- Almost finished with the C5 Corvette FRC Project, the entire right hand side is done assembled buffed polished rocker extensions installed and now we’re fitting the drivers side fender flares and taking all the crucial measurements to ensure they sit perfectly in the same position on each side.

Love what you’re doing here, car looks awesome. You mention setting the rear glass, is that in another video? My c5 windshield has to be replaced and I’m thinking about polycarbonate for front and back.
Yes sir, the glass is already urethane set and the seal only makes for the final window trim. Brings it up to todays modern standards. 👍

I’ve seen this flares in other corvettes and they just don’t look right but in your car it looks great I think it’s because all the bodywork you have put in the flares. You don’t have to cut the fenders and quarter panels to fit the wider wheels?
They do require cutting but I wait until the wheels and tires are on to trim only as needed.

I like the widebody except that they are screwed on.
Screwed and VHB bonded. Their super strong but we are going for a JDM inspired American Muscle so the bolts are necessary to complete the look.
I love how americans call it a ruff and not a roof.
