I remember seeing this live during their Nightmare tour was the single best song I’ve ever experienced live. They hadn’t used any pyros up until this point in the show, and they had these gates as a backdrop. As the guitar solo was going, they suddenly just had flames and flame bursts coming out of them. It sent shivers down my spine!
One of the things i love on this song is the softness of the drumms

I think their two best songs might be Save Me and Exist, two masterpieces if you ask me
the skull with wings is actually the band's mascot named deathbat.. it's kinda a unique culture thing in metal where bands have their own cool looking mascots that they'll feature on album covers, tour posters, merch, etc.. it's honestly pretty rad.. you should look some up.. (well known metal mascots includes iron maiden, dio, megadeth, motorhead, etc.)

This is still the best official lyric video that I've ever seen and the song itself was my favorite song of theirs until I heard Not Ready To Die, which I would highly recommend as well if you haven't heard it. The structure of this song reminds me a lot of One by Metallica which is probably why I love it too. Great reaction as always Rachel!

For me this is easily their best song. It has everything I love about A7X. Syn's intro has so much feel to it, later he plays one of his best solos imo, it showcases Matt's vocal abilities, the drums are a lot of fun, the dueling guitars, and overall the songs flows so well and so perfectly into each new section. Simply a masterpiece 🖤💪

This is deffs one of my fav A7X songs. This has a Metallica sound from the songs One and The Unforgiven. It also has a bit of a commercial grunge sound to me. I grew up with the soft heavy soft sound. The bat skull is their logo. They stole the idea from the thrash band Overkill.

I think you completely understand it in the right way, but you also can be more specific - it's about a personality that's been deserted from the society because some kind of strong beliefs, Irish ones especially. Plus, Dream Theater 40th Anniversary Tour started real well - first three concerts were in London, Berlin and Cologne.
