30 frames is awful it feels like my controller is filled with mud
worst feeling fg i’ve played in the past decade
Don't spam moves.
@joeysollazzo6025 oh my god u multi shills bro were not saying it messes up our gameplay WERE SAYING WE DONT LIKE HOW IT FEELS. Omg u multi shills just tell everyone to get better like yeah i can get better at a boring game but i want it to be fun. This isnt an argument btw cuase we just have different opinions but stop acting like not spamming is the end all be all
Happy Waddle Wednesday!
@@stoplosinglilboy1461 you get punished for spamming moves. Play dark souls and you will learn
The input lag and buffer is my biggest conplaint too. It feels fucking horrible.
Input lag isnt the right word, this game has 3 frames of input lag just like other fighting games. The input buffer is the only complaint
yeah, its AWFUL
@@DrunkenPumpkin626 and input buffer isn't the same thing as input delay
input buffer input delay input lag it all needs to go.
Input buffer is fine. Don't spam moves and they won't come out. It's like darksouls
I think its just extremely weird in the beta it felt so FLUID and I think some of the moves were maybe too strong and too big hitbox or hard to dodge, but the actual movement speed was definitely not the problem in my opinion. The fluid movement was the defining thing of what I really enjoyed about the game. I loved how the air dodge would transition into a ground roll and still lets you move out of it. Now when I try to move and use the dodges, it feels everything is stuck in molasses. Even leaving the whole balancing thing to the side, making the movement feel so bad is just overall a bad move.
Bud i think all of us love that speed of gameplay because, its a game its made to have fun, and when the game is faster you wanna play more naturally
The game feels more like a dark souls type of dodge than spamm and not get punished because of bs hitboxes + endless dodge
its better for competition that its slow. more puposeful game. but 90% of players wont reach a level where the slow game play helps them. most of us just want a game that feels good. and dont care that interactions are 50/50 guess work at high speeds.
To be fair to you, I often dodge attacks and still get hit. Like the dodged message and anything but I still get hit by it.
I hope they make the game better
Me too
They saw the complaints and going to use this as feedback.
I mean I doubt they’ll leave it to rot
I would even settle with playable
What's wrong with the game?
Claiming other fgs have a good model for character dlc is insane to me.
fr it might be consistent with other fighting games but it’s still ass
I dunno. Spending 30 bucks for s fighters pass that has 4 characters is kinda shit.
it's insane to think a 30 frame delay is also fine
@@KidKomedy go read my other comment. It has a definition of what an input Buffer is vs Input delay.
@@evilded2 bruh. No.
half a second of Input delay compared to 6 frames is huge... How can you say its not noticeable
*input buffer not input delay
it still sucks hard but its playable
He didn't say it wasn't a problem, he's saying for pro players you shouldn't be mashing anyway so the input buffer shouldn't be as big of a problem for them. And he's right the input buffer is only really a problem if you mash a lot, I started to practice not mashing and the buffer really does become less noticeable. But it still sucks, no one is saying it doesn't.
For ppl who play ultimate it's not noticable since their used to tons of buffer in a super slow game but if u play melee multiverse is unplayable.
there is not any noticeable input delay, input buffer is completely different
@@smeshU-tl6qxthe buffer is very low in ultimate it’s 9. Compared to Multiversus 30 that’s insane.
Void I swear its the fall speed and I don't hear it being talked about enough When compared to Smash or Brawlhalla I feel Fall Speed in MVS feels weightless and even worse when using an Air Attack. What do you think?
His first minute about Velma and Wonder Woman and bugs has been my entire gripe this whole time. How did they over look balancing them and almost BUFFED them while literally gutting others
It's because the "beta" was meant to be the final release. That much is apparent by them announcing season 3 and then suddenly just taking the game off all platforms. They made so many systematic changes that the game balance is completely different than before. They essentially created a new game in terms of character balance and needs another round of player feedback to adjust. Post-release Season 1 is going to be beta 2.0 because so many changes were made.
@@klinkclangand multiversus will be dead again
How did they not figure out how busted Iron Titan was until NOW?!?
@@klinkclang It feels weird to market your game as being a beta though?? Why would they call it a beta if it was meant to be the final release? They kept the game up for so long because it was very successful so they kept servers up to bank off it more
Pokemon Unite lets you try characters in a sandbox before you buy which is a GODsent when every character is either a shit ton of currency or real $.
Most other mobas I've played have the same thing. It goes back to genre consistency. Getting to try characters you don't own in fighting games is simply not the norm. Expecting it to become the norm just cuz is insane to me. Pfg folded like an omelet so guess the public won but I personally think it shouldn't be that way🤷
@@drdepression4605 yeah you can't try them because you can always unlock the base roster. If thats the norm for DLC I completely agree but when I can't try characters that are on the "box" that's infuriating.
Things felt off to me for the first couple days, but it was you saying that it wasnt that bad which made me rethink and reapproach. Now im loving the current feel of the game and the skill expression that comes with the dodge meter and the emphasis on good positioning.

@@derrickrobinson7269 the beta speed and dodge spam from the beata was insane
@@orionlucas3272 Oh okay so at 1st it was mainly a skill issue, not a game issue. The game itself isn't bad but I believe your enjoyment (once you understand the game) is heavily dependent on your character choices. There is a tangible gap in the roster. But then again, if you play 2s you should still be good for the most part. I won't get into details about mechanics and hitboxes, that's for the individual to decide their enjoyment or lack-thereof
I’ve been waiting this game to come back out and I still cannot play it is still unplayable on Xbox and I do not understand how they haven’t been able to fix this issue yet
Claro, tan facil ha de ser
Exactly the point that void had where pfg made the game and went radio silence that’s exactly what for the first week 💀
A dev said they have Xbox fixes waiting to be approved already
It’s playable, could use some help on crashing occasionally or not letting me log in, but I realized you need really good wifi or an Ethernet cable for stable matches, which is how it was in the beta too.
@@CAsnowmanno mf this ish should be smooth 60 fps and Xbox is not even close to that. They acknowledged the issue a few days ago on Twitter, and yet still no fix cuz the devs are fucking horrible at their job

That’s just something you have to adapt to cause it simply isn’t a normal platform fighter

The "why" for me is that i can pre-move a 4 moves combo, go take a coffee and come back.
Also if the combo miss you just keep doing the moves. Or like if i mash a 2/3 hit move, i cant stop when i want because it stored all the buffered inputs
I don't like the 30 frame input buffer, it makes the game feel too clunky. Whenever I play a fighting game, be it a platform fighter or something more traditional, my inputs tend to be a bit mashy. And with how generous the input buffer in this game is, there are times where I do an attack and then the same attack comes out right after when I didn't want it. For instance, I've been playing Garnet, and I use her jab a lot, but the buffer makes another jab come out when I wanted to do something else. Now VoiD says that you just need to be more deliberate with your inputs so that you wouldn't even notice the buffer. But I would rather have the game play more smoothly than have a clunky system that forces you to be more careful. So I'm hoping that an option to adjust the buffer window comes soon.
Defending 30 frame input buffer is so insane im gonna keep it a stack.
Void is not beating the shill allegations. It's a free alleyoop to not defend the input buffer.
I mean your gonna be bad at the game regardless
@@Ccubed92You good lil bro you upset?
Tony confirmed that they are working on reimplementing adjustable input buffer atm. Alot of things apparently couldn't make the release window.
@Zenfluence81 Yeah, they really didn't do much with the game. Feels like very few things made the release window. Seems like they prioritized marketable things like graphics over gameplay.
I hope they can turn the game around, because I'm having so much fun playing.
I am enjoying the game quite a bit so far, but I wouldn't mind changes. I do not want old multiversus dodge system where everyone could just mash dodge out of every attack, every hit, every thing. That was frustrating
No one in there right mind wants MVS to die. It’s got the greatest potential of any platform fighter. BUT the Devs MUST fix the issues with game and listen to the players.
With the speed and punctuality of their letter describing the issues that players are facing I believe that the devs are indeed listening to the players, it’s just that it is taking awhile for them to fix the changes they stated they would
Leffen said he wants it to die, easiest unsub of my life.
Yeah, I just wish they would've delayed the release for longer or something so we wouldn't be missing features that were in the beta and they should've listened to the players and not changed the entire speed and flow of the game out of nowhere. But with how it currently sits, it just seems like they are asking for it to die...
@@Vhybs We all know Player First Games Devs put their heart and soul into this game and want it to be around for years. It’s ludicrous to think they want it to die or even say they aren’t trying. They are a smaller dev team and are doing what they can. We all know WB is a major reason for a ton of unnecessary things in the game. BUT the MVS Devs still must be responsible for making the game right. I support the Devs 100% to make that happen.
Wb forcing them to ur5 was an awful idea and then releasing it, so they had to remove everything. I feel bad for devs if they were forced by wb.
if they speed up the game a little and change the buffer a little it might be better
The speed of the game is fine
@@Ccubed92 a tiny little bit faster would be a tiny little bit more fun for me
30 input buffer feels like I’m playing guitar hero on wireless guitar
The input buffer thing being a problem for people makes me feel like a crazy person. I never even noticed it. I just press the button when I want to attack and it works.
Is it people who have constant miss inputs or press a lot of buttons at once or something that have a problem with it?
Sorry, I just don't understand why it's a problem.
Feel free to explain to me why it is a problem if I'm wrong.
You can tell when you missclick and the move comes out twice
OK the buffer actually makes inputs less reliable let's say your opponent is a little out of reach, so you quickly dash forward for spacing and try to hit a Jab, since there buffering for half a second you'll get a dash attack you didn't want even if those inputs were 29 frames (almost half a second) apart, there's tons of examples like this 30 for the input buffer is wild and makes it feel clunky and adds to missinputs since everything(even movement) is tied to it, I hope this is taken in good faith because I genuinly belive its valid criticism
Tbh if top players r happy with a game a lot of times its because the devs r ignoring the casual players problems and only balancing for top level play.
Dude needs to marry this game
2:52 a betta having more features is wild
All the features they had in the beta was supposed to be added but they had to release the game
Bro said he’s pretty easy to please from this game… should let yall know everything right there about how valid his opinions are😬
Also yes, the input buffer is also a huge issue. Didn’t notice it the first few days but I definitely have at this point. 100% needs to be fixed
Man I love the plat fighter community. The amount of mutual respect between the creators is really nice to see
I like the speed of MvS now. My hands can keep up with my brain
I just really want short hops to be lower I feel like I can’t do aerials at ground level anymore which makes aerials feel strictly for air to airs
Look up instant air dash moves I just learned it this morning it’s good you just have to practice or you’ll waste dodge meter and be vulnerable
@@CAsnowman Thank you so much
In beta, maps had much more vertical air space before reaching the top blast zone.
Now-It’s easy to get hit up bc they didn’t make the maps bigger to accommodate bigger character models. You get hit up into the top blast zone easier now. Maps need to expand top blast zone.
I just don't fully understand why they completely rebuilt the game after an extended testing period that was pretty well received. Like what was the point of the early access if they weren't going to use it to polish what they already had. Instead it feels like they just scrapped it and made a new game with a whole new slough of issues and bugs. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that this version of the game is just bad, it is definitely still fun, but it also took a lot of things out of the game that I really enjoyed in the early access version. Also, not sure if this is just me but visually the game doesn't seem as smooth, and just over all feels and looks clunkier then the early access version.
they had to switch to new engine for next gen
The engine is a big deal tbh. U5 gives a lot of room to do a lot of things, like animations in engine (like the one with Jason) and a lot of qol improvements to get things faster (like build stages and other things).
Yeah it sucks a little at the moment but is great for the game in the long run (which is what they are striving for)
heres the thing with people comparing the character unlocks to league, Their system is so refined and awesome that I can stop playing for MONTHS and still be bale to play an average of 10 games so about 5 hours and get some EXPENSIVE characters. Theres a chest that you get keys for based on performance, also more chests based on how well you did, those give shards for champs that can be unlocked for less than their actual price. For NEW PLAYERS, every time you hit levels till level 30 you get rewarded A LOT of currency, that makes you unlock pretty much 3 characters that you desire since the currency you generate gives u a good push early. THEN AND ONLY THEN, does the game slow down, but you get 50BE for your first win, all the chests and shards with added incentive for playing with friends.
TLDR you get A LOT of currency to unlock skins and characters in League, systems are in place where you never feel like you stop unlocking at any stage of the game unlike multiversus.
granted they added a lot of those systems in the more recent years, league in 2013 had a pretty barebones system
Is also more easier for them, they have 168 champions compared to the 28 of Multiversus. That's a huge difference tbh. The systems weren't as generous as they are now. They still need to make it better thou
I own every champion in league of legends and I wanna hit whatever crack pipe you've been smoking because you don't even earn a single level up over a 10 game period in league of legends. It takes fucking forever to unlock character in league unless you engage with the randomized gacha system which is RNG garbage that is way worse than grinding.
Uhh you like lol, go take a shower, i can smell your odor through the screen.
It takes 5 hours to play 10 league games?😳
I agree that a base roster bundle would be great, but trying out characters in training should 100% come back because as Void said, the Beta had it. I do want Fighter Currency to be more easily available, but I dont think that would solve the issue of "test-running" a character.
I think something Void and other big streamers havent acknowledged as much are the De-Sync and connectivity issues. They likely have good gaming PCs, but many players on XBoX/PS4 or even lower end PCs are having trouble with constant crashes.
no bro trust the 30 frames feel sooo terrible. like day and night from the beta, to the point where i don’t even have motivation to play
youre trippin callin 30 f delay the same as 6, stop perpin
I would love an 1,2 speed with less sticky platforms so you can fall through them quicker. The beta felt so so great and I do like several things from current. Especially that moves feel punishable and the current dodge system. But I hope they take some things that people want from beta. Like being slightly faster and attack decay. I just hope that the devs listen and adress what what we say cuz I want the game to succeed. Like if the devs would come out and tell us about what they think about the feedback.
I've been enjoying the game, the thing that's the most annoying for me is theres always the same type or vibe of discourse when a new fighting game is out, certain bugs, game speed, minor things, get blown up to be as if they're trying to MURDER THE GAME!!!! but its like ... we exist in an era with patches to games this is not 2003 can we relax. I can look to the releases of guilty gear strive, under night, melty, dragon ball fighterz, like they all have had some weird initial design decisions or aspects of the game that within less than 2-3 months were fixed.
they actually fixed the isues with not being to play characters in training, you can now use every character in training and try them before you buy them. This however doesn't change that most characters are pretty expensive
9:22 And You dont know why. It doesn't even matter how hard you try. Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To remind myself of a time when I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mockin' me
Actin' like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised it got so far
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end
You kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually
Be a memory of a time when I
I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
One thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme to explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life away
It's so unreal
You didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Tryin' to hold on, they didn't even know
I wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory
Of a time when I tried so hard. 🎶🎵
They should give like 4 or 5 characters worth of tokens up front. Or very easy to get to get people rolling
The input buffer is a problem when your mashing. My only problem I have is some time my characters just start fight on they're own and I can not control them
SF6 specifically makes you try a dlc char for 1 hour with a trial token (you can hold up to 10 of them) and that's ok imo; of course you still have to pay 5/6 to unlock but at least you can try it first
Another game that does this even tho I don't like it is brawlhalla where you can play anyone in training mode
There is zero excuse for multiversus having training mode locked the way it is when a game like paladins has like quadruple the roster and has the free shooting range (training mode) so you can try before you buy.
This isn't a full priced fg with like 5 or 10 dlc characters. This is a f2p fg with every character technically being dlc
For local and training you should have all the characters
I for one remember what instantly made me fall in love with beta mvs was how fast it was in the beginning and how it reminded me of melees speed. That said the main game being slower is hard for me to get used to and I do feel sadly took one of the things that initially I really liked. But I do like the game I just want to really like it again
on siege i can have a match 15-20 mins just fine no dc... multiversus i have dc in like 8 matches in that time, do others have this problem?
I feel like the entire system for getting characters has changed for the worse. I agree with Void that systems change between the beta and release versions, but they should improve upon them or not touch them at all.
We went from various character prices(1500, 2000, 3000) to every character being 3000 hero points(except Joker, who is literally 6000 lol).
We went from having the ability to try every character in training to having to watch NAKAT(or others) and our own match experiences to decide if we vibe with a character or not.
We went from being able to grind coins via completed matches, arcade, and from all the toast we got. To now getting barely earning toast(therefore hardly ever receiving toast from other players), arcade being replaced with raid(gives a few hero tokens in easy mode once for most stages then no more), and unable to get bp points/hero tokens in matches.
Not only are there less ways to earn currency to get characters, but theres also fewer ways to try them out. Training and end of match currency needs to be added back asap.
3:15 as i was saying before in street fighter 6 they have rental ticket that allowed you to try out the character in training and casuals we already have all this. currency so why not just rental currency
This game regularly freezes, crashes and DCs on Xbox, and this effects *all* players because this game has crossplay.
Even if people really do want this game to fail, it doesn't matter because the game itself is *literally* failing
The game just came out A WEEK AGO. There's going to be fucking problems, there's more people flooding the servers because it's an official release and not a beta. The fucking doomposters are insane for this game.
@@TheSTATiiCchannel No one said it wouldn't be FUCKING PROBLEMS, but when 1/3 of the player base CANT PLAY THE FUCKING GAME, it's a huge problem im on ps5 and I've been having the same problems. I had the same issues during the end of the beta which made me stop playing because I couldn't play the game. Sure they can patch the issues but pfg already blew their first impression with new and returning players trying to give the game a chance and they can't even play for 30 seconds before dcing. No one wants the game to die, fear mongers, etc, but let's not put off or excuse these huge problems, multiverse has dealt with bigger numbers than this so they should be prepared for this its obviously been rushed out and pfg are trying to pick up the pieces in the next few patches, now we pray it can save the early life of this game

I didn’t like the initial gameplay changes at first but now I’m actually getting used to it and it’s not that bad tbh
I havent noticed the input delay as much but ive definitely noticed the hitstop and the delay at the end of some attacks feels so slow compared to the beta, hitboxes are janky asf and xbox is still pretty laggy. I kinda miss the old speed of the game but i kinda like it being slower so you have to be more deliberate with what you input instead of constantly predicting. Tbh tho i think the old speed with the new burnout system wouldve worked fine, seems like more people hate the new speed of the game then like it
I think it's because the speed has been reduced so it's a bit fairer however they shouldn't have removed attack decay
i think that a middle ground between beta and new mvs would be good
Mk 11 Sonya mains: First Time? Lmao
I would like a bit less lag on hit
The input buffer is a huge problem to me personally but it will be fixed. I think the hit boxes and hurt boxes are super jank it’s very not intuitive to know where and how a move hits. Maybe that’s just a learning curve thing but it feels off to me in that way
I can’t believe this game didn’t drop with ranked. We’ve been waiting since the very first beta.
Anyone else feel like half their games have serious lag issues or just straight up dc? It’s not my internet because all other games run fine, and if it was me, why is there no graphics change settings?
I wish we had a prelaunch "stress test" so MVS could have gotten feedback on the changes. Even thinking like an executive, this game doesn't want my time or money.
Shockingly, WB doesn't know that tedium doesn't encourage payers to skip the grind it encourages them to play something else or engage with another form of entertainment.
I guarantee the switch to multiple currencies will lose WB money as well. That majestic Fred icon that cost 50, 000 gold was a perfect money sink to steal gold from high investment players so when the next character comes out they have to use gleamium because they spent all of their free currency on a status symbol.
These executives are hilariously incompetent, bruh 💀
Devs have said there will be an option for Input Buffer soon! Dont panick
Guys can u help im new to this game whom should i main ig tom ?
8:37 why he said it like that
As someone who played solo a lot I like the multiverse we have now but I definitely see the issue ppl have with the game I’ve got hope
It seems like a lot of people are confused about this so I'll add the definitions of input Buffer vs Input lag.
Input Buffer: A period of time where a fighting game will accept the input for an attack. Then, if you input a move any time during that window, it will wait and apply it on the first possible frame after the window passes.
Many older games lack any sort of buffer but, all modern titles have have some amount. SF6 and Guilty Gear ST it's a five frame window, for Tekken 8 and Smash Ultimate it's a nine frame window.
Input Delay/Lag:
When your button presses happen on screen after a delay, rather than immediately. Input lag can come from a variety of sources, including limitations of the game engine, your big screen TV processing the image before showing it, or even netcode solutions intentionally delaying inputs to compensate for network problems.
All games suffer from some inherent input delay, but as long as the delay for all factors combined is around 3 to 5 frames, this is considered acceptable performance by fighting game standards. When the input delay fluctuates during matches, though, that's when it really starts to feel awful.
Every free fighting game should allow players to try characters in training mode. Brawlhalla does it
They should just find the file on the beta and bring it back cuz it was unfortunately somehow better than the actual game
Void is coping really hard on new MVS, go back and watch his "Reacting to my Evo Win... 2 Years Later" or anything MVS before the new release.
MVS new release was supposed to be his new main content, you can tell he's only sticking with it because it's giving his channel new trend views like meta youtubers do. Void is still a talented gamer, but there's no way he's absolutely LOVING MVS in the current state like he says.
Fix the endlag/hitstun and the input buffer and every will be perfect
And the input buffer does matter. Especially if you play slower characters.
I play KBM i used to play 6 frames in beta I can totally feel this change its terrible
How much time and faith do you want to give them void, games been down for a year and they come back with literally like 50 less features available
Like you said, being experienced with playing plat fighters makes the buffer more manageable. I wait for my move to finish and press the next one. I think coney was just having problems moving in the game and attributing it to that.
For me the bigger character and hitbox size is easily the biggest problem, tbh.
Particularly in 2v2s and on some of the smaller stages. When you combine those two together, it just feels... harder to follow than anything in the beta ever was because characters take up so much of the stage.
30 frames has to go, and while a tweet came out today addressing some minor stuff (end game results, team colours etc), there is no mention of the input buffer changing. They made a note of it but not in their recent tweet.
I hope we don’t have to wait long. And trying chars in tournament mode should be a thing if they offered it before. It’s not about it the standard and instead putting players first. Going off the standard should be rewarded
Training* not tournament lol
From the perspective of a taz main, taz needs that up strong attack. That's literally his best move right now and probably his move with the most range (maybe tied with dogpile). Also, there's bigger problems with other character's attacks like Harley's slide attack thats basically unpunishable lol.
The problem coney was trying to convey is that everyone seems to have that ONE attack that the char needs so everyone starts to spam it and it actually works. I have never seen a banana guard use more than 3 moves lol. They all just spam side special, forward air and then something that leads in to forward special and it actually works
@@trip3107This is one of the many reasons why i think attack decay should never have been removed
I really love the game and being on Xbox, for some reason I haven’t experienced any connection issues, so idk where people are getting at. As for the frames, idk if I’m getting something wrong, but I don’t feel a difference really. Feels just the same. What sucks though is the first impressions thing. People don’t give anything a chance these days. Do something bad or disagree and you get beaten to death
Is it bad my slow ass realized he was reacting to a video and not going over the video's topic with the other guy at the 6 minute mark?😭
The Answer in How to Fix The Game:
fix input lag or buffer thing whatever.
turn up the speed to inbetween beta and now.
More balance to some characters.
dont make rifts and the event so grindy.
remove the rng on the stage with the ufo. (i dont like this map at all) or add map bans - vote system.
zoom out a littlebit when up close.
Add match rewards like exp (current state is that you earn nothing only from missions)
Add stats after game like in beta (KO count and dmg)
Add Best list
and there you have it :)
i miss dodge jumping...
I agree 100% almost. I love mvs but yes there's still a lot of issues. I just think its crazy that everyone's so caught up on the speed. This speed is 10x better for 2s especially. It actually takes skill you cant just fly around mashing buttons and succeed. Plus tony has said that a ton of these issues are getting fixed. Gameplay wise I think the game is great, yes they still need to work on hitboxes and yes they need attack decay and some nerfs(banana guard spear haunts me) but overall this game is in a good place and is only going up. Most the problems the audience has with mvs is stuff that they wouldn't have a problem with if they never played the beta like you said.
Ye for 2s it’s good but for 1v1 it feels off because it’s was so crazy and fast but now it doesn’t really feel like that I and I don’t know I think it kinda lost its charm
"some people dont want the game to do well and dont come from a good place" literally me yesterday watching leffens video shitting on the game frame 1
My gripe is mostly character changes. Changes to Morty Velma sucks and takes the fun out of trying to make big brain plays
We gotta wait for the devs to cook bro it’s like the first week. There’s bigger issues to fix the disconnecting is huge still. Then we have the game feeling slow, camera, character outlines, end of game stats. Now I’m no developer but the game feeling slow and camera is a huge thing that they can’t mess up because it can make or break the game so I’m just waiting and enjoying what they put out until updates come.
I think I can articulate why the 30 frame buffer feels absolutely miserable to play with. So online features usually has some form of delay and the best example is dragon ball fighter Z where it tells you your frame delay on the top online. There is always an inherent 3 frame buffer for network reasons so that's fine it doesnt change much and the difference between online and offline is fairly minuet but still there. As someone who competed in online and offline tournaments I can admit there is a big difference in reaction 1/20th of a second doesn't sound like a lot but it is. However while 3 frames is manageable once you hit 8 frames of delay you notice your anti airing gets super inconsistent and now it feels like you need to predict your opponents moves to react properly. At the worst 20 frame delay you need to have a crystal ball and see into the future to do more than just a 3 hit combo or react to whatever your opponent does
Now I understand platform fighters are different but you can feel the difference at 30 fps. You have moments where it feels like your character is just controlling themselves, your gameplay feels sluggish, and you cant predict as well. Its a rough experience that I feel like will kill multiversuses. I want it to succeed I love the game but in that state its just not fun because your character will just do a move you inputted half a second ago and now it feels like you have no control of your character. Its not entirely because your mashing either but because you were expecting one outcome but another happens so you change your input but there is no take backs so it just feels awful.
0:34 me and Superman💔. GIVE HIM HIS GRAB GAME BACK
It’s so laggy on Xbox for no reason sadly
Also they removed cooldowns for projectiles so they go crazy now. But they didn’t need to do Velma like that they could have reduced everything with her.
I truly love this game and couldn't wait for it to release after the beta, but they should've kept it in the oven until everything was taken care of rather than releasing it in the early stages of the previous beta. They're giving me PTSD with all the issues they're trying to fix that were already previously fixed at the end of the beta. I know they switched to a new engine, but why ignore the fixes you already set in place and force your beta players to endure them a 2nd time?
-They already removed IG before in the beta because of his o to death exploits and now they've removed him again. We appreciate the effort of trying to make a big character like this in a platform fight, but at this point, scale him down to normal size and repurpose him as the Tinman from The Wizard of Oz lol
-Looping is an issue again with multiple characters, if they cannot fix it.... INBOUND attack decay
-Servers issues again that kick you out 4 out 5 matches
-Hitboxes are back to being out of pocket with Bugzvii already showing how Bugs' up air swing is hitting under and behind him again.
-"Ranked coming soon"
-Projectiles back to having weird properties...please reinstate previous beta patch where heavy beats light
Buffer is sick !! Its like a darksouls platform fighter dont mash and your fine
maybe they could have made the 1v1 and 2v2 modes play differently or something
now there is 2 characters removed from the game
Gave the dev's 2 years for this crap don't know what on earth they were thinking to end up here
The 30 frame buffer complaints are most likely also upset with the increased end lag on everything making the game feel sluggish.
Coney's video depressed me. I love this game. I stopped playing for 2-3 days after watching this. I decided yesterday after playing 5 hours I'm going into this with rose tinted glasses and nobody can change my mind
They need to count pvp matches more towards the battle pass and improve the fortnite ripoff aesthetic cu that sucks if unpolished, but the game is good
Void sucking the multiverse devs dry
void is such an opp bro
League has a rotating trial lineup
