I wholeheartedly agree with this, a while ago I sold my collection because it was overwhelming me and taking over too much of my life. Then 151 came out and I fell in love. Now I’m solely focusing on a binder that will eventually have a master set of 151 as well as my favorite artworks of the original 151 Pokémon from sets I’ve accumulated along the way. As a 90s kid, the nostalgia helped me refocus as a collector. Having a goal and design in mind has made this hobby 10x more fun and more manageable than it was before!
I started collecting Pokémon cards just a few months ago and I’m from Dominican Republic and it’s been sooo hard, there ain’t many collectors or shops here, you can find some players, but collectors are hard to find. Your channel always inspires me to keep it up, even though it can be hard at times
I didn't know where to start, so I decided to begin 'project pokedex', where I'm filling a binder with one of every pokemon in National Dex order. Whenever i get a new card of a pokemon i already have, i decide which artwork i prefer and keep that one. Its super fun and means I can collect from any set :)
this for me hit home, i was a crazy collector once just garbbing anything and everything and never completing, now i focus on 1 set at a time and complete a binder and give dupelicates away to the pokemon community, Pat as always you are a legend my friend, keep bringing us gold videos like this, see you at CP2 in June
I’m most proud about the fact that at the start of the year I only had nine v’s and now I have over 200 alt arts, golden cards, v’s ,vmax’s, etc and this channel inspired me to do so, so thanks pat
This video helped me out so much! I am someone who collects and spends a lot of time researching and collecting not only Pokémon cards, but 80s toys, Funko Pops, Star Wars products, Masters of The Universe products, etc. and I struggle with storage. This video helped me out a lot with Pokémon card collecting! Thank you!
Im just collecting the cards I like. I love full arts, but when I go to card shows, I dont purchase every full art I come across. I only purchase it if I genuinely like it. I love opening my binder, and being happy every time I flip the page admiring the art work.
I love opening up Pokemon cards for my TH-cam Channel but what I’m most proud of is knowing that I found the love for Pokemon again. I’ve started my journey in June and since then I’ve been very happy. I don’t have a particular collection just yet but soon I will see what catches my eyes. Thanks Pat for everything you do for the community and I hope to one day be apart of these videos
i don’t collect pokemon cards, but i am still a fan of your channel and this advice has really impacted the way i sort and yugioh cards. i have been a professional player for the past few years and my desk is always covered in random yugioh cards that are either bulk or useful stuff. just having this advice has completely turned around my collection. thank you so much ❤️
As someone who's been in this for 25 years, this was actually all very good advice. Although I've rarely if ever let anything go. For the first 8 years of Pokémon I just collected everything - complete sets and every promo, but by the time of Gen 4, it all became too much and I just collected certain things. My main collections are Artist (Arita in JPN and ENG for example) or Species completism (JPN & ENG). I've got so many cards now that it's taken over parts of my house.
I'm proud of my all my vintage Japanese pokemon cards, bc there cards I never had growing up and I just feel like they have wider and better window where the pokemon art is being displayed. I love trying to learn a lil Japanese. To me there just better looking cards all around 💯
I remember pulling a Latias & Latios GX 170/181 in my first ever pack of Team Up about a year ago. I got it graded and it came back a gem mt 10. That is 100% what I am most proud of in my collection.
im most proud of my full art mega charizard from evolutions because for my birthday my cousin gave me on pack and i remember telling him i loved this particular card, then i got it! i'll never trade that card
If you re from USA you ll get a 10 🙂 Ask me from Europe... All the PSA 10 cards in usa aren't ten Simply dudes bribe them. Do you know that? I know this for sure. You just give them extra 100 dollars for each card🙂OUPS, did i say too much? 🙂
I started collecting last December with the goal to complete the National dex but with a twist of collecting them all in reverse holos. Now 6 months later I’m only 100 or so cards away from completing it. It isn’t worth a ton but when it’s done it will look amazing! Thanks for the tips Pat! See you at Card Party!
In general I try to collect any cards that has a different illustration, but trying to focus my collection to not spend too much, I go with my favorite pokemon! I almost completed my volcarona/slither wing/iron moth collection and I discovered special edition of these cards a week ago like a STAFF one that I never seen before and it's a must now hahaha
Been collecting groudon! Was losing hope but at trade night I managed to find 3! Honestly, I do look at my collection ALOT. It’s been definitely helping me determine what can come and go. We sort our bulk in empty ETBs and label them. Might be doing something with our bulk involving our trip to Card Party 😏😉
About 10 years ago, my mom used to babysit this kid that had a bunch of Pokémon cards. Despite my many other cards collection, Pokémon wasn't something I'd wanted to collect or play. Now, in my 30s, I started going back to some old hobbies and found a box full of cards that kid left in my parents house. Guess what? I guess I got a collection going now.
I like how you talk about how some people get jealous when people have bigger collections than them and I can relate! And this video helped me a lot with working on that issue I struggle with in general.
Pat, I think I’m most proud of my Trainer Gallery collection. I haven’t completed any yet because prices are insane 😅 but I have made great progress. Thanks for being an inspiration to us all DPM, see u at Card Party 🎉
“Comparison is often the thief of joy” is so true in collecting! I think one thing you left out is do NOT let FOMO dictate how you collect or cause impulse buys. But yeah great overall video, staying in your lane is easily the most important thing!
I am one of the many who recently returned to collecting because of 151. I'm still figuring out my collection and where I want to go, first it was full arts then I started collecting vintage. Now I want to complete base set thru gym challenge heros, along with randomly picking up cards I like. Still figuring out this process but this video was very informational!
My sister started to collect last month and it got me and my mom hooked back to pokemon. This has been really enlightening video… setting goals is really the way, it can get really overwhelming. Thank you for sharing! I’m a big fan!
Videos like this are always nice to watch from time to time. It really helps you stay down to earth, and remember that as a long time collector these things may be obvious to me, but that's not true for everyone. Especially for people just getting into collecting for the first time.
0:48 YES SORT IT BEFPRE YOU IGNORE IT so awhile back i bought a booster pack to help my friends with a master set but when the day came to give it to him i lost it i put it on my shelf and boom its gone.
Well made Video! I'm a Nintendo Collector that collect games, consoles, pokemon cards and figures and your tip works on both card collecting and games collecting 😁
What's not awesome though is the 100s of Millions of dollars people used to grade WOTC VINTAGE Packs that are now worth 20% of the value they were when he was pumping grading them. Almost none were graded before Deep pocket Monster promoted him grading his packs. Now he's created 10S OF MILLIONS IN DAMAGES FOR HIS SO CALLED FANS.
@@TomThePokeKid Sure buddy! What's really sad is it's a MONEY GAME and Pat wouldn't be doing his channel if it weren't for the money. And that money mostly comes from CHILDREN. THAT in itself is pathetic and sad!
@@TomThePokeKid and when 90% of his followers are CHILDREN, that makes the money he makes off pokemon COME FROM CHILDREN, especially with his extra sponsors. Not TH-cam!! After all that is simple math, which any child, let alone you an adult should be able to do!
that last one is so true that hit me last week, and I was jealous. In the end I am happy with the cards I have collected and will slowly progress them to where I want to be in the future
Just saw this for the first time... I'm begining my Pokemon Collection and my first goal is to complete all the Trick or Trade sets and get all the Mareep cards (English only for now). Later, I'll think of something else but for now, I'm pretty happy that my goals are very straight, can be done with a low budget and are relatively quick to achive. Enjoy your collections and have a great day!
Man... I really wished I watched this video sooner(and this channel as a whole really) When I was a lot younger, like during the early 2000s, I did collect quite a bit of pokemon cards and I knew gen 1 like the back of my hand. But as I grew older, I started to get busy with life and all. For some reason, earlier this year, after almost 2 decades, now with some adult money, I started to fall in love with collecting again(though what brought me back was one piece TCG initially), but this channel has really been a blessing and I'm just so happy seeing all the videos and collecting cards again myself. I feel like, in a way, I'm now trying to slowly heal the inner child inside of me who had to stop collecting at one point in time for whatever reason. Thank you, pat. Just...thank you
I just started collecting last week, I have no concern of how impressive or expensive my collection is, I just enjoy seeing the different art for each card and like getting a bunch of new art to look at, it is just satisfying to see, and the rare cards are just a coll little treat that deserves to be displayed on its own. It is very much like videogame collecting. I just enjoy seeing it all together.
I like to hold on to one of each card- like the holos or best condition one- and donate/trade the rest. I order them by type and dex number in my binders, and the act of ordering them that way is therapeutic and nostalgic to me. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the expanse of expensive and new pokemon card out there, but every time I reoder my cards I am reminded why I have them.
I like the last tip. Collect what you like. I had over 100 Slabs of vintage cards. I didn’t like them better than Binders soooo I sold them all and went back to collecting in a binder. Nothing is cooler than unzipping a binder full of Pokémon cards. For me, I ONLY collect based off artwork.
As somebody who recently sorted through 2 years worth of Pokemon Card collecting I can honestly say this is one of the most helpful videos I've ever seen - Sort it before you ignore it 😎
At first i collected everything. Now i sold almost everything and only collect Steelix PSA cards. This makes collecting indeed way more fun. I would never tought i would own a Shining card in PSA. But here i am proudly with my Shining Steelix in a PSA9. Holy grail for me atleast. Collecting slabs for me is way more fun now so that i can showcase and display my pride and joy. Happy New year and keep it up 👌
After 6 years of collecting, I’ve finally focused in on one single binder. It’s a 16x16-1024 total-master binder. I collect, for example, my 4 favorite Arcanine cards. When a new, cooler arcanine comes around, I’ll replace an old one by selling it and using the funds to buy the new arcanine. Super focused and it makes collecting endless and fun for me!
I’m glad I watched this video, I’ve been on a journey to complete every set but I’ve decided to just try to collect every buizel card since it’s my favorite Pokémon, it is definitely more rewarding every time I get one.
I learned this the hard way when i got back in to collecting. Now im just sticking to collecting the all the artworks of my fave mon and maybe making the effort to complete smaller sets! Awesome vid DPM! Asking for that refill with a water hose took me out lol!
I just started collecting. Very lightly though. In the theme of "catch 'em all" my goal is to make a "living dex" from packs my wife and I have exclusively opened. Our rarest or favorite card will take up each pokemon spot and replace previous editions with newer/better ones as we continue to open more packs. Keeping in separate binder(s) the other cards we just like
Last year, I bought the Pokemon Holiday Collection and out of one pack of Evolving Skies, pulled the Rayquaza VMAX. I was in shock, to say the least....my best pull ever. My actual collection goals are really to complete modern sets as they are released (started getting back into it with Celebrations.). Also, I do collect Eevee and all it's evolutions in a special binder. That bulk adds up for sure, and I sell some singles that are duplicates but agree the selling side is another discussion. Thanks Pat!!
im mostly proud of my winnings from other poketubers. it has a lot of sentimental value and the cards are most important to me. i don't want to sell them it's just that Pokemon to me are like family, in my opinion and the artwork is so real. i hope to learn more about Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh collecting at card party 2.
Only been getting back into Pokemon over the past few months now, collecting for nostalgia and also something I can hand down to my son one day every card I get now gets put into a binder with the thought of one day when my son looks at this he will have the same smile and wow factor that I had 😊 Pat I love your content also try my best to watch everything I can especially the lives you do great work mate 👍🏻
So happy to learn I am collecting "the right way". I am much like the Rayquaza girl, but collecting Snorunt and Froslass. I'm pretty far with the English and Japanese cards, but my lane sometimes gets wider. I learned about Japanese sets having both Unlimited and First Edition cards, for example. New sets keep coming, of course. And then there are the remaining languages, which I am keeping as a stretch goal for now. The hardest part is to resist the urge to buy ETBs, as collecting a species means buying singles and not really pulling them yourself!
I'm a little under 3 minutes into this video and god damn 😂 The production is so, so on point 🙌 Points so far have been good too, especially NOT TRYING TO COLLECT EVERY CARD, IN EVERY EXPANSION, FROM EVERY SERIES. I think targeting specific cards is crucial! Awesome content man, keep it up, awesome knowledge for the Community. ❤
I have two binders in my collection. One is for all my hits/single purchases, which include all the "good valuable" stuff, and in my second binder, I simply collect holos, foils, and reverse holo rares. These don't hold monetary value, but keeping them in a separate binder is satisfactory to me because I see a collage of different colors and pokemon that I really like. I don't have that much bulk, but I do keep it safely stored in an ETB box. I'll probably end up giving it to younger kids who are getting into the pokemon community and are looking to kick-start their collections. Happy collecting everyone!
I just back into the TCG after not playing or buying in almost 20 years. All these new card styles are so overwhelming but I know what I want to collect so hopefully it won’t be too bad
Absolutely love this. I’m collecting 151 until I have the full English set. Not the master, just one of each card. I don’t collect any other Pokemon. I keep it Simple, and all I need/enjoy.
I am a Boltund Collector! I collect Boltund and Pokémon related to it. I also work towards collecting sets that I simply enjoy. It is as simple as that. I have recently come to appreciate Full art trainer cards so it is my "If I come across it, I might add it" collection! There are other Pokémon that I really enjoy and if I find an art I like, LET's GO!
I only collect cubone and art that I like. Nothing for value, just for fun! I get a ton of joy digging through bulk bins to find commons with art that I really enjoy.
I’m currently trying to complete my Scarlet and Violet base set. I am a big collector of stadiums (I never knew why, I just kind of got hooked on them😅), and in over 10 years, I still don’t have cards for all of the eeveelutions so I’m working on that too. I have had all of my cards for so long that, when it comes to trading, I don’t really like it because I have become attached to all of the cards in my collection😅 I hope to meet you one day, keep up the great work!❤️
I recently(sommer 2023) started again to collect pokemon cards(first time since my youth) and your Videos about how to collect, storage and binder behavior really save me :D i am about to complete my master set of 151 :D just two cards missing!
FANTASTIC video! Figuring out what to collect is a challenge. there are too many cards to catch them all (unless you have an unlimited budget). I try to adhere to most of these already, fortunately. I work towards "sets" by only keeping 1 copy of any card I pull. Exceptions would be the big hitter names that may appreciate over time. (rayquaza, pikachu, starters, etc).
This was one of the best videos you have made. It was super inspiring. The collection I’m very proud of is my Charizard collection. I have over 30 super rare Charizards.
The don't compare and the stay on lane are the best ones, I love my dex, simple, I know people have complete sets or ilustration rare dex, but building my own on a budget has been an amazing experience
I actually collection One Piece TCG not Pokemon, but I always getting some knowledge on your videos! Thanks for making me Happy on Collecting some Cards!
I collect Gold Energies, so finding a gold fairy energy in pretty decent condition was really special to me, I also put initials on ANY sleeves of cards gifted to me.
So proud of our 151-master set it was the second set that we really stayed with to master after having to sell our 98% zenith set to pay for expenses but between trading and opening it really was a ton of fun and has increased the love of the hobby 10x.
Well for me I got a 151 binder for Christmas I got a few art cards but the really good thing was when I got scarlet and violet packs I got the really rare Miriam alt art and I keep it in a mini binder and keep it in that chest so nobody steals it
Im 25 years deep in this. Ive collected competitive decks mostly. Ive got binders full of bulk UR's and alt arts for trading puposes, one binder for mewtwo, a binder for rayquaza, and a binder for pikachu. Anything after that gets sold or given to little kids at events.
Honestly I am simply collecting stuff for the sake of it, but in moderation, a pack a week is enough to keep me joyful and excited for the next one, maybe even picking up a ETB once in a while when I have enough spare change, but just collecting those cards and putting them in a binder in the dex order is so therapeutic for me.
Could not agree more, specially with the "don't catch them all" rule. Some of my friends like to buy whatever set is new; they watch videos of people opening packs and the hype controls them. Then, another collection hits the stores a few months later and this new collection is the new big thing they HAD to have. As a result, the spent a lot of money to be able to ride on this "It's new" hype train and instead of enjoying the cards they already have, suffer for the cards they still don't. I started collecting full sets because I liked the overall theme of the set, but I found myself buying cards that I don't really liked that much just for the sake of having the full set. Then, after giving it a few weeks of deep thinking, I started a new collection: my favorite art of every pokemon, in national pokedex order. This has made collecting cards cheaper, with a achievable goal and with a collection I fully love, as each card has been selected for my personal taste. And if in the future there is another art that I love more than the one I already have, I can always switch cards. Great video, and great points!!
i mostly collect alt art cards since i'm an artist myself, the art on pokemon cards is so wonderful what I am most proud of in my pokemon card collection is my ingo and emmet card I have, they are my favs from pokemon and when I finally got my hands on a full art card from them I am so happy, it is still a of the cards I am most proud of
I have a binder for each generation its a mix of different sets in national pokadex number and its just cool to see the different artworks all together i didnt grow up with anime anything in the household so getting to grow up and love the cards so much and to have a collection has just been super fun
Most proud of my Machamp Alt Art from Astrial Radiance because I hunted that card like crazy and finally pulled it with my buddies on a bachelor party weekend!!
I had been collecting for years, but it stopped being fun. I ended up with 2 boxes full of cards and sealed product that I was never going to open and it sat there. The entire collection is now with someone who’s currently going through the lot to come up with a reasonable price.
Your videos and shorts got me to collecting pokemon cards haha.. for now i started with japanese pokemon cards since it's cheaper.. once I graduate I'll start colelcting the english cards hehe
I’m a Wolverine comic collector. I have the complete 1982 limited series cgc graded. 1 and 2 are signed by Frank Miller, 3 and 4 are double signed by Chris Claremont and Joe Rubinstein
I just started a 151 binder as a child i played pokemon cards in a league on the weekend. The original cards have nostalgia for me so the 151 are perfect and the only ones i care for other than the original base sets
I needed this. I still haven't completely found out, what I wanna focus on, so I've been doing a little of everything.. Time to narrow it down and focus on one or two things 💪
I have a pretty decent selection of cards from vintage to modern. But my favorite card in my collection is damaged beyond belief. It is a holo delta species Typhlosion that my brother and I cherished as a kid, but one day my brother forgot it was in his pocket and it got washed. In a desperate attempt to save it we took packing tape and bound it back together. Miraculously it is still in one piece!
as a collector that just started last december, i must say that it took me about 1 month prior to decide what i want to collect. and i have not regretted taking my time to decide because i realised that i am a sucker for art rares and illustration rares and have started collecting them ever since. 2 months later, i have a binder that is almost full of art rare, illustration rare, and trainer gallery cards. it is a binder that i will never sell
im an OG (im old) i completely collected Scarlet and Violet 151 base because it brought me back to my childhood in the 90s, i started binge watching all the episodes starting from season 1 and im season Advanced Battle now, damn I'm not sure if I'm going to weather the voice changes I see that are coming up. My wish is for a Johto set to come out now to continue where 151 ended. Until then I bought a binder and I'm sorting per generation per what I've watched (waiting for a modern chikorita 😉) based on pokedex numbers. When I open packs now I don't really care too much about the crazy chase cards, it's more like Yes!! my first Skitty and now I gotta get another pack for Delcatty!! 😂
I barely just started collecting pokemon cards and this video really made me feel happy with my small collection I have atm. My goal is to get as many gyarados I can find, but of course collect a lot of cool looking pokemon cards. Amazing and helpful video ❤️
Wholesome advice that everyone can use, you did it again Pat! Fantastic video that brings positivity to some who may be trying to "drink from a fire hose" 👨🏼🚒
I love my Yuka Morri (clay) and Asako Ito (yarn) arts and crafts collection! current favorites I own are drapion v from crown zenith and altaria also from crown zenith. Goal is to get something more vintage next!
Just got into pokemon collection and was astonished how expensive it was, even buying new sets and stuff is expensive. I remember it used to be 3$ per booster pack
My collecting journey became much more pleasant when I decided to collect specific Pokémon. I decided to stick with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle for nostalgia, Eevee and its Eeveelutions plus I have a soft spot for Seedot and Lechonk since I'm spanish and a huge fan of Iberian Ham which comes from black iberian pigs (Lechonk) fed with acorns (Seedot).
That fire hose scene in the end 😂 But my favorite card in my collection is the secret rare iono from Paldea evolved ! My 8 year old niece pulled and I plan on holding on to it for her and giving it to her once she’s older 😊

The "don't compare your collection to others" sentiment is a great lesson in general and can be applied to many aspects of your life. Love it dude!
Tell that to missprint collectors, also comparing with others could give you ideas how to organize it to look much better

I’ve had so many regrets from 6 year old me putting valuable cards in a deck without sleeping them.
yeah same :(
Sleeping

@@Kagiku don't pick the low hanging fruit
Got to tuck your collection into bed😂
Videos like this are always nice to watch from time to time.
It really helps you stay down to earth, and remember that as a long time collector these things may be obvious to me, but that's not true for everyone. Especially for people just getting into collecting for the first time.
This is the best TH-cam pokemon channel
0:48 YES SORT IT BEFPRE YOU IGNORE IT so awhile back i bought a booster pack to help my friends with a master set but when the day came to give it to him i lost it i put it on my shelf and boom its gone.
Well made Video! I'm a Nintendo Collector that collect games, consoles, pokemon cards and figures and your tip works on both card collecting and games collecting 😁
I love how you can really tell how much time and effort pat puts into his videos it’s awesome
@@MeetJarred Can’t him for people “choosing” to do what they want with their stuff. 😂
@@TomThePokeKid Sure buddy! What's really sad is it's a MONEY GAME and Pat wouldn't be doing his channel if it weren't for the money. And that money mostly comes from CHILDREN. THAT in itself is pathetic and sad!
@@MeetJarred Money comes from TH-cam…. Not children…. Go someone else and be negative.
@@TomThePokeKid and when 90% of his followers are CHILDREN, that makes the money he makes off pokemon COME FROM CHILDREN, especially with his extra sponsors. Not TH-cam!! After all that is simple math, which any child, let alone you an adult should be able to do!
We appreciate you DPM! 🙏🙏
The greatest app of all time :D and free! Nuts!
that last one is so true that hit me last week, and I was jealous.
I’m pretty new to getting back into pokemon cards, but my highlights are my base set squirtle that I got for 4$ and my shiny mew full art I pulled
Keeping in separate binder(s) the other cards we just like
Oh that is a good idea!
I’ve been buying singles and it’s been so much fun :). Seeing my collection come together and building cards that I like!
I just back into the TCG after not playing or buying in almost 20 years. All these new card styles are so overwhelming but I know what I want to collect so hopefully it won’t be too bad
I look at other's their collections and use it to tell myself that it's possible to achieve it. I use it as motivation.
Absolutely love this. I’m collecting 151 until I have the full English set. Not the master, just one of each card. I don’t collect any other Pokemon. I keep it Simple, and all I need/enjoy.
Me sleaving my bulk 😂
Same lmao 💀 some of them just have cool art
Exactly Lotta cards just look really kool
I am a Boltund Collector! I collect Boltund and Pokémon related to it. I also work towards collecting sets that I simply enjoy. It is as simple as that. I have recently come to appreciate Full art trainer cards so it is my "If I come across it, I might add it" collection! There are other Pokémon that I really enjoy and if I find an art I like, LET's GO!
LOVED this! Great reminders! I’m most proud of my artist binder collections and specific pokemon collection binders
I have had all of my cards for so long that, when it comes to trading, I don’t really like it because I have become attached to all of the cards in my collection😅
I hope to meet you one day, keep up the great work!❤️
Great advice, collector's fatigue is real. I love collecting cute + fairy Pokemon and my favorite Poko is Psyduck. :)
Lovely idea with how to sort bulk! I’m going to jump into that right away!
My Goal - Binder full of SNOM
And here I was thinking I was bad with my Eevees and eeveelutions. 😅
Bro, My favorite Pokémon was snom when I started, So I gave away my other cards😂😢
YES
The don't compare and the stay on lane are the best ones, I love my dex, simple, I know people have complete sets or ilustration rare dex, but building my own on a budget has been an amazing experience
I actually collection One Piece TCG not Pokemon, but I always getting some knowledge on your videos! Thanks for making me Happy on Collecting some Cards!
I collect Gold Energies, so finding a gold fairy energy in pretty decent condition was really special to me, I also put initials on ANY sleeves of cards gifted to me.
Insane production value and storytelling! Keep it up 😊
So proud of our 151-master set it was the second set that we really stayed with to master after having to sell our 98% zenith set to pay for expenses but between trading and opening it really was a ton of fun and has increased the love of the hobby 10x.
The custom rayquaza’s at 3:13 that look like Yu Nagaba cards? Chefs kiss ❤️
I like how you try to let us memorier things by melody. Burning it into the mind
DPM! your content is unlike anyone elses in the poketube space. keep doing your thing!
Figure that out?
I have a pretty decent selection of cards from vintage to modern. But my favorite card in my collection is damaged beyond belief. It is a holo delta species Typhlosion that my brother and I cherished as a kid, but one day my brother forgot it was in his pocket and it got washed. In a desperate attempt to save it we took packing tape and bound it back together. Miraculously it is still in one piece!
Awesome video pat. I only recently got back into collecting but love looking back at cards I had as a kid
as a collector that just started last december, i must say that it took me about 1 month prior to decide what i want to collect. and i have not regretted taking my time to decide because i realised that i am a sucker for art rares and illustration rares and have started collecting them ever since. 2 months later, i have a binder that is almost full of art rare, illustration rare, and trainer gallery cards. it is a binder that i will never sell
My binder is an absolute mess 😂 Thanks for the vid man we needed a continuation to the BAD --- BEHAVIOUR series haha
im an OG (im old) i completely collected Scarlet and Violet 151 base because it brought me back to my childhood in the 90s, i started binge watching all the episodes starting from season 1 and im season Advanced Battle now, damn I'm not sure if I'm going to weather the voice changes I see that are coming up.
Love this content so much. Also very helpful when my son and I are just starting our journey into the collection aspect of Pokemon
I barely just started collecting pokemon cards and this video really made me feel happy with my small collection I have atm. My goal is to get as many gyarados I can find, but of course collect a lot of cool looking pokemon cards. Amazing and helpful video ❤️
Can you please do a video of collecting every charazard❤
Wholesome advice that everyone can use, you did it again Pat! Fantastic video that brings positivity to some who may be trying to "drink from a fire hose" 👨🏼🚒
such a great video man, really one of the best I’ve ever seen, the knowledge, the humor, everything so on point.
That fire hose scene in the end 😂
But my favorite card in my collection is the secret rare iono from Paldea evolved ! My 8 year old niece pulled and I plan on holding on to it for her and giving it to her once she’s older 😊
