Ever since last month I've been planning to buy a good laptop for school(video editing/programming) and gaming (dotes/csgo/etc) and I really had a hard time picking the right one that suits my budget and as well as looking for the right specs to support my purpose.. so I've been searching for reviews on youtube and then I found Alvin! He's been really helpful to me most specially when considering prices and specs. He's very specific to details and he gives us samples when/what the laptop is for which - I find it very good.

Dahil sa vlog mo sir about Vivobook S14, iyon ang binili ko last week. Solid ang user experience at portability. Though 2019 model ang nabili ko, s431fl. Pero overall, sobrang satisfied. More vlogs to come sir! Ang husay ninyong magpaliwanag. 😊✌🏼

Sir Alvin first vid na pinanood ko ay yung Asus S14 Ryzen 5 4500U. Ever since nagustuhan ko yung clear and concise review niyo. Very helpful sa aming students yung ganito since more on investment ang tools/equipment tulad ng laptop. Sakto po vid niyo kasi 40k yung sa tingin ko na "absolute" limit. Dahil po sa useful vids na ito nag subscribe ako. Gawa rin po sana kayo ng care tips para sa laptops and phones para mas mapatagal yung lifespan ng mga gadgets namin kasi di po biro ang halaga ng electronics.

I'm planning to buy a new laptop and I'm torn between the Acer Swift 3 and the Asus Vivobook S14 since they have the same CPU, GPU, RAM and STORAGE. Other than that gusto ko sana comparison ng display, battery life, ports tsaka yung overall design. Kasi parang specs lang po pinagkumparahan nyo sa Swift 3 but yung S14 may on hand kayong device. Pa-hands on review naman po sa Acer Swift 3 at pacompare sa S14. Para makatulong po sa buying decision ko. Thank you! I already subscribed to your channel. I like your videos.

Hello! I think you should get a two-in-1 laptop, but it is really expensive especially if you really want good graphics and color gamut. Microsoft surface go 2 or surface pro 7 is good- it is just a small laptop that can be a tablet if you wish to draw something; really handy and also good for college students, but this also comes with great price. It ranges from 22k to 100k Pesos it depends kasi separate po yung pagbili ng tablet, keyboard, pen and such. I also do digi art but still bought the acer aspire 5 (not 2in1) which costs for about 35k kasi I have no choice; I only bought it from Octagon. Since my laptop is not 2in1 and is not a touch screen, I'll just buy a separate drawing tablet like Huion, XP Pen, or Wacom then connect it to my laptop.
When buying a laptop for digi art. I suggest you get a laptop with a processor of Intel corei5, mabilis na rin to pero if you want your laptop na mas mabilis pa then go with the Intel corei7 pero mas mahal siya. Intel Core i5 is fine. As for the storage, Ayos na rin po yung 250gb ssd storage. If you want more then go with the 512gb ssd storage. You don't need 1TB of storage, it's too much. For the screen display, you said that your budget ranges from 35k to 45k, I think you'll get a laptoo with a 1080p Resolution, it is also called full hd or high definition.

Again, the prices are kinda steep even for the base variants but is good enough for work that needs to be done. And these laptops will surely benefit you in your course and other needs as well.

Hello! I'm also looking for laptops, mag se-senior high palang po ako pero parang may plan din yung magulang ko na bilhan na para sa online class. Personally po ok na po ako sa Lenovo Ideapad slim 3, hindi rin po kami mayaman kaya budget talaga, ok naman po yung specs nya at processor po makakaya na po yun para sa AUTOCAD, hindi nga lang po high end yung graphics nya pero kung processor po yung paguusapan, swak na swak na po yung Ryzen 5 tsaka 8gb na ram. Sabi rin po ng marami atleast 8 gb of ram po yung kailangan para mag run yung apps ng walang maraming lag. Parang eto po yung pinakamura na may ganitong specs. Myne Halos ganyan din specs ng laptop na ginagamit ko ngayon. Almost 4 years ko na siyang gamit pang-online class. Para sakin pwede na 'yan, pero pagdating sa editing medyo naglalag lang yung playback. Pero nakayanan naman niya yung mga editing softwares pati nga AutoCAD.
Myne Para mas ma-improve yung performance, pwede mo naman atang ipa-upgrade yung RAM
Upgrade mo ram pre ok na sa 4 or 6gb kase tendency ng online classes ay maraming tabs gagamitin mo sa google tsaka may ibang programs pa na gagamitin hinde kaya ng 2gb yan lods pero ayos na sa 4gb
Trivia: Mauubos na capacity ng 2gm ram kapag may nakagamit na 20 google tabs maglalag na yan at hinde kapa nakakagamit ng ibang programs nun

Hi I think may few corrections lang po on the Acer Swift 3. Based on websites I have seen, it only weighs 2.65 lbs or 1.2kg not 1.5kg so technically, the Acer Swift 3 is the lightest in this list (I have seen this in person it is definitely light). Also, another thing students might want to consider apart from its light weight for portability, all units come with a pre-installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 (lifetime subscription) which costs around 6k pesos if bibilhin separately. Also, the warranty is good for 2 years for unit parts and services and 1 year warranty on battery and charger. Pero still, Kuya Alvin awarding this as best value is definitely correct.
