This is really an amazing project here in Cebu. Keep in mind that aside from the house, you're also paying for the exclusivity, safety, and most especially the spectacular view. The construction of Skypod 2.0 is not yet done. Relax lang mo diha. HAHAHA Good job Boss Slater
This reminds me of mansions from Hollywood Hills, CA which I only see in Enes Yilmazer's TH-cam channel. He produces the BEST house tours ever so you guys might wanna check him out. Sky Pod 2.0 is one of the best properties I've seen in our country so far considering the setting, view, design and the vibes itself is very far from the normal hotel-like designs we see in "luxury" properties. I can only hope we have developments like this in Antipolo or Taytay but even if we do, I think I might have to sell my soul just to afford one hahahaha. Dear Engineer, I hope you'll include the estimated value of this property in your future vids. I'm really looking forward to build a house of this quality soon.

Slater's videos answers all the question I had before in maintaining our house. Before I thought there's no way to fix some of the problems like the builders we get always say " Ganyan talaga yan ma'am eh". As a female who just depends on their expertise on the matter have no choice but to accept too. Now because of these videos, we are a bit educated and maiiwasan na maloko kami.

College pa lang ako, in my surveying class, pumunta kami dito to do some field activities. Since then, pangarap ko na magkabahay sa Monterazzas. Hanggang ngayon, pangarap parin 🤣.

When I went to Cebu, I was a bit alarmed that many mountainous areas are converted into housing area, I don't know if it just me. NAKAKASAD kasi to ung mga bundok tapos marami ng natanggal na trees tapos ang makikita na is ung soil pag nasa centro ka ng city. But what you are building is really a beautiful house.

Di ako mahilig sa ganitong video pero tinapos ko kasi puro tulo bubong namin hahaha kahit malinis gutter, tuluan ng tuluan. Siguro kailangan narin ng water proofing kasi sa mismong slab na lumalabas tubig.
Payong fan lang, Ingat lang sa mga projects mo lodi dahil baka yan ang magpabagsak sayo tulad sa mga pilikula, normal sa tao ang magkamali katulad doon sa mismong bahay mo na hindi mo alam sa future na tuwing umuulan ay nababasa at nagkaka-amag. Dito sa pinas ay panay ang mga bagyo at ulan kaya mapanganib ang project na ito, wag sana humantong na meron madisgrasya at pagbayarin kayo at maperwesyo ang marami pati pamilya mo.
Tama ka dyan. Kahit gaano ka tibay pa yan pag nature na mismo kinalaban mo wala magagawa yan. Ulan at earthquake kalaban ng mga ganyang lugar. Kaya hindi talaga advisable na magtayo ng bahay sa mga ganyan na lugar. Sa umpisa mukhang okay yan pero as the times goes dun na papasok mga problem nyan.

Tama, ang aksidente ay walang may gusto at di alam kung kelan mangyayari pero ang alam natin kung saan ito magmumula at ano ang pagmumulan kaya habang hindi pa nangyayari ay iwasan at maging maingat at manalangin na ilayo sa disgrasya para manatiling masaya ang lahat.

About naman sa bahay nya, nung bumagyo kitang kita naman na kahit puro glass yung bahay nya naka survive sa bagyo at halos minimal lang ang damage, unlike sa mga bahay na sementado talaga yun nasira talaga, kung mapapanood mo yung vlog ni ms.kryz uy yung house ng sister nya nasira talaga glass and cement yun

Alam kong ginastosan niya yun ng maige dahil pamilya niya ang titira doon subalit nabanggit niya na ang ama niya ang nag payo na lagyan ng tempered glass para matibay sa hangin, atsaka magkaiba ang nakalatag sa lupa at sa nakadikit sa gilid ng bundok, kahit bata ay alam kung alin ang dilikado rito, ang punto dito ay kaligtasan ng marami hindi ang kita ng iilan na sa bandang huli ay meron pagsisisi.
The buttom line, we cannot say na hindi yan safe, at delikado yan bec hindi tayo expert sa ganitong trabaho.
Bago yan mapatayo madami yang permits, sana doon palang di na napush through.

Very helpful! Answered some of my questions re leaks and waterproofing. Even yung concern ko sa gutter kasi yung gutter ng roof namin sa likod ng house lang ang nasira but the rest of the perimeter ng roof intact and good condition. Nabwisit lang din ako sa developer when I asked them to repair kasi repaid na bara bara lang so Im looking into contracting a private firm na.

@@likha360 they didnt completely destroyed the landscape and they even adjusted to it. Look how the houses were arranged. And one of the green designs theyre using is the use of liteblock. Liteblock is an improved version of a concrete hollow block; which helps insulating the heat (less use of electricity), its also durable and easy to use, saving you money if your carpenters accidentally drop it. This material is both economical and eco-friendly, saving you both your pocket and the environment. Ge lods, exam sah ko
In Cebu, it is a crime to cut or destroy a mature tree that can land you in prison and a pay some amount along with it as a penalty. Here, it is a MUST that whenever you cut or fell a mature tree for any type of development you need to plant 100 saplings. DENR is always involved in every construction project you do as they're the ones who may allow you or not to cut down any tree growing in your lot. They may not allow you to cut down endemic trees which are 100 years or older but build around it. But you also have other option like earth-balling but that can be very expensive, that is if you don't want to be bothered by tree planting in a site that DENR will determine.

Nice to see passion, although personally I would like to see more of a organic look. It’s a opportunity for Slater to mould a contemporary organic architectural Filipino style. Personally think he’s missing a trick here. Replicating modernist designs is cool but there’s nothing truly new here. I will build maybe one or two house in the Philippines…One beach house and one mountain getaway. The Philippines has some great architects, give them a brief …with vision…simplicity is the key to great design.

These houses are a dream to me, but I'm fairly skeptical with its foundation kay mura man ni ug anapog ang yuta. how deep is the bedrock on this mountain? Also there is a Faultline near this area as well, so I'm concerned if these houses are capable of withstanding seismic events... hope they do get seismic dampeners installed for added safety.

Question: do you apply waterproofing on ground level without basement structures for wet areas?
From what I've gathered u still need to apply a waterproofing sealant in order to lock out moisture, like if its concrete so it lasts longer
