  • Sarah Boone four days after her sentencing wrote another letter to Judge Kraynick. In this letter Sarah Boone includes her original unedited statement to the court which includes her claiming past lawyer committed perjury, she deserves $15,000, and more.

I know it's difficult to understand her sometimes. She was saying I didn't matter who or how many people came to speak on her behalf, Judge Kraynik's mind was already made up at that point. Like ¡DUH! sarah! She's mad that he let her get up there and read 'part' of her statement if he already knew she was getting life

Sarah really does not seem to have the capacity to grasp the fact *FACT* that she killed a person; she videoed herself abusing another person whilst they were begging to be let out of captivity because they were literally suffocating. THEY DIED. I know that we all know what I just wrote - but yet I feel I have to write it out AGAIN because it is beyond bizarre that she does not GRASP THAT. I don't think I've ever witnessed denial to such a degree. How she has such unshakeable self confidence as this when she humiliated herself by making that video and then someone DIED I cannot get through my head. I can't imagine loving myself so completely as that. She totally and utterly adores herself. She really does believe she can do no wrong and is faultless EVEN WHEN SHE DID THE WORST THING A PERSON CAN DO: keep a person captive, torture and humiliate them, and kill them. And she thinks she is a fucking hero. It is beyond my understanding.

Oh, okay (yes now I am replying to myself!) I just got to the part where she blames the detectives for "making [her] lose from the beginning" - riiiight. She doesn't like losing. It's about winning. But I still don't get it to be honest. Nobody likes losing, but we can admit when we are clearly in the wrong. I try to imagine myself in Sarah's place, but being me: as soon as I saw the video I would be like "I'm guilty. I am. I am so sorry, I don't think I can live with myself. I can't make this right. Please don't forgive me, I don't want it because I don't deserve it." Seriously, that would be me. But then, I have done wrongs and that is how I have reacted. I guess that is why I simply cannot *u n d e r s t a n d* Sarah. And I haven't killed anybody!

At her sentencing statement she was wearing a ' Survivor ' tee shirt which she hawked . In the end, Abusive, murderous females will always claim Grape, Torture, etc. Truth is, Jodi stalked him and drove from the Oregon / California border to Arizona to assasinate Travis.

His decision to not comment about the case during his delivery of his sentencing, is more wise then I could’ve ever imagined.

YES YES YES!!! The above comment is a very astute analysis of the situation! Not only did Judge Kraynik refuse to engage with Sarah, I think there was great wisdom in him declining to curtail her statement prior to sentencing (aside from what her attorney may have convinced her to omit).
I believe the judge wanted to make sure she got to have her say. He neither provided unnecessary commentary, nor did he circumvent her ability to speak freely. He truly made no forced errors. He didn't say anything Sarah might try to use as grounds for an appeal, and he ensured that she cannot say she was unable to adequately speak on her own behalf. As cloying and infuriating as it was for ANYONE to have to listen to one more word from Sarah Boone, he let her hang herself while leaving her no room to maneuver and manipulate.
I suspect all parties involved in the criminal justice system will be examining and discussing The State of Florida vs. Sarah Boone for decades to come. There will be entire law-school seminars that analyze every facet of this case. And Sarah Boone herself will serve as a rich case study for mental- health practioners and students to study in depth.

Now to the best of my knowledge I believe all the questionable things that SB states the Judge did where dont at times the jury wasnt in the room and when they were he walked a very straight line and was adament in being nothing but direct accross the board. And by doing this as well as asking her at the end of every session is she was satisfied with her counsel and / or had any issues with the process tied her hands from using any of this for the appeals board. Basically, all this "foregiveness" is a way for her (in her mind) to bring out all the deception that was put on her (in her mind) and isnt going to float with an appeals board.

I know everyone is already interpreting this line, but as a grammar person myself, I wanted my version for posterity. For the line, "For me unfortunately, and regardless of...", you basically have to remove everything between the commas after the first 3 words, and then take into context the previous sentence about expecting forgiveness from the judge. It goes, "By my reserving particular parts of my statement, I was hoping to be graced with your forgiveness and consideration [in my sentencing]. For me unfortunately, your ignorant mind was already made up." She jumbles up the words and adds so much extra stuff, but it's actually a VERY SIMPLE statement - "I was hoping my statement would persuade you, Judge Kraynick, to have leniency during my sentencing, but I think that you had already made up your mind about it regardless of what I said." It can be shortened even further, but gosh, how annoying that she fluffed it up like that.
I want them to give her the 15000 dollars... and then pay it directly to the Torres family for reparations. Or whatever it is that you call when you owe the victims money. XD

Ah Sarah, now she forgets...she DID get from Judge Kraynick many favourable rulings.
Over and over, the prosecution argued that she should not be allowed to present a Battered Spouse Defense, because the facts of her case did not meet the requirements of such a defense, or a self defense Defense of any kind.
    They did this repeately.
And Mr Owens and Sarah fought back, each time. They INSISTED upon that defense.
Absolutely determined they were, to present that defence.
    And Judge Kraynick...he let them.

The audacity of this felon leaves me awestruck. Sarah, it's not within the purview of Judge Kraynick to forgive you, even if it was I assure you Sarah, he would not! His job, after the jury found you guilty of murder 2, was to judge you. He takes into account inculpatory and exculpatory circumstances. He also takes into account whether you show remorse and contrition. You showed none and got the life sentence you truly deserved, without the possibility of parole. Sorry Sarah, judge Kraynick made absolutely no mistakes in your sentencing. Every single right afforded you by the U.S constitution has been given ad nauseam. Just go away. Every dog has its day, you have had yours. You have been afforded privilege to a far greater extent than most!

I could not imagine looking up what people think about me on YT and social media shes so calculated she will say ANYTHING that will benefit her cause even with that said I can't believe she knows she said WAY to much during the interrogation you can't tell detectives you guys are doing good and that you NEVER drink or drink too much for it to be debunked 10 minutes later. IT BLOWS MY MIND AWAY THAT SHE EXPECTS PEOPLE TO BELIEVE HER WHEN EVERYONE'S SEEN THE FOOTAGE. You cannot come back from spewing lies and expect anyone to believe a word you say. Torres is 100% the victim here he got Justice! the judge seen straight through her gaslighting front the only thing she's accomplished is making herself seem like she's the smartest person in the world when she's actually the worlds dumbest criminal EVER. She honestly would of had a better defense saying she was so trashed and don't know what happened vs what she actually presented and I'm happy she got what she deserved. I'm sad that her closing statement was mostly trying to destroy his character they offered her a plea deal so she wouldn't now that she's guilty I don't think anyone would believe anything she says.

Judge kraynick did in fact give her an opportunity to explain herself. At a pre trial hearing when cashman wanted out. The judge asked sarah what was the lies she believes she was told. She said what she said but the judge couldnt identify a lie. He asked her what constitutional rights had been violated. Again based on her answer he couldnt find any violation. The judge could have told sarah that she was not entitled to bond. There were things he maybe should have made clear but i think all in all he gave her a fair chance to say what she wanted and i believe was genuinely listened to. At times the best he could answer was you are entitled to your opinion. He certainly didnt' want to go round and round. Sometimes we just have to suck up about something we are told. Thats life. Sarah didn't learn this fact of life.
