The woman in the car with Nichole is absolutely amazing. She kept Nichole looking at her and got her name. She was able to get Nichole into a sheltered place to sit and totally keep her focused on her face and her words of encouragement. This ladies body language and keeping it together during an emergency until help arrived. I wonder if she works as a therapist or with some organization in that county. If not, she would be a great person to work in that line of work.

She was so amazing at comforting her. Lots of times we see strangers step in and put pressure on wounds etc but they sometimes actually ignore the injured to talk to the 911 operator or just focus on holding pressure entirely. This woman was so sweet and nurturing 😭

The way he kept talking about the truck in the photos didn’t have any logos so it wasn’t his. Just showed he really tried to disguise his truck and really thought they wouldn’t find out. Now on older vehicles without wifi maybe but he had a new truck and were able to track its movements ontop of having him on video driving the truck without logos that very day. He should have lawyered up from the jump especially if he really had that just distrust w that dept but all that evidence against him was overwhelming so his ramblings of defense wasnt what sealed it for him.
Tim may as well just admitted he planned it right there after being searched in the room. "Your ex partner was involved in a shooting." 3 things: Didn't ask what happened or if she was ok. Immediately denied talking to the police for no good reason. He didn't ask WHO the ex partner was. If a cop randomly came up to me and said that, I would be shocked, confused and "well, which partner was it". He's not a teenager, he must have a litany of exes. Plus with his bad behavior, he must've gone through plenty of women who have broken up with him because they're not gonna deal with him and his antics.

@@geekybillI think it is a mixture of care and bedside manner in something like this situation. It is a mixture of rendering aid and keeping your human side calm but still allowing it to come across in your interactions with the person. If you maintain control and are calm it is better for the person who is hurt. If you can keep your cool and render aid while also trying to keep them talking to you and keep them calm it is better for everyone. It can literally be the difference in life and death in some situations.
To the lady that help her you deserve the citizens medal of honor. She had no idea if she was coming back. 18.5 years is not long enough. It should be a full 60 years.
I had a young cop pull his gun on me when I was 17. He pulled me over because he said I was speeding. When I asked him how fast I was going then he got mad. He told me to get out of my car and stand at the trunk. He started to frisk me and I told him he couldn't do that. When I turned my head he drew his gun. I asked him again how fast I was going and he told me to shut up. He made me pull my license out of my wallet and he called in my tag and provided my license info. When he realized I didn't have a record then he kind of calmed down but he still tried to intimidate me. The cop was shorter than me and kind of pudgy. He actually walked around my car and looked in it. I had my electric guitar in the back seat and he asked me if I stole it. I told him I worked my butt off to buy it. A few minutes later another cop stopped and saw who I was. That cop happened to be the husband of a teacher I had had and he remembered me. He made the other cop apologize to me. I stuck my hand out to shake his hand but he just turned around and left. The cop I knew apologized again then asked about my parents. I asked him what the other cop's problem was and he said the guy was an A hole with temper issues. He said he would complain for me. A few weeks later I was driving through town again and I got stopped. I sat there for about 5 minutes and a cop came to my window and asked me to step out of the car. When I got out it was the cop I knew and he started laughing. He stopped me to let me know disciplinary actions were going to be taken against that cop. He told me if that cop was to pull me over again to be sure to stop in a very public place. He said I was to request him to come out specifically. I never saw the punk cop again. Every other police officer I have been pulled over by has been super nice. Even state troopers have been very friendly.

Even with his talking nothing he said was enough to charge him for a crime- his girl snitched after she confessed to the crime. What’s crazy about that is she got the exact same tone he got almost and she fully cooperated on herself and him- all she had to do was never confess trust and believe without her confession and cooperation he never gets arrested and they would have offered her a lighter plea deal 5 or 10 years Max because the case is harder with no witnesses just shell casings forensics is not easy in court to convict in so they would have offered her less time and he would have been home to help pay for Lawyered snd have her out on bail fighting the case. I'm so happy to hear that she survived!! I've seen a lot of terrible crime videos, but the worst ones are the ones where you can hear the victim suffering. It pained me a lot more hearing her 911 call and her gasps than seeing a bullethole wound would do. 35 mins in and I'm loving how the interrogation is going. The way the detectives show him the information they have drip by drip, and only after he lies about something. And the moment they show they have evidence of the whole timeline, Mr. Know-it-all becomes Mr. I-don't-know.

He did display suspect mannerisms like crossing his arms when asked certain questions for example. Supposedly that’s a common subconscious behavior ppl do when feeling like protecting themselves. Also all the irrelevant information he’s providing to validate his story and attempting to make his lies seem more credible. But from this video I don’t see how he could lose his case. None of their evidence or even circumstantial evidence implicated him besides hearsay from the shooter who shouldn’t have any credibility and the baby moms claims. I also understand what he means about the cops. Imagine what it’s like to be constantly violated by the police and courts and have no avenue to pursue for holding them accountable. I mean look at what they did immediately after telling him nobody will threaten him or anything like that. Now on older vehicles without wifi maybe but he had a new truck and were able to track its movements ontop of having him on video driving the truck without logos that very day. He should have lawyered up from the jump especially if he really had that just distrust w that dept but all that evidence against him was overwhelming so his ramblings of defense wasnt what sealed it for him.

It is a mixture of rendering aid and keeping your human side calm but still allowing it to come across in your interactions with the person. If you maintain control and are calm it is better for the person who is hurt. If you can keep your cool and render aid while also trying to keep them talking to you and keep them calm it is better for everyone. It can literally be the difference in life and death in some situations.

I had a young cop pull his gun on me when I was 17. He pulled me over because he said I was speeding. When I asked him how fast I was going then he got mad. He told me to get out of my car and stand at the trunk. He started to frisk me and I told him he couldn't do that. When I turned my head he drew his gun. I asked him again how fast I was going and he told me to shut up. He made me pull my license out of my wallet and he called in my tag and provided my license info. When he realized I didn't have a record then he kind of calmed down but he still tried to intimidate me. The cop was shorter than me and kind of pudgy. He actually walked around my car and looked in it. I had my electric guitar in the back seat and he asked me if I stole it. I told him I worked my butt off to buy it. A few minutes later another cop stopped and saw who I was. That cop happened to be the husband of a teacher I had had and he remembered me. He made the other cop apologize to me. I stuck my hand out to shake his hand but he just turned around and left. The cop I knew apologized again then asked about my parents. I asked him what the other cop's problem was and he said the guy was an A hole with temper issues. He said he would complain for me. A few weeks later I was driving through town again and I got stopped. I sat there for about 5 minutes and a cop came to my window and asked me to step out of the car. When I got out it was the cop I knew and he started laughing. He stopped me to let me know disciplinary actions were going to be taken against that cop. He told me if that cop was to pull me over again to be sure to stop in a very public place. He said I was to request him to come out specifically. I never saw the punk cop again. Every other police officer I have been pulled over by has been super nice. Even state troopers have been very friendly.

He did display suspect mannerisms like crossing his arms when asked certain questions for example. Supposedly that’s a common subconscious behavior ppl do when feeling like protecting themselves. Also all the irrelevant information he’s providing to validate his story and attempting to make his lies seem more credible. But from this video I don’t see how he could lose his case. None of their evidence or even circumstantial evidence implicated him besides hearsay from the shooter who shouldn’t have any credibility and the baby moms claims. I also understand what he means about the cops. Imagine what it’s like to be constantly violated by the police and courts and have no avenue to pursue for holding them accountable. I mean look at what they did immediately after telling him nobody will threaten him or anything like that. They threatened him with violence and kidnapping and just cuz he tried to clarify what would happen instead of just bending over with his pants at his ankles they assaulted and kidnapped him.
