  • This is my 2nd time of doing some slow speed manoeuvrability exercises.
It didn't go that well, proving the need to practice more... a no brainer.
Perhaps a bit of a boring vid, but I wanted to show that it isn't as easy as it looks... at least: not for me. Practice, Practice, Practice!

It's a great spot indeed. I only need to increase the frequency. But we'll get there

You're doing well again. I look forward to being there next time. The location looks good. Keep practicing, and don't forget to lean and look carefully around the bend. As for the cramp in your hand, a little pinch training will help.

Great vid showing the manoeuvrability of a big bike. I love the RT but not sure I could handle the weight, I am 68 and 5'10" no big bike experiance but can flat foot the RT so very tempted..........

Which bikes did you ride? Once it rolls, it is very easy to handle

@@FlatTwinTherapy Thanks for the reply .Back in the day it was small 125cc machines but I have had 2 back to bike courses recently on 650 cc's. It is the man handling around that worries me more..

I can imagine that. And that also differs a lot case by case. Is the spot you need to manoeuvre flat, out on a slope? Nice tarmac, or loose gravel, etc. In my front garden I have loose gravel, making it hard to push the bike back (the GT has a reverse... The RT does not). Are you tall? I am 186cm and I can easily flat foot the RT, which makes it really stable to move around walking.
I guess you should just try it...

@@FlatTwinTherapy OK, my drive is paved so should be OK and I can flat foot it so can paddle it I am 5'10" 1.76M so not as tall as you. My local dealer now has a 1250RT LE in so I will give it a push around I think it comes down to practice and confidence. Thanks for the advice.
