If the art style looks familiar, yes the animators made pecola as well
The only reason I clicked was because I recognize the style from pecola. I would of never guessed they made a show like this
Me: That's awful, going around stealing someone's soul!
Also me: Plays Luigi's Mansion and evict ghosts that were just hanging around and enjoying themselves.
The way the voiceover is pronouncing "Neko" is depleting my sanity meter tbh
I once saw this game on Cinematech back when G4 was still a thing. It always fascinated me!
Thhe Japanese word "neko" is said Neh-ko, not nee-ko.
This is my favorite game, glad to see it covered.
The show is good ( bit hard to find on DVD but still)
I'm pretty happy that this segment is working out well.
The Grim Reaper has a hat that looks like flag of Sweden. Joel is that you?
Oh god, I remember watching this series in my college anime club. None of us knew what we were getting into. It was a wild ride
Who sees the word "neko" and thinks "nico"??
English speakers?
@@irrelevoice old english speakers, I see NECK ko, you know, like japanese for cat...because shes a cat zombie......
me
I didn't understand that bit at the end. Also, if I understand this right the head honchos thought 'appearance matters more than gameplay?' What? That's nuts. In any case, the appearance looks cool and distinctive so it ticks both boxes for me.
Wow let's get an HD re-release for $20 on steam! I want this game
Damn GHS is legit the scariest game i've ever played in my childhood, enough to keep me and my friends (im scared playing alone lol) at the edge of our seats everytime.
While games like RE, outlast etc only have 1-3 main protagonist chasing you around, GHS have like 6 simultaneously and youre tasked to somehow approach and steal something from them instead of just exploring and running away when you see the bad guy
Neko means "cat" in japanese. It is not pronounced "nico"
but "neko"
Thanks Travis, hope your work on NMH3 is going well
This is my all time favourite PS2 game, such a hidden gem!
thumbnail looks like a rejected Pecola character
scratch that, This entire Game looks like a Pecola Spinoff
Same creator, actually.
Funny you should say that, the creator actually made Pecola.
