It's really interesting to see a Vendor channel that is also a big PC collector as well, I feel like a lot of the time you hear people have to detach themselves from the collecting in order to be successful but you're growing an awesome/wholesome channel here while building a bangin' PC, Kudos!
That is exactly my intention! We aren’t pocketing any money from the work we are doing believe it or not. It’s all going back into inventory and PC. Maybe as we grow, that will change. But for now, that’s how we do things. Thank you so much for noticing!
@@PocketmonTrapper I’ve only ever traded in 3 cards at a show and that was at 90% … I would never sell any of my cards at a show at 70% or even 80% . I don’t care if the vendor is paying for the table or whatever .. losing 20-30% of your cards value because they have something you want is no excuse for them to low ball you
Found this channel yesterday and binged watched all the videos. Really cool mix between PC and the vendor site. Keep the videos coming, really enjoy them
I i can’t name more than 10 Pokémon , don’t own a single Pokémon card , don’t follow the show , and have no idea about foils or grading but I love your channel and enjoy watching your enthusiasm of your hobby
MY BROTHER THE VIDEO IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THANK YOU! Love the game room, nice to see that you and your family enjoying the hobby. Again thank you for sharing this part of your collection with us!
This video made me emotional. Nice to see the love for the franchise. I grew up with Pokémon and still love it at the age of 30. Happy for you, that you are able to do this.
As someone who knows nothing about pkmn card collecting and got recommended this channel the other day, a gotta say first that I’ve watched almost every video already, so well edited and strangely fascinating! I’d love to see a video breaking down some of the lingo used in the community like “cracking,” “slabs,” “PSA,” etc. and also breaking down the economics of being a vendor, like the grading numbers, why trades go for 80% of market value and cash at 70%, and why cash is preferable to digital transactions. Keep up the good work!
This collection is absolutely insane. The master sets, the charizard binder, the sealed boxes, the slabs. Even down to the plushies. My gosh. Brings a tear to the eye 🥹 My god, I hadn’t even gotten to the game shelf yet 😮
The freehand camera here is actually a huge upgrade here. A big thing that held these videos back imo was the stagnant camera. Great job! Growing and learning!
1:13 That gyarados and marowak are fire tho 🔥 2:55 damn that binder is incredible bro! I can only dream about it haha base set, gym heroes set & team rocket set are my favourite sets of all time 💯 What a collection you already have, i love it man
Maybe you could organize your master binder in order of your favorite to least favorite, and your wife is a keeper especially when she gets you gameboy displays for gifts haha
Yo bro! Fire collection! Thanks for the show and tell. I just picked up the hobby again thanks to 151 since dropping it in my childhood and I love your collection. Really cool to see what a collection would look like from someone that hadn't dropped the hobby. The console collection is pretty dope too! Can't wait to see more from you
Thank you for showing us your collection. As someone whose just barely getting into it this month, this is pretty inspiring! Also your wife is a 10/10 for not only supporting your hobby but also getting involved in it =D One day, one day... ='}
Stumbled on this video in my recommended, it was really nice. Personally, I'm working on a "Pokedex" collection where I am collecting at least 1 card for every pokemon, and I'm looking for their first ever print (Example, Base set Pikachu instead of Jungle, and Greninja from XY Base instead of Twilight Masquerade). I've got a binder for each generation, and in the back of the binder I have my "extras" for that generation that I thought looked nice. I have the same idea as your "40 favorite pokemon" binder, except I narrowed mine down to 20. Very cool video, and thanks for sharing your collection!
I just recently found your channel and love the videos. I absolutely love your collection, wow it is amazing. My first big goal is to collect all the shining Pokémon and then start with Neo genesis and go on. But the shining cards are some of my all time favorite so they are my first big goal. The Southern Islands set is another huge set I plan on collecting. But I am currently in nursing school, and a parent, so these goals have to wait lol. But I love watching your videos and seeing all the amazing cards you deal with. And now seeing your personal collection made it that much better. Keep up the awesome work, thank you for all the videos.
I love that everyone if us in the community can appreciate and love pokemon in our own unique way, like myself im collecting full art trainers and trying to master set team rocket...i got out of the hobby around 2019 but decided to come back since i love pokemon no matter the age but at the cost of my wallet. Anywho love yours and wifes collection❤ looks fantastic regardless . Happy collecting to everyone & Best of luck on the pulls🎉🎉
Love hearing another collector say they don't care about first edition as well, people tend to be get so wrapped up about it. Absolutely love your arceus binder idea, that will be my next project!
I didn't know Rob Dyrdek became a Pokemon vendor! Super amazing collection though. I could seriously sit and spend hours into days just looking at and admiring everything in your game room.
A nice collection, especially like the shelfs with some special sets, I would agree with the ones you chose. I'm into the same. Especially Evolving Skies and Evolutions
Hi from Denmark! So coooooool! I love that you collect the base set 2, and that you dont care if its 1st edition or not. Really love that. Really cool psa slabs you have going on on the wall too, cant wait to follow along your collection as it grows : ) Thanks for the video
Such a cool video guys! It was very well put together, and great vibes. I always love seeing you at the card shows, and I can't wait to see your much deserved growth! Hope someday I can say that I knew Jarchomp Collectibles from before they blew up! 😋 See you at the next Utah con/card show -Trevor O.
that arceus binder is a cool idea! i just bought all of the printed cards of my favorite to put in a custom binder! (its morpeko, so they werent that much for near mint lol)
As a new charizard collector it was very inspiring yet daunting to see how mant charizard cards there are to collect! Do you happen to have a master list of charizard cards that I can reference (ans hopefully collect)? I love both the english and japanese cards so any list with the either of them would be appreciated if you happen to have one!! Love the video 👍✨✨
I wish to have 1% of your collection 😅. Great collection buddy. I'm slowly progressing myself into collecting. I love art rares, full art, chr cards and sealed/unsealed promos. I wish to have a binder full of these . Great video bro ❤
Awesome collection! Just started getting back into the hobby myself, wondering where you got the PSA slab stands from? would love to get some but having a tough time finding them, thanks!
Nice collection, thanks for sharing! I like to watch your videos from the shows. I'm also collecting Gym Heroes and Challange right now. Support from Sweden
So I was watching and, man that was so freaking awesome. Love the collection been collecting myself and this video made me think I'm not the only coolest person in the world 😂
Hey Jake, I was curious what kind of camera you guys used to film this? I really want to make collection videos about the art prints I collect and I own a DSLR but I’m unsure if it’s the right camera for the types of videos I want to make. Thank you so much, I really enjoy your videos!
Nice collection I just recently stumbled on your channel and I’m digging the setup and cards you and your wife are putting together good stuff brother 💪🔥🔥
Could you do a video and go through your 151 master set with the promos and everything? I’m getting back into tcg, haven’t touched since high school 2009ish HGSS. Starting with 151 and trying to complete :)
Bro sick collection I love that dark dragonnite I have it non holo I believe. Your wife's collection is cool really epic you get to collect together. My wife's not big into it but I remember trading around base set charizards like nothing in school. I do get to rip afew packs with my wife and boys tho which is fun. Blessings bro
The stuff you got is awesome. I'm a fellow collector who has all sorts of stuff from vintage to modern. The way you collect is really inspiring. I definitely have the itch to do master sets of vintage, but am kind of disheartened by the threat of mediocre condition when buying on ebay or wherever. For each card (including even the non holos) do you take your time trying to find cards in great condition to put in your binders? It's tough for me to want to commit to that sort of project as someone who is a bit of perfectionist so I end up just buying graded 10s to guarantee a condition level. Not great for the bank account, however.
Totally get the perfectionistic tendencies. For the master sets, I look for cards with no visible issues on the front (like creases) but don't worry about condition otherwise. You can tell I'm also a graded 10s kinda guy though with my wall slabs so it's a hard balance 😅
Such an awesome collection! Where do you buy your wall mounted graded card display and the display holders for your hand held consoles!!?? Also love the DS case idea for the color and advance games, did you make the labels for the cases yourself?
Got the labels/cases from etsy! Mounted grade card display is from the Bulbastore website and I believe we got the display holders for the hand held consoles from Amazon but Etsy also has them!
Your collection is awesome. Just be careful about stacking the booster boxes! The cardboard is so weak it might eventually warp the booster packs underneath if you go 3 or 4 high.
Was curious about the binders you use. I'm more a player and collect here and there. I've been wanting to collect a bit more here and there. Certain cards along with promos. What binders are you using here? Or do you recommend? I currently use these two more expensive dragon shield binders but want to look into a few other options maybe.

best part about being a vendor is adding stuff to your own pc at 70 to 80% of market price! love the collection Frannie, hope you find that Vaporeon
True, but traveling, and those vendor stands cost an arm and a leg with all that inventory so it's a loss up until you buy a certain amount of items.
That is the best part … trading and buying at those percentages alone is paying for the table
Agreed
Vendors can low as 50% and make excuses why they’re lowballing you.
@@PocketmonTrapper I’ve only ever traded in 3 cards at a show and that was at 90% … I would never sell any of my cards at a show at 70% or even 80% . Love that you collect in your own unique way
Having a PC like this makes you a more credible vendor in my eyes. You sell the way you’d wanna buy. Not to scam or rip ppl off. Thank you
Appreciate the kind words. I’m glad my passion for the hobby shines through!
I had the same opinion, seeing this collection shows how much you actually care for and appreciate the cards and hobby not just the money
