Not sure if you’ll see this but thanks so much for the way you show this, helps a lot- I drive my Prius for a living and thought I was gonna have to shell out gobs of money having someone else do this for me haha
Kids and I were headed out to the pool and my car made a funny sound and the check engine light came on. 😞 we still went swimming 🏊♀️ then we went to autozone to get the code read Ignition coil for cylinder 1 $84.00. Cost of labor. Zero thanks to my son for being a awesome helper and this great TH-cam channel My check engine light shut off and it’s running again, my son and I had fun while working on this project together. I think he would make a good mechanic . I’m not a mechanic but this looked rather easy on the 15 min TH-cam video Which must have been condensed because It took us 2 hours. 🤦♀️ but I’m still thankful we were able to get it done with the help of this video. Thanks
From experience, I would only purchase ignition coils from the dealer. I had a bad experience with some that I purchased on eBay. I thought I was buying original parts but ended being counterfeit and it cost me lots of money to buy the dealership coils which fixed my problem.
What symptoms were you getting that told you they had to be changed? I think mine need changing and I'm getting like a stuttering effect under acceleration, feels like it's misfiring. No noises but i can feel it
Out of all the videos I've searched for on TH-cam I have yet to find a video on how to change the motor mounts the front the rear and the right front motor mounts of a 2002 Hyundai XG350
They are not Idiot's they are Greedy, (They want you to have to rely on dealership repairs) . My wife is currently driving her third Gen Prius. I remember on her first or second Gen I had to remove the entire front lights and bumper cover just to replace the headlight bulbs. They are great on fuel savings, but for maintenance and passenger room (I'm six four & 270 lbs) I hate them, but I love my wife and I'm a mechanic so it is what it is.

@@trappdaddy6920 that was 2 years ago buddy, you ain’t getting a reply
appreciate the straightforwardness
Outstanding video!
Why wouldn’t you replace the plugs when replacing coils?
Great BUT, why not get the plugs while we're in the area?
Sorry had to say it.
Because maybe the spec requires the spark plugs to be changed at 120k miles and/or the check engine light is coming on, my situation.
Saved me a lot of $$$. Thank you.
Awesome Job. I feel like I can do this by myself.
I'm replacing my coil pack with Denso. Do you recommend replacing the spark plugs too if the car had a code for random misfiring on cylinder 1 and 4?
So is the cylinder order from left to right standing in front of the car 1, 2, 3, 4?
This video saved me bout 900 dollars

Is it necessary to put dielectric grease on coil?
Does not matter where ignition coil goes when you stall the new one right
What's the torque spec for the ignition coil
Wait why a torque wrench? I didn't see one used in the video
Spark plugs if changing

Can I install spark plug without removing wiper motor?
Yes because the engine cover cannot be removed with the lower cowl in place. +Moses Moon
It's easier to just remove the wiper motor and tray.
All that trouble, and you didn’t do the plugs also?
They did the plugs as well. It’s in another video.
Unreal have to take wipers apart😂😢
Unbelievable
Does the engine cover not come off unless you take out the windshield wiper assembly?
