This will be the very last (and the grandest) episode of the #Skypod tour series. We’re taking you to our living area, dining area, all the way to our master's bedroom, my walk-in closet PLUS my newly finished home office and guest room!
Woohoo! Can you believe it? After a year of planning (big shoutout to LLG Architects), constructing, painting (thank you ISLAND PAINTS!) buying a whole lot of furniture and home decors, the SKYPOD has finally come to life (well, almost! We still have to decorate our baby’s room but you get the point!)

Among all the artists who did a house tour, this is the only house that I'm in love with😍. I don't know why but this is somewhat similar to what I want my house to be but a little bit more earthy, you know with a lot of plants, a big backyard and frontyard with a lot of plants 'again' (nature is life). Anyways, even though my opinion is not needed, I super duper love this house🤗.
This house feels like one of the featured houses in Crazy Rich Asians!! They are the "Youngs" of Cebu... old money indeed haha.

This was the first video of yours i ever watched and this is what got me excited about home building and materials interiors all the intricacies and i moved on to binge watch house tours (after this video because i loved it so much) I now go to bed every night for the past year thinking about what my dream home will be like. 2 years of non stop research and this video is still imprinted in my heart. You have a beautiful home.
This house or should I say home, is amazing and I really like how it isn't the typical rich people house where everything is black & white and full of marble. It looks cozy as hell and has character. The couple is lovely as well and you can tell they merged their ideas together for this home.

Hats off to Slater Young. Engineer who respectfully hired an architect (LLG). Most engineers in the country practice architecture which is illegal (lol) so thanks for respecting our profession, sir!

RA 545 states that architecture may be practiced by Architects and Civil Engineers. However, in the newer version of the law (RA 9266) States that ONLY Architects can practice architecture and sign architectural plans and documents. Also, building officials shall only accept architectural plans signed and sealed by licensed architects ONLY. Let's rise again at the top of the constrcution industry as the prime professionals.
And to enlighten non-architects or architecture students here: Architects studied the basics of various engineering courses such as Civil, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, and Electronics for they are the only ones befitting the role of the project leader. In addition, Civil Engineers don't even have a single semester of Architectural Design subject which extensively trains one to plan specific spaces functionally with the consideration of human psychology, climate, environmental impact, maximum passive comfort, energy savings, monetary savings, land and property investments, and of course Cultural Identity. Architecture is never just about aesthetics. It is always about harmoniously balancing humanity with the environment.

Needless to say, the house is sublimely impressive. But what impressed me more was Slater's mien during the whole tour. Calm, cool, and collected. It didn't feel as if he was lording his achievement to the viewers. Rather, ironically enough, he seemed humbled by the magnanimity of his own creation 😌

Some people hating on the “little space” and “humble abode” - stay salty! This is the couple’s own little space and humble abode. They can brag about it all they want because this is part of their hardwork and dream. This is also obviously Kryz’s channel so she can have vlogs about their house all the time. Some people are just too envious and unappreciative of other people’s happiness and achieved goals.
