Seasonal depression is something that I go through. When during the winter I truly act as though I have deep depression. But through a lot of crying and amazing friends I get through it, and I know that you can do it as well. Also congrats on your relationship I hope all goes well!
My gf and I broke up because of things wich can't be changed by us... (Homophobia, fears and so on) But February was a month of acceptance in Germany. It makes me happy to see a project on Yt Germany against homophobia. I had vacation the last week! Skiing was fun although there wasn't many snow... I've been getting upset a lot tbh, I was extremely happy at one point last month but now things are slowly getting worse again, I feel like nobody really cares about how I feel in a way, I've been getting confused a lot with myself because I don't know how I feel and it sucks because I don't have anyone to talk to about my feelings and I feel like my friends hate me in a way, they're all online friends and they're pretty much all leaving one by one and it hurts. Hey, Kovu (and everyone). All my life I've been really "happy," so to speak, but lately I've had a lot of trouble at home. My parents I know mean the best and they're super supportive of everything, but sometimes the things they do just piss me off. I guess since both of my siblings moved out then I kind of became the only kid in the house and all the dinnertime conversations were about me or about my parents (obviously, bc we three are the only people) but I just get so angry sometimes while we're sitting and having a meal together and I can't show it at all so I just have to contain it... then I go to my room and immediately start crying just because I'm so frustrated at myself and at them. Then if I was doing homework or something it takes at least an hour to calm down again and get back into "work mode," so it's affecting my productivity and concentration a lot. I hate making them feel bad when I'm crying or feel sad and they offer to help, but they don't know that they are the problem and would only make it so much worse... I wish I could tell them but I know they just wouldn't understand and probably do something more annoying whilst trying to fix it. I know it sounds teenager-y like "omg I hate my parents so much" but it's just little things they do that I've had enough of. Not even bad things, either, just things like sticking to the exact same routine every single day and pressuring me to join in the conversation when I really don't want to or don't have anything to add, and other things. Then when I do say something they don't take me seriously and just make a joke out of it and then talk about their own lives. My safe place is at school and I'm so lucky and glad to have a nice school with wonderful people and teachers and every day I just can't wait to get there, even if I'm an hour early and the school is empty. I'm happy during the week, but then in the weekend when I have to be at home all weekend I get pretty depressed by Sunday evening. This is when I go to your videos and hear what you've been up to and I feel so much better :D Kinda funny, I know, I love school and hate the weekends, but somehow my brain has just decided my parent's aren't good people to hang around. I need to be with my friends and people my age more, but it's tough being social, ya know. Like last weekend I had a swimming tournament in London (I live in Belgium), and I went there alone with my swim team. It was the most fun I've had in a long time and the most I've really genuinely laughed in months, and then as soon as my parents picked me up from the train station I just got sad again listening to them complaining about the traffic and the other cars cutting them off, while they cut off other cars. I just feel like they are so close-minded and don't see or notice half the things I do, unless they just don't act it. aNyway, thank you for being yourself and sharing your life's happenings. I shared mostly the bad things for me, but it's been a rough weekend now. Have a great day or week or month :)

Kovu, do you think that constant sadness could be tackled by only changing your gender physically and officially or if there is a much deeper problem that keeps bugging you? I personally believe that starting T and getting a top surgery would only erase some insecurities that are at the very surface, however, I feel like my self-esteem has been highly damaged throughout all these years of pretending, and playing by the rules of our society. I am afraid that, at least in my case,dysphoria has developed into a part of me, which will definitely be difficult to destroy.
