Oh Wow, those songs have touched me so deeeply in my life, and are always on my playlists. No wonder, since they’re truly from the heart of God. Praise our Glorious Loving Father in Heaven! Bless you John for sharing.
Actually John... WE are all UNWORTHY. WE are all wretched sinners, every last one of us and we deserve eternity in hell... we have ALL sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. But praise be to God, He made a way that we might be SAVED... JESUS IS WORTHY... the precious Lamb of God, the sinless Son of God, Pure, Holy and Righteous, God in the flesh... left Glory with the Father, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, to be born of a virgin (not of Adam’s corrupt seed), lived a perfect sinless life, was despised, rejected and suffered severe persecution. In obedience to the Father, Jesus willingly went to the cross, took the wrath of God upon himself for the sins of the world on the Cross of Calvary 2000 years ago... where He died, was buried and rose again on the 3rd day defeating sin and death. Jesus is ALVE seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven. He, who knew no sin, became sin on the cross and took MY PLACE... the punishment “I” / we deserve... that whosoever admits they are a sinner who can do NOTHING to pay his/her sin debt accept “BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting only in His death, burial and resurrection for forgiveness of sins (past, present and future) and that His shed blood is the only thing that washes our sin away and makes us white as snow, in God’s eye. After my daughter passed in 2013. I wrote a song on the piano. I could hear the song in my spirit and the melody just began to flow out of my hands. I could hear the lyrics in my head. I knew my daughter was with me. I could feel her. At the end of the song I kept hearing Journey. Didn’t know why. Sure enough it was the very end of Faithfully. It was relentless. The last lyrics of my song are “ I’m forever yours---Faithfully. A couple of days later God the Father revealed to me that my song was a love letter from Him to me. I titled the song. “From the Father.” Jonathan Cain your testimony is such a confirmation that it was the Father’s voice I was hearing all along.❤ Thank you Lord for the beautiful song you gave us. My favorite song of all time of course!
That's so beautiful I too had a fantastic relationship with my earthly father and after he passed it was then I understood that God is not just GAWD but he is my daddy and he is a good father.

There are people who cannot, simply cannot connect. This relates to connecting to people as well as to someone we cannot see. Why? The brain just has a wall which refuses to allow the mind over it to understand how simple it is to believe in someone greater than ourselves. Sometimes these disconnected people are wealthy and can accumulate wealth and some are poor and can accomplish little, it doesn't really matter. It's that willingness to know, to seek out something else. Some refuse for many reasons, mostly pride and fear, it doesn't really matter. I'm not sure how you live your life without addressing someone greater. I had little to know understanding in the fourth grade and I was talking on my walk home from school. I knew there was a God. Why is it so hard for so many to at least wonder and do something to educate the mind and heart. Someone has them fooled I guess.
Phenomenal. Today is December 1, 2022. Growing up in Chicago, My fifth grade teacher used to tell us about the Catholic School (He called it the Queen of Angels) fire in 1958. Everytime he told that story he teared up. That tragedy actually led the fire building codes being established with sprinkler systems in every public building in Chicago. Ironically, I didn't know until just recently that one the survivors of that fire would go on to helm one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Journey. Thank you Jonathan for listening to your fathers words. We won't stop believing.

My dad had friends who lost children in the Our Lady of Angels fire. I remember you so well from high school, John Friga. Your band was always a great addition to our dances at East Leyden. I love your testimonial. It is very inspirational.
Love Journey but I had a problem. When I heard he had divorced and married a pastor. I was shocked. 😲That means while I chauffeur him and his wife, he was having an affair. 😧Liz was funny and easy to talk to. Jon was more stuffy. Of all people a pastor?!!! Thou shall not commit adultery. They got married fast. She was twice married and teaches praying for prosperity. That prayer works. She’s 20+/-younger and had cosmetic surgeries? Vain? Is that in the Bible? Focus on what you want in the Bible and disregard the rest I guess. As you can tell, no longer a fan of his 👎🏻 Adultery fake pastors.

She has been teaching him how to lie. The only song he wrote alone was Faithfully. The others were all co-written, mostly with Mr. Perry, who was raised catholic. He has been trying to exaggerate how much credit he deserves for Don't Stop Believin'. She has some ulterior motive for that.

I died 2 times one with Viccadin found out I was allergic to it, & 2nd one was I was in a severe automobile accident that disabled me but was revived in the ambulance so don't know why God put me back in this earth
i have been a JOURNEY fan since around 1986 - 1988 to present but i am even a bigger journey fan (if possible) since i found out the band is an american patriotic band as well as having christian ties within the band. GOD bless and be with us all. cant wait to hear the new album freedom. have been playing my journey collection for awhile but got my appendix removed then got sick about a month after but i should be able to hear it for the first time in about two weeks i hope.

I died 2 times one with Viccadin found out I was allergic to it, & 2nd one was I was in a severe automobile accident that disabled me but was revived in the ambulance so don't know why God put me back in this earth
i have been a JOURNEY fan since around 1986 - 1988 to present but i am even a bigger journey fan (if possible) since i found out the band is an american patriotic band as well as having christian ties within the band. GOD bless and be with us all. cant wait to hear the new album freedom. have been playing my journey collection for awhile but got my appendix removed then got sick about a month after but i should be able to hear it for the first time in about two weeks i hope.
