  • 🎷 I'm Video-Journaling my Sax Therapy Progress 😚 Start Date: March 23, 2023 🤓
    First Saxophone Lesson: 3/25/2023 (weekly lessons with sax teacher)
    I try to practice 20-45 minutes daily, and post videos as often as I can... #NoRules #JustForFun
    In my 'real' life, I'm a full-time session vocalist / studio singer, music producer & songwriter who loves the outdoors, baking and animals. 🦝🐿🦙💕

    You're making great progress, very nice! Your tuning and timing is really good. Your tone is improving big time--your embouchure, neck and shoulers all look very relaxed. Your fingers are staying close to the keys too! You're doing all the right things=feel great about your progress.
    Look at how much you have learned since you first got your Saxophone. It's good to think about what we have yet to learn, but it's really important to reflect on what you have learned as this gives us perspective. Sometimes, we just don't see the progress we've made. Look at your progress in this video, and then go back and compare it to the first video you made...your progress should be very evident to you.
    You'll be up and playing your favorite songs before you know it--keep at it!

      🙏☺️😃 I mainly work with the material my private teacher provides, and I also use O’Neill’s The Jazz Method for Saxophone, as well as a pop sax school/book by Dirko Juchem. ☺️
