For example, when we built our house, all our doors, even those for bathrooms have the same height of 2.4 mtrs and width of 1 mtr, floors are continuously flat, even from hallway to bathrooms and within the bathrooms, we have a ramp fr service gate entrance to main door. All these are in consideration of using a wheelchair in the future.

I'm just like you, very detailed, but sometimes I get tired of it and wished that I could just live through life in my house without being so obsess about it. My house was constructed 10 years ago and I have the same ideas as you, like the bathroom drains, ceiling height, perfect tile layout, mood lighting, etc etc and still today I'm looking at the all the failed details in my house. I'm having dinner and I'm looking at the wall thinking maybe it is not so straight and I forget about enjoying my food. On the 11:00 mark, you are replacing sockets that don't accommodate ground so you will need an adapter if you replace that. The original socket has the ground provision. The replacement looks better but not practical. Just my thoughts.
