It was seen by about 3 million people, including Steve Perry, who recommended it, saying "I love this!", and obviously Cardenas also saw the TikTok. Richard was largely forgotten after that small taste of fame, and went back to being a singing janitor until AGT.
I just stumbled across this performance through a recommendation and I'm glad I did. I just discovered Richard and his audition had me swelled with awe and emotion. Richard has my vote 💯
