Q: Steam is mentioned. Does this mean this tool only works within the Steam environment under Windows or does it work everywhere in Windows ? AMD and Asus also have their gaming software environment. Plus AMD has FSR, does this tool interfere with that ?
brought it a couple days ago and its changed gaming for me entirely, Hogwarts legacy now plays on rog ally without stuttering and hitting 118 fps most of the time in Hogsmeade which is nuts but if you pixel peep your see a outline around people and objects but you don't notice it if your playing the game like normal. being able to turn it on with 1 button press is nuts too
@PeteTalksTech you should do a Battery Test comparison between lowest battery consumption + 30fps lock + lossless 3x and regular mode unlocked fps just to see how long lasts the battery while gaming.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is capped at 60 frames per second. When I Utilize lossless scaling it enables consistent 180 fps gameplay. In Fortnite, where I typically experience frame rate fluctuations between 160 and 190 fps, limiting the frame rate to 120 fps and employing 2x frame generation yields a stable 236 to 240 fps without stuttering. In Genshin Impact, with maximum graphics settings at 1080p resolution, the game is limited to 60 fps. However, implementing lossless scaling and 5x frame generation results in a smooth 57 to 60 fps, effectively achieving 289 to 300 fps with frame generation.
The latency is too much for me. It feels awful. Hopefully they keep working on that aspect of it in future updates, because if that gets figured out this app will be pretty good.
Yes! This 3.0 version is amazing! I'd say it's a game changer for handhelds. Like... Games look great at high framerates. Sure it's all "fake" frames and upscale, but when it looks this good does it really matter? Hahaha pancake being a diva! Nice to see her 2x! Like the frames... 2x
I know right Droide, Pancake’s not content to have her own Intermission in every vid, today she tried to muscle in on the actual vid, she’s more of a diva than Mariah Carey, she’ll want her own Green Room next 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you are rocking 32 gigs of RAM you can run most games at high to ultra settings (often times on Ultra) at 720p or 1080p (full 1080 on plenty of games) & with lossless scaling you can run x5 frame gen with no discernible fracturing or latency & produce from doing this upwards of 220 fps. I don’t know if the Ally X can exactly replicate performance like that with its 24
Can you use the FG without using the scaling? I can't seem to get it working. Could i use the ingame FSR with this FG? AFMF2 is garbage and FSR3 FG is the same for me both causes massive stutters. Does this only work on windowed games?
Still not tried it. I never use fps counter's but its tempting to try it out. Been playing older games since I bought the X. Considering Forbidden West. Which is a game i would try it with
@@PeteTalksTech im sorry that didn’t answer my question, because the link video that you sent me is lossless scaling with old version vs afmf 2, my question is lossless scaling 3.0 is better than afmf 2 ? great video tho 🔥

1,000% agree Jay, it’s an absolute game changer! 🤩
Thanks for the video Pete! Been looking forward to this one 🎉
Thanks Michael as always, appreciate you and all our great viewers so much! 🙌
This new update has changed everything. so far I been using for Pc gaming and emulating

Appreciate the suggestion! 🙌
I'm currently playing Mass Effect Legendary Eddition and to be able to play it at 10 watts and still get 70 FPS is nuts!
Thanks for the info on this one man, Helldivers 2 was hitting 110 FPS and kingdom hearts 2 was easily in the 120’s.
Incredible William! 🤩

Isn’t there input delay while playing Fortnite?
That's amazing for sparking zero!
Incredible void! 🤩

Have you tried 3.0 I heard latency was an issue in the previous version but they recently made it significantly better
Latency on X2 mode is barely noticeable.
What's your settings to feel latency so much? With FSR 3.0 set to "X2" latency is almost unchanged.
Are you using a mouse?, I doubt people using controllers or thumb sticks would notice the lag

@PeteTalksTech 😂😂😂
I really wish it came to steam os
I know right?! It would be epic on Steam Deck! 🤩
1:41 Idk why my LS looks like the 2.0 version. Any thoughts?
Did ya enable 3.0 as shown near beginning of vid within Steam app by selecting the beta Antonio?
Dont use lossless scaling yet. So Pancake's bum was the highlight for me. Have a good weekend!!
Hahahahaha same to you! 🐈🐈🐈

Nice Edward! As I mention in the vid, for those of us rocking top spec pc gaming rigs then I bet this is unreal! 🔥

Yes, you can use just LSFG without LS scaling and just use in game FSR. Just leave the scaling option in LS off.

You should try this out Biker and let us all know how ya find it! 👀
I need 72fps to work with or the lag isn't worth it. Racing games and walking sims not bad though.
Still don't see how this can be better than the upscaling that companies that are worth millions use.
It surprisingly works, it’s so good idk how it hasn’t been taken down yet by these companies
@yamz1156 has digital foundry talk about it? If not then that's even more surprising and suspicious
@@agent47isn1They did talk about months ago.
Its really good, im running new games like DW:Origins FSR LSFG x4 its hitting 120 fps 😂😂
The way you lower then raise the tone of your voice when speaking sentences makes me think you'd be a really funny person to have a conversation with
I’d like to think so haha! 🤣 A lot of my friends say they can’t tell when I’m being sarcastic or not as I genuinely talk like this in real life 🤣
Can this be done through baazite?
Nope Salman, only Windows…
@ Thank you
is it better than afmf 2 ?
