- Our Predator 420cc Coleman CT-200 mini bike build runs, but we needed to button it up with a battery for electric start, wiring for the headlight, a rack for mounting gear to, extra width for the foot pegs, and touch up paint.

U should talk to go power sports about developing a Kevlar belt for the tav so that you can go threw water without ruining the belt every time

They can leak, even when new. Unlikely, but we didn't want to take the chance in the wilderness 30 miles from a air pump.

Hopefully the slime helps out. If I were going to do any serious off road riding, I would get better quality tires. I do not trust the tires that come stock on the Coleman at all. And you guys added a ton more weight to the bike.

Dude that thing is such a beast. I was thinking of swapping my 196 for a 212 but shit I might go for this now lol only difference I would do is I would take the fake gas tank off and mount a peanut tank on the frame

Mill the head for higher elevation. You will lose compression, you don't have the pressure pushing in through the carburetor to fill up the combustion chamber.

Your videos are good great job on all your bikes but I was just wondering instead of twist throttle you can use a break lever for gas throttle instead of twist type I use it on mine easier to pull than twist...Do u have to break in a mini bike or not have ct200u ex

i have the exact same bike i painted it black and left the baige and it made it look like some desert storm type shit
I would love to find a frame similar to the Coleman, maybe a tad more room for an engine, and throw in a built Predator 670. 40-50 Hp on tap, wide rear drag tire with lightweight skinny larger tire up front, and a wheelie bar. The Coleman CT200U Frame looks perfect for a Predator 670 Twin, you just need 18" of Clearance in height to fit one in, engine is about 16.5" tall.

I need some advice seeing as you guys have gone through it. I bought a ct200ex so I could get shocks and lighting. I've got stage 2/3 build already for the 212. I love speed but also enjoy trail riding. Would the 420 just be way to large to comfortably ride trails? What's your thoughts?

im no expert, but when you were welding the 2 halves of the rack together, shouldnt you have made a bevel edge on the tube ends first? i know its not going to hold serious weight but the weld comes out better and is easier to clean up... either way love the build!
Tony Fleetwood haha you must be new here, almost everything they weld is questionable, but to answer your question, yes, beveled edges penetrate better than just butting up the edges and welding over them thats how my harley frames get welded when I either build a frame or throw on a hardtail

Try 5 to 6 psi in the tires without suspension. Soooo much nicer. 10 psi is brutal.
I have a go kart older than me with a 5hp Briggs and Stratton motor I’m willing to trade all it needs is a fuel tank and carb was very fast
That battery does look small enough to put in a gas tank then it doesn't stand out where everybody can see it
or it wont be sticking out to get damaged off roading. . just a thought. . If the keep it where it is, maybe, not even a battery box, but a small piece of metal on the outside surface to prevent puncturing it. . just a thot. . peace, Eric
