Cracking video, always good to see different methods of catching fish, roach are such stunning creatures, strange how irrigation reservoirs always seem to be Cracking big fish waters too, never thought of using Pacific tuna type baits for roach, think I get stuck in the sweet, savoury, or traditional like bread etc, loved the video, stunning immaculate roach, good health and safe travels, cheers craig

I've found the Guru QM1 hooks to be really good for big roach and bream on the ledger when using braid hooklengths, fine wire but strong and once they go in they don't tend to come out
I know that Rich is a very good angler and I always enjoy seeing big roach, but isn't this really just scaled down carp fishing with boilies, bolt rigs, spodding etc ? Rich himself states that he's caught big carp on these rigs, so it's hardly specific. Personally, I'd much rather see Rich catch big roach on a river using more traditional techniques. This is just my opinion. No need to have a go at me.
