I feel the same way 🥺 I started watching kovu at a very rough time of my life when i had anxiety attacks everyday for 3 months straight and Kovu’s videos could calm me down so easily. It was so lovely to watch them. And I feel the same way, I love to see how much he has grown up and how much happier he looks rn. A younger Kovu probably wouldnt even believe if we told him how much he has gone through. Kovu had such a HUGE impact on me that i will forever check on him and how he’s doing bc i just love him so so much. And damn i am so happy to for him rn. ❤️

After watching you from the beginning of my questioning phase, your channel has really helped to guide me through the hellish thing I was experiencing which I knew nothing about. Last month I came out to my family and it didn’t go well at all with my dad and he didn’t talk to me for weeks, but I’ve spoken to my mum a lot throughout. Upon hearing the news of your top surgery date, it turned out that I’m getting my first short haircut on the same day, so I’m over the moon for the both of us. Hope all goes well and you have a speedy recovery!! :)

I have had several surgeries for different reasons from several doctors and the anesthesiologists have always made me feel REALLY GOOD Before I actually fall asleep. I don’t know what they use to do that but it totally relaxes you before your eyes close and then you wake up and the surgery is done. It really seems like you’re out for like 10 minutes. ive had a couple surgeries before and i can tell you that it is indeed like being put to sleep. just with no dreams. you're put to sleep and the next thing you know is you're awake and through with it :) quite a relief actually

It's like you just "lost that part of the day" (almost like amnesia and waking up to a better body??) I honestly like it because it also helps with pain in recovery too. I was always feeling great afterwards. Just my experience of course, I know many others have very different experiences, I hope you have a good one like me, it's the BEST feeling for me!
this is bittersweet for me because i'm obviously very happy for you and super proud of how far you've come but also i'm really fucking sad. i am almost exactly a year younger than you and we came out around the same time. i've been watching your videos for the entire time i've been out and it was really helpful seeing someone in a similar situation to me since i didn't know any trans people irl for the first year or so i was out. but you are so much further ahead in your transition than me now. i just got told that i've ages out of the adolescent trans service in my country even though in still a minor and now i will have to wait another 2 years for testosterone if i want to get it on the public system. and you're getting top surgery. i still feel 13 in a lot of ways. i have the same problems and the same dysphoria and i've barely been able to grow as a person socially. i hope some miracle happens or i can convince the endo service to still treat me or something because i can't wait 2 more years. idk why i'm commenting all this. i hope it doesn't make anyone feel bad i just needed to say this somewhere.

hey kovu! just a bit about anesthesia (or at least from my experience) for me they put it into my IV it’s very very cold! the anesthesiologist will probably tell you “don’t fight it" you close your eyes and then a bit later you wake up! honestly some of the best sleep i’ve ever had although i felt somewhat groggy afterwards and wasn’t 100% aware of what i was saying until i said it. I just hoped to possibly ease some nerves i legitimately thought i was going to die when i had the procedure that required anesthesia not from the procedure but the anesthesia. But alas! i’m still alive and well! Even if you end up being awake with no pain just some info for you! also CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🥳🥳 sending you lots of love and a speedy recovery!

I watched you and other TH-camr like Storm Ryan and kalvin Garrah, and more, and you all inspired me to come out. It took a while to be excepted (3 years) and now I’m 1 month on Testosterone and hopefully top surgery will come soon.

It took a while to be excepted (3 years) and now I’m 1 month on Testosterone and hopefully top surgery will come soon.
