Can you do a quick downshift rev match a bike like you can a car? (Let go of gas > Clutch in and bump the gas a little to rev match for lower gear > shift in lower gear > let go off clutch entirely)

@@Tank_Taps thanks! and yeah i have spent last 2 years researching about which bike i want and went to dealerships to sit on and see them in person, because thats A LOT of money for a bike, for me at least it is - even used ones are 15-20k and BMW's can go for even more than that! And yeah I plan on doing mostly mixed roads (highway/town roads/gravel/dirt and full on off road AKA basic long range travel stuff) because as soon as i get my bike, me and my brother are planning a tour through 8 different countries in eastern Europe. He already has his license and has been riding for years now. cant wait to get my license and my own bike!
When I'm Downshifting and don't need to brake, I usually just keep my throttle still, because then when you pull in the clutch the friction from having to drive the bike Disappears and the RPM rises naturally
This video would be PERFECT if he stopped talking during the key moments of letting out the clutch so we could actually HEAR the engine. 🤷♂️

Yes absolutely! It's the same concept. Everything still applies but you're just using your hands now for the throttle and clutch instead of your feet
