content, and features makes it seem like a AA game. ive never played it and probably wont until it comes to gamepass
I've noticed over the last few months that you praise games people don't like and hate on what's popular. Something tells me you need a different perspective with your reviews
because people are refreshed to not see game companies implement a token character like a black person or a trans person just so they can tell you they are inclusive. people dont care about that, they want good games without stupid agendas thrown at you.
The games awesome man, 10/10 to me just pure fun.

Frogboy likes Star Wars outlaws don’t think anyone should listen to his opinions on games
I like a lot of games because I am an actual gamer. I guess if I switch over to being a content creator things would definitely change.
I just lost all respect for this guy

Everything is gay and bipoc these days, it sucks.
lore accurate, fun, no bs....whats not to love about space marines
Many of us already like Warhammer 40K a lot, Darktide is great too, the books are good as well 👍
Took em long enough to bend the knee to the UltraWide Master Race and deliver support for the superior aspect ratio. 🤣
Exactly
this would be a lot more fun if it had at least 20 vs 20 and on top of that each team had to contend with monsters that are on the opposing team

Yeah i get Gears of War vibes
The game didn't impress me, clocked 70 hours in it, pve ops mostly. It lacks in many areas, you're not alone to feel that way.
Struggling just to stay engaged in it

I enjoy all of that stuff too, but you see i am at a point in Space Marine 2 where it's just not clicking yet at Normal difficulty
yeah buddy was hip firing tyranid warriors from like 30ft away, so when things get intense in the game i can see why some people struggle to enjoy it
This game kicks ass, takes ne back to simpler times in gaming.
Don’t get the comparison with gears. That is a cover shooter, this is not.
Try playing it with friends
I played every mission with randoms and loved it. Beat every mission on ruthless difficulty already.
