I mean, it's not truly believable because of moments like 2:00 (there's no reason for the entire blue team to run to a single area on the court) But the production value is great, and keeping in mind that it's a skit, it's still gold XD
It’s actually impressive how each face pummel was done in one take. Whether it’s actually done in-camera or the ball is vfx, it’s all done so seamlessly and realistically.
They actually pummeled him in the face for the most part, but obviously there was special effects makeup and it was exaggerated. But James Wirtz I can assure you it was not CGI at all.

I’m pretty sure the ball is CGI. Only in the close ups is the ball real. Don’t know for sure though

I mean, it's not truly believable because of moments like 2:00 (there's no reason for the entire blue team to run to a single area on the court)
But the production value is great, and keeping in mind that it's a skit, it's still gold XD
It’s actually impressive how each face pummel was done in one take. Whether it’s actually done in-camera or the ball is vfx, it’s all done so seamlessly and realistically.

They actually pummeled him in the face for the most part, but obviously there was special effects makeup and it was exaggerated. But James Wirtz I can assure you it was not CGI at all.
@Lu Cheng the wide shots are done through reversing the footage. If you look really close you can see where it gets looped back around.
