      Awesom insight🔥🔥🔥👍🏾….I really enjoyed when artist in the 80’s many times placed there Acapella Versions on there 12inch single mixes, to show there vocal talents…..thank you for explaining just how much is going when MJ was singing…the man attacks his vocals with just as passion as he attacks the dance floor & stage🔥…curious, are the multi-tracks available to everyone to download or only music industry & vocal coaches❓

    • @chrisliepe
      @chrisliepe  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@popnfresh2928 the multitracks are leaked on un indexed sites that are often taken down and then re built under different urls. the distribution of them is NOT supported by the labels or the estate and in fact, when people have shared these links on platforms like TH-cam, those channels get singled out by labels and in some cases, penalized with litigation. Short answer for me... I actually have fans of the who have just reached out and said... "Hey I have these files and I'd love it if you'd do a review... Wanna 'em"? Then I say... YES... and then I do the video and then I remove the files from my computer after enjoying them and making the video :)

    I’m absolutely thrilled that you create these videos featuring Michael Jackson as a tribute artist! When I perform live, I dive into a cappella versions of his songs because that's the ultimate way to grasp the essence of his incredible vocals. Truly, he is one of the greatest singers of all time! What sets him apart is his unique ability to transition seamlessly between head voice, chest voice, and throat voice-no other artist can do that like he did.
    The raw emotion he infused into his singing is something that often gets overshadowed by his legendary dance moves. But listening to performances like these transports you right into the heart of his vocal genius! He had this extraordinary skill to shift from gritty to soft in an instant, and he could convey passionate love or heart-wrenching emotion with just a slight change in his voice. It’s a thrill to experience the depth and range of his talent!

      @duncanidaho8900 28 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Thank you for this. For me his gracious and yet athletic and energic dance moves never overshadowed his way of singing. It was just the ,,icing on the cake,,. For example his choice of doing the moonwalk never took my attention from the song's meaning ( i am the one/who will dance on the floor in the round- and he is doing those dance steps circling around himself, then gliding back in Moonwalk for expressing the idea of the retreat, it's the total representation of the songs). And I like his voice way more in live concerts, sometimes I put on repeat some parts of the songs, like in Human nature how he is phrasing ,,then let me take a bite, such longing in his voice, ,,she knows I'm watching,, so much sensuality in his voice, even his ad-libs are just extra layers for invoking emotions, I'll be there is another one that just takes you on a ride, and so on. Heartbreak hotel- the way he is saying heartbreak you feel it physically. WBSS- the pain is thunder- the way he accentuates the word ,,pain,, is cutting. Then you have ,,Childhood, and there he is using the word ,,pain,, in a soft voice, like he doesn't want to bother to tears the listener.
      But this man had besides a natural talent thst was cultivated a deep understanding of music; after all it was his way of talking to the world.

    This is definitely my top 3 from Bad. I've listened to the Acapella before, and as much as I always say that Michael's voice had changed by this point, I didn't notice until now how "Thriller" he still sounded.

    • @AladeenMusic
      @AladeenMusic หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@FamageOntheTrack apparently the song was first recorded in 1984 (likely the first verse) to 1985 for captain EO then completed the rest in 1986

    • @AladeenMusic
      @AladeenMusic หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Honestly for Bad I dont think his voice drastically changed until the dangerous era (yes his overall voice is still recognizable then) but his vocals were not much different in the bad era from thriller aside from using more aggressive soulful vocals and more nasally, it really still sounded so thriller like, notably in this song, liberian girl which originally began in 1983(thriller era). Apparently this song was recorded starting in 1984-1985 then finished in 1986.

    • @jayda1k_
      @jayda1k_ 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@AladeenMusic or Leave Me Alone, which I assume was recorded during his time away from Westlake (not really) after ‘We Are The World’; in fact I reckon it was after Michael’s troubles with media following Thriller, notably his changing appearance and him being elusive and all, that had inspired to write this masterpiece, and likely at his home studio with the B-Team at Hayvenhurst.

    You are a true master of information, bro. When you dissect an artist, you do it with a surgeons precision and a scientists focus. You don’t do what’s so many including me expect. Mainly, just demonstrating how to mimic a particular artists notes. You give us to how to, but you also give us the Y so that we can get a full 360° of knowledge on the subject and incorporated into OUROWN style, and not just imitation of the artist you are a unique individual

    His music video live performance to this song is one of the greatest live concert videos ever. Its so dynamic, full of energy, just like an explosion of joy right on stage. Its also one of the few videos of the BAD Tour which we can enjoy in 4K. Almost all the original BAD Tour tapes got lost or are not released. Chris, I adore this series so much. ❤️ I’ve been watching the MJ videos here and there. Savouring the sounds and not devouring the lot in one go, so to speak. 😂Thank you for sharing and for teaching us. I’m 38 and have loved Michael my whole life. It’s these styles, techniques, quirks, nuances etc that are so unique to him that have always captivate inspire and mesmerise me. I do sing a little too. Choirs and casual stuff…. 😊 With MJ and growing up it was kinda of like, “Maaaaan he sounds amazing here, I can’t drag myself away, I gotta rewind it a million times…” After hearing his magical, voice isolated it’s like “Maaaaaan he sounds amazing here and I can’t drag myself away because he’s doing this here and that there; and these making the phrases arc like this and grit like that by doing this at this proximity to the mic…🤣He’s my favourite vocalist of all and because of the ability to isolate these tracks; I now know exactly WHY. (I usually sit here and nerd out at the same moments you do… lol)
    Just when I thought that appreciating and cherishing his genius couldn’t grow any more…. 😊I love to learn and when it’s learning more about something that is so very dear to me, my heart definitely sings. So glad I found you here, and once again, thank you. 🙏 ❤
    (Is “Will You Be There?” available for you to dissect? I would absolutely love to hear that!)

    IM SO EXCITED TO GET INTO THIS I LOVE THIS TRACK SO MUCH ITS SO GROOVY, FUNKY ELECTRIFYING, SO QUINTISENTIALLY 80S! And sadly so underrated... I think this song has the best "hook" or "pocket" out of any musical arrangement of Micheal's. I cant get enough!

    What are the odds?! In my latest hit i was thinking about Michaels horn sections. Always does cool stabs, but what surprised me most now is the 'muted guitar chucks' can't believe i never noticed them before, now i can't unhear it
