Great vid. You've got yourself a new subscriber. I bought the Sp404 mkII earlier this year and I haven't really used it that much. I really want to use it more often, especially in standalone, but because I'm a Maschine user, I tend to just stick to that (my Maschine MK3). I can knock out beats on that thing quite easily. I don't regret buying the SP, not at all. In fact, I love it. I think it's a super powerful sampler. I sometimes use it with Logic too. Maybe it's the learning curve that's holding me back. Anyway, thanks a million for this video.
That's what is holding me back. Maybe if we had these great videos earlier on I'd feel differently. But the menu diving for me is so cumbersome. I have Maschine too. Much more intuitive and just as powerful (IMHO).
thanks a lot! I'm glad that this video resonated with you! SP is just different. I am personally an MPC live 2 fan, like crazy fan. Cant imagine other way of making beats. however, does SP have the "right to live" in my setup? with all the limitations? Of course yes :) Its like you have a nice modern car that you use daily, but you keep that old rugged 4x4 to sometimes go offtrack and mess in the dirt and bumps! this is SP
okay, do you think the SP has menu diving? 😀 i thought people only say so about MPCs. After MPC i thnk that SP has absolutely NO menu diving and that is what makes it different and I love it. anyway, i hope that you give your SP another try!
