    As someone new to the 404 and a little overwhelmed by the other videos by bigger channels, I have to say… you’re nailing this tutorial. I just learned 3 things I didn’t know and I’m only halfway through.
    It’s paced well. Your instructions are clear and the usage deliberate and unrushed. Your speech is clear. Instant sub. Super impressed. Keep it going, this is already unique and you’re just starting!

    This has been one of the most basic techniques in hiphop production for at least a quarter of a century.

      He's a yakkkubian what do you expect? He probably thinks Dilla made donuts on his death bed with just a 202

    Yo! I seen you perform on the subreddit and now your videos got finally recommended. Love your beats on Reddit, subscribed !
    Can I ask do you record your mic into 404 for the video or computer? Please let me know name of mic if you recommend it

      Thanks for the sub! For recording voice, I use a Shure SM57 plugged directly into an audio interface, nothing fancy. Def recommend both the SM57 and SM58. 58 is meant specifically for vocals, and the 57 is nearly identical but better for recording instruments, just needs a windscreen on top to help with low sounding plosives for vocal recording.

    I have an MPC Live but really want to get the SP. By the way such a visually pleasing video. Are you a professional videographer or something?

    I'm not afraid to ask. What is your opinion on making an album based on the 404 nowadays?

    • @akademikz23
      @akademikz23 11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I mean to say considering the 404 series that's been out for a decade at this point

      The tool is not important, what matters is to what extent the tool suits you and meets your needs. Ultimately, the tool must help the person behind it to express themselves through their music.

      In the end, the best tool is the One you use 😊

      @daijotogashi I appreciate that but I already knew that 😂 just wanted an opinion on the workflow

      @@akademikz23 Sorry ! The sp404 workflow focuses solely on sampling, compared to an MPC or a Daw where you can also compose in MIDI. So it may put off more than one person, but I think it fits well with people who like to play physical instruments (pianist, guitarist, etc.) and who always dream of quietly composing their piece of music in their armchair or their favorite café terrace
