It's a lovely cover of MJ's original song.

This is so cool. DeeJay is phenomenal and has appeared many times now with VoicePlay: Butter, Bang, In My Room, My Best Friend, Man in the Mirror, and The Chipmumk Christmas song, off the top of my head. Geoff always says why do what other people have done? If he can't add something , he walks away.

It’s simple & it pays tribute to the classic without trying too hard. Massive respect to VoicePlay. Another incredible reaction, can’t wait for more! ♥️

You can do two Geoff reactions every week and we will be perfectly happy!
Deejay joined them in another Michael Jackson piece, The Man in the Mirror, you might want to check that out. It was done on the last day that J None was with them before he left for the US Navy choir.
Geoff's arrangement was so intricate and sexy!

I know that this is an iconic Michael Jackson song. And I’ve enjoyed this song in the past. But at this point in my life I really prefer this cover. I like the fact that it’s more intimate because they slowed it down. I like the stripped down jazzy bluesy sexy sound of it.
I really appreciate that even though DeeJay‘s voice could easily be mistaken for Michael Jackson’s, they did not slavishly copy the song. They rearranged it to feature his voice but make it their own. I love Geoff’s bassline and the fact that we got to hear Layne sing.
I think my two favorite parts are when Cesar and Layne are singing together and right after Geoff sings and DeeJay gets to riff for a while. It reminds me of the Motown sounds that I grew up with. This is definitely going to be one of my favorites.
