Now i know why i got low scores in writing tests before. I always disregard the numbers or data thinking that it’s already understood in the chart. Stupid me. Thanks for this!
This is amazing. I wish i had discovered your website before. I had attempted the ITELS general exam last year without any prep at all. My overall score was 7, whereas i scored in 8 and 8.5 in speaking and listening respectively. I achieved a 7 in reading whereas my lowest was 6.5 in writing (primarily because i was unaware of any structure to the writing). In 2 weeks, i am redoing another IELTS with a target of band 9 with the help of your awesome videos. Wish me luck! I'm already feeling confident.
Actually I had 1.5 months time to prepare for my IELTS. I can to know about IELTS Liz videos only 2 weeks before IELTS would have seen this earlier. Such a gold standard videos of IELTS 💕.

For some reason I find Task 1 more difficult to tackle since I'm not that savvy when it comes to graphs and things. But I must say that your video is spot on.. it made me look at it in a different way. I watched other videos but yours is by far the best! Thank you so much for sharing. You got yourself another subscriber! Glad I found this
joladybug84 Writing task 1 (academic) can be difficult mainly because there are so many kinds of task 1: line graphs, pie charts, tables, bar charts, maps, diagrams and also multiple types. So, it can be confusing. But if you learn each type carefully, you will find that it is actually quite simple. Take some time to go through my blog and learn more about each type of task 1. All the best Liz
Hi Liz, I watched all your IELTS videos for my academics examination and it went very well. I would like to commend your outstanding teaching skills. This is a comprehensible teaching method, cheers. Most of the tips and skills I needed were discussed by you as if I am just practicing on the actual exam. The true, false and not given discussion is such a great help as well as for the other sections. I scored an overall band of 7.5 which is more than enough for my graduate school admission application. I owe you this one. I will be referring you to my friends and colleagues who will be taking IELTS exam soon. Such a great help you are. Thank you. 🙂
After watching this video, i think i got the best teacher for my IELTS learning. i am very pleased to say that your method of teaching is superb and how you are pronouncing, is something that i think the most suitable for every one. now i will start my learning from scratch with your videos.
Hey Liz! I gave the test about 4 days ago for which I got the result a few minutes ago. I'm sort of a 'pro-procrastinator' you can say. So, naturally I started my full-focused prep just 2 days before the test. I didn't expect much from the result and yet, I scored a band of 7.5 overall. Your tips just carried me over to that score. Can't believe you do this thing for free, while so many people just make a business out of it (in my country especially). You're an amazing human being, really. I hope you live a long and healthy life!
I'm so very pleased for you. It's great to see how well you've done. Good for you :) And thanks for sharing your results with me and everyone else as well :)
What nationality are you from? I'm from the Philippines I'm taking my IELTS exam so I could study in Australia. I'm kind of scared to take it because it's very expensive to take the test. I'm scared to fail. ;-;
Hi@@Kowniiiiiiiiiiii! I'm Bangladeshi. I can share some of my experience/thoughts about the test with you. Whether they come to your aid or not, that's completely up to you. 1st of all, if you haven't set a date for the test yet, you should book it asap at whichever day you feel you'd be ready to take it. In my case, it acted like a primary catalyst to prepare for the test (cause, you said it mate - freakishly costly!) As for the prep part, believe me, you're not alone. The way at which so many IELTS coaching institutions are advertised everywhere here, I was a bit worried about taking the test too. This unfortunately contributed to me procrastinating throughout my earlier prep days. However, just a few days before the test day, I found this living legend here - Liz. None of the other IELTS related content creators felt close to being as simple and fantastic as her. Her to the point tips and tricks (not forgetting her super friendly vibes, bless her) made me realise that the test's not that big of a deal, it's just a measure of how well you can execute those said tips in the test. That's it. I tried to gather as much tips as I could from both her channel and her website religiously within those 2 remaining prep days. IMO, the score I got was okay, but, if I had more time to give some model tests before the real one, I believe my score would've been significantly better. Nevertheless, I'm content with what I achieved. To get a better score, it's absolutely important that you know how and when to apply the tips that you get if you follow her materials. For the speaking test, there are plenty of mock test videos available in yt. Watching a few of both high and low band score videos for speaking test aided me in understanding what to do and what not to do during the test, respectively. Well, these are all that comes to my mind at the moment. Good luck for your test!
Thank youu Teacher Liz, honestly couldn't gush enough about how you've made my life and IELTS study easier! I am answering the test next year to move to US. Thank you for the detailed explanation.

Reading 7.5
Writing 7
Speaking 6.5
Got Overall 7.5 on first try!
hey
Lots of luck. If you need more in depth training in writing task 2, consider my Advanced Lessons: subscriptions.viddler.com/IELTSLizStore

All the best

Hi Liz, I watched all your IELTS videos for my academics examination and it went very well. I would like to commend your outstanding teaching skills. This is a comprehensible teaching method, cheers. Most of the tips and skills I needed were discussed by you as if I am just practicing on the actual exam. The true, false and not given discussion is such a great help as well as for the other sections.
I scored an overall band of 7.5 which is more than enough for my graduate school admission application. I owe you this one. I will be referring you to my friends and colleagues who will be taking IELTS exam soon. Such a great help you are. Thank you. 🙂

What nationality are you from?
I'm from the Philippines I'm taking my IELTS exam so I could study in Australia.
I'm kind of scared to take it because it's very expensive to take the test.
I'm scared to fail. ;-;
In my case, it acted like a primary catalyst to prepare for the test (cause, you said it mate - freakishly costly!)
As for the prep part, believe me, you're not alone.
Awesome dear Liz, your tranquility is by far the most attention grabber feature of your lessons.
Keep it up

@@nanushrestha5703 Actually I took the IELTS test a long time ago, and for my writing I only got 6.5. I think it would be better if you take a look at Liz's website, and practice with those materials. There's a lot of useful examples and information regarding time, scoring, etc. For the writing task 1 test, I even got lucky and got the same bar chart as the one that Liz provided in her website. For the writing task 2, I suggest you to take a look at her examples and tips, especially regarding "introduction paragraph" and "key linking words". Those really helped me.
