Thank you, Liz. But may I ask the use of "the information" in the first picture here? I personally think that was not a mistake, because "the" really indicates some specific items in the chart. So I believe both with "the" and without it are fine in this context. If there's something wrong, I'm glad to receive your feedback!
We don't use "the" in this case because it is undefined. Normally, we would use "a" but because this is an uncountable noun, there will be no article in its undefined state.

The table illustrates information about the total cost of fish in billions of dollars imported to the US between 1988 and 2000 Which is increasing as we can see from 6,57 to 10,72, While the chart gives information about the sources of it ,which is China, Canada and others in 1988 ,1992 and 2000 ,we can notice that Canada amount decrease from 60% to 28% while China and others increase.
