This looks really difficult.the movement in the game is SO HARD and for you to get the fast jump consistantly is just incredible.
Amazing run! Even though this game is ridiculously hard, you prove it that it's still not only very beatable, but also possible to near flawlessly run through it. It's indeed a hard earned skilled! Battletoads is one of the best retro games in my opinion.

There is a difference between a challenge and unfair. Silver surfer is just unfair. Battletoads I beat after repeated tries just by memorizing it. Not speed run but still finished the game.

I remember a game for the old Commodore 64 called "Shamus" where your character had to roam from screen to screen - non-scrolling - to pick up things and avoid bad guys shooting at you, etc. I can't tell you how many times I would go to the edge of the screen, have it switch screens and literally ALREADY have a bullet on my head killing me instantly. Like, Really? You guys thought that would be fair? Anyways, for some reason I still look back on that game fondly... Never even came close to finishing it though!
I beat this game, single player, as a kid. Anyone who has played through this brilliant game knows how stressful it is, even just playing casually. The shit this guy was doing is MIND-BLOWING. This game has SO many ways to kill you instantly, I was sweating right along with the runner! Congrats on destroying one of the best--and yes, hardest--games ever made.
Wish more speedruns were like this - play game legit way without cheap skips, glitchy short route exploits and bugs abuse; just a very polished, high efficiency gameplay performed perfectly at fast speed and full focus.

Yes that is correct, that early exit isn't allowed for 100%. The requirement is to spawn all the snakes in the level.
