Thank u so so much for posting this video! I've been looking for months for a video just like this! I started collecting recently and just go after my favorites. No complete set. Just the ones I love from sword and shield on switch. Got me started. 4 or 5 months later I have my own binder and LOVE pokemon cards. I'm 38 and wish I'd discovered card collecting sooner. Again. Thank u so much. Lots of videos of rares reverses etc... but I've been wanting to see another person's personal fav collection. Made my evening. Thank u.
I notice a lot of people telling you to keep them in top loaders, I put all my full art trainers and alt arts in binders and nothings wrong with it. Dont let these new "investor bros" tell you how to collect, looking at your binder is so nice and a lot more fun then shifting through a bunch of top loaders, It also is just nice to fill up pages, do what you enjoy and not what other people tell you to do!
If it's in a sleeve and in a good binder they won't get any kind of play or damage I would say top loaders would be for shipping or if that's how you like to store them I prefer a binder
Loving the binder! Question though, what made you go with a 4 slot opposed to a 9? I prefer the 3x3 binders just because of the ways you can organize cards in it. Love the binder though!
stunning collection seriously jealous lol, are these binders discontinued I can't seem to find them anywhere (the 80 card version) I really want to narrow down my collection
Wow that's such an impressive collection! I've been trying to complete some master sets but it's so hard so I'll just keep breaking and keeping the good cards haha
So for your personal collection you don't grade? Also, when did you decide to get into buying raw singles, grading, and selling? I've been thinking about doing this myself since I work in IT at home, and my workload is really non-existent unless things are breaking or we have a project...which is maybe once or twice a year. Figure I could make some extra money doing another job, but then thought maybe "working" for myself flipping graded slabs would be more enjoyable.
I dont grade my personal collection bc I cant fit it in a binder. Its definitely more enjoyable to work and do pokemon. I’d say go for it, but it is time extensive
@@PokeJust I've got plenty of time. On a normal day I may do at max about 30min of work. I use to speculate on MTG cards, but since WOTC reprints everything into the ground, it no longer makes sense. I've been watching your buy videos, and some others, and it really lines up with what I've been buying myself for the most part. The biggest issue I have is actually submitting cards for grading. I've never done it...and I'm paranoid USPS or FedEx will lose my package and I'll be out thousands. If you don't mind answering, and if you do no worries, but do you operate as a sole proprietor or LLC? Did you register as a DBA(Doing Business As)?
@@fargnbastagehey man if you don’t mind how do I get into a job like that? I work outside in pest control and I would love to see if that kind of work is for me?
Great binder 👌 only just got back into collecting as well. Got my old childhood cards mixed with my modern alt arts, some played- NM. You’ve got some really nice cards 👌
Very nice collection, really well displayed too. One thing I might suggest is a change of binder, since it's so important you may want to get a better one, not that vaultX is trash, just something with a bit more quality. I would suggest to take a look a Dragon Shield, probably the best, pick one up and you'll instantly understand what I mean they feel super expensive, a Gamegenic Prime would also be a good choice or even Dex Protection with their Velvet Interiors. VaultX too offers some more premium options too if you really like them, I'm partial to their all white binder recently released for example. While changing the binder you can also re-arrange the cards to have all the full art trainers together for example and not scattered in the binder which also looks good though, just a couple of random suggestions from someone that bought way too many binders in search for the perfect one lol, thanks for the video!
I'm in the same boat regarding buying too many binders haha, the only problem I've experienced with dragonshield is slotting in sleeved cards unless it's their own sleeves which is a lot more expensive than the regular penny sleeves but yes it's definitely the most premium feeling binder I own. Have you tried the gamegenic prime? If so does the strap hold up well when it's full? Cheers.
@@ryan6071 Hey! I personally never use penny sleeves, way too roomy for me so I never had issues with that. I use PYN here in Italy, great quality, great fit for basically all binders and €2 for 100 of them. The strap on gamegenic prime is good, definitly holds the cards down when full but too me it's maybe a bit too stiff, a bit too tight. I don't think it could ever damage the cards given that the cover is stiff and all but yeah, coming back to dragon shield, theirs is 100 times better. By far the best strap out of all my binders between UltraPro, VaultX, DexProtection, Gamegenic casual or not and a couple more, just the right tension and feel to me :D
@@maverickbonato8164 Absolutely, the strap is magnificent on the dragon shield. I'll stop the hunt for a new binder and try get myself some PYN sleeves instead, thanks for the help mate.
@@ryan6071 Not sure you can find PYN where you live being that I'm pretty sure they're an Italian brand, Sapphire does absolutely identical ones but in any case whatever this size: "63.5x88" should work. Glad to help! :)

I am collecting cards for fun with my 7 year old and she seems to be really into so i am looking for a book of some kind that we can look at and see what card we still need or what cards we have have, is there such book. I been so places where they sell pokeman cards and they dont know. need help

lots of high value stuff, makes me wonder why theyre not in top loaders and in a binder. i would never take chances with bends or anything like that.
