The algorithm favours videos that people will watch all the way through, and many people on TH-cam don't have that sort of attention span. 5x half hour videos will hold attention more and will get more views than a 3 hour video.. The "tractor room" was actually an engine building shop where they, at one time, built race engines for ARCA and Nascar. I was a vendor there and it was amazing with a flow bench and balancing equipment.

Plus, they're keeping awesome places like that from being bought up by a random developer and getting bulldozed to fit in yet another housing community that the local roadway infrastructure can't accommodate. That's exactly what's happening in my area, so it's good to see this kind of thing.
Make sure you convert all the florescent and traditional lights to LED, if they're mostly non-LED currently then you can probably decrease the monthly cost significantly, plus they generally last longer too.

This spot used to belong to Bob Shearer along with a massive collection of American classics called the "S40 Collection". The compound has a very impressive history, I hope Adam gets to pay tribute to his spirit and make him proud.
i’m actually his neighbor and spent so many years in that house and babysat Bobs granddaughter often. It’s an amazing place and the neighbors won’t be a bother, everyone is so spaced out and we thought the drifting in the first video was dirt bikes we could barely hear it!😂
That main shop setup should be left as is, outfit the “showroom” with the bend pack stuff but keep it mostly still as a showroom, it’s nice to keep the noisy stuff away from the offices
Cleetus can afford it because the Freedom Factory is a business which will generate income from the public visiting and watching events. I don’t think it would make as much sense for Adam, as this compound is not a public area, and is for his private use only.

Looked into it with several companies and gov incentives and we (and the panels) wont live long enough to see the plus side. The solar company and the power company eat up all of the profits and more.

Yea I used to do that myself. I pretty much do just custom builds, paint and body stuff now. The older restorations are pretty much a thing of the past now days. At least in my area. Adam talking about grey buggers 🤣 wait until they clean that room or fire up the polishing wheel.
That "Lathe" it´s a mill but wath ever, That is good old one. The only thing you can not do is round holes that you don´t have a drill in the right size becuse it´s not computer controled, and allot of those can be converted for a lot of money to be computer controled. And then that would be one of the best mills at all, But it´s a good starting point. Ps, My dad is a mechanic and he owns himself a mill and lathe and he a three year of Finish machincs degree, but he is not so good at electronics.
I find it awesome that you want to keep the gentleman's legacy alive. As soon as I saw all those old trophies left behind it made me sad. Its a shame when families don't share the same enthusiasm or respect for things when someone dies.

Your soon to be engine room was once an aluminum repair bay. Aluminum repair has to be kept completely separate for corrosion reasons. Loving the new place!

most people don’t know this but Lifts need to be inspected and serviced every year and these lifts have probably been there for a decade at least and not in service for half that time

This is every person's dream; to have you're own land/compound where you and your friends can hang out and make your passion and dreams a reality, while not have to worry about interfering with others. There's also just not a lot of buyers for an old racetrack outside of developers that would have to spend a ton of money to destroy it and then struggle to sell houses next to a drag strip. Cleetus is basically the only one that could turn a profit with that land. Adam bought a highly desirable and completely functional compound and got it for cheap out of pure luck. The land alone is worth nearly two million in Florida so if you throw in everything else that it came with it's just crazy.

@@skatetastic923 Not that much of a write off. We just built a house with a huge roof and wanted solar. Looked into it with several companies and gov incentives and we (and the panels) wont live long enough to see the plus side. The solar company and the power company eat up all of the profits and more.
Duuuude this place is epic. I feel like the current storage room for cars should be just that. The current shops location with all the lifts next door to the fab and paint rooms seems like a nice layout as is

Theres solar cells that charge really well with full cloud cover theres a plenty of optionsfrom solar to wind turbines. Im sure some of the homies can diy a most of it too. But thats def a good idea to save that cheddar. It pais for itself its a win win win situation 💸💸💸
The solar here in Florida is a lot of scams ask me how I know. They don’t put enough panels to account for stuff like a pool and ac running 24/7 365

You gotta save money through the winter just to pay for the spike in electric when most nights hardly dip under 100’f. I personally havent been to FL. I know through the bmx community itself though the connections with people thst are into so many different trades i would hope someone gots the hookup in that area. The room near the paint booth was a polishing room for aluminum and stainless trim. The box was color match chips for painting. I’m super proud for you guys. You have an amazing setup man
Yep my dad has a polisher like that for doing his trim on his 53 chevy pickup and it would be best suited for a room the compound flies around and makes a huge mess
Yea I used to do that myself. I pretty much do just custom builds, paint and body stuff now. The older restorations are pretty much a thing of the past now days. At least in my area.

That "Lathe" it´s a mill but wath ever, That is good old one. The only thing you can not do is round holes that you don´t have a drill in the right size becuse it´s not computer controled, and allot of those can be converted for a lot of money to be computer controled. And then that would be one of the best mills at all, But it´s a good starting point. Ps, My dad is a mechanic and he owns himself a mill and lathe and he a three year of Finish machincs degree, but he is not so good at electronics.

I find it awesome that you want to keep the gentleman's legacy alive. As soon as I saw all those old trophies left behind it made me sad. Its a shame when families don't share the same enthusiasm or respect for things when someone dies.

I wouldn’t trust my $100,000 car in a lift that has been sitting for at least 5 years either. You always spend money on what makes you money
@@AzureCrux They are quality lifts, but if Benpak is willing to replace at least the ones in the shop. Why not. Keep in mind the compound has at least 40 blue lifts.
most people don’t know this but Lifts need to be inspected and serviced every year and these lifts have probably been there for a decade at least and not in service for half that time
Its not like its some secret industry knowledge that they need to be maintained lol.. Still cheaper to do the maintenance. It's his money tho.
Just ironic that he says he wants to save money but in reality it seems that mantra only applies to the employee areas.

Just a tip on the forklift when you’re lowering it make sure you have the engine running otherwise the hydraulics can burst

There's another shed that can store like 50 to a 100 cars inside it with lifts and everything. So looks like one massive shed for car storage n one for main workshop.

@@FUCK_________googIe True, but it was an arguably derelict racetrack that would likely require millions in renovation so there was a ton of risk that drove the price down. There's also just not a lot of buyers for an old racetrack outside of developers that would have to spend a ton of money to destroy it and then struggle to sell houses next to a drag strip. Cleetus is basically the only one that could turn a profit with that land. Adam bought a highly desirable and completely functional compound and got it for cheap out of pure luck. The land alone is worth nearly two million in Florida so if you throw in everything else that it came with it's just crazy.
